This is the original singer of that song..i'm surprised you didn't seem to notice that it was the song that SB19 covered. Though SB19 added a rap verse which was absolutely amazing.

Nothing beats the original of course, but for obvious reason that SB19 has infused harmonization and the rap verse (which is lit) make SB19's cover more pleasing to listen to.
Filipino is the "official" language of the Philippines, like what's written in the law but Tagalog is the language spoken mainly in the central parts of the country and is the official language before it was changed to Filipino. Tagalog is actually also a dialect from a part of the Philippines in Batangas which is a lot deeper kind of Filipino.

HIs voice has such a R&B crooner sound to it with diction and lush vocal tones. Couple that with the sound production of the track - chef's kiss. The bridge are my favorite! Similar themes remind me of Morisette's Akin Ka Na Lang.

Filipino is the national language and tagalog is a dialect. Tagalog became the backbone or the foundation of Filipino language because it is the one that is widely spoken dialect in the Philippines. But Filipino also consist of other dialects in the Philippines. So it is like a combination of other dialects formed into one. I could say I mainly use tagalog for everyday conversations and use Filipino in things or conversations that are more formal for example a contract that needs to be written in Filipino. Or essays and other Filipino literature in school.
