Coinbase is the next publically traded trillion dollar company. They are in prime position to significantly disrupte all aspects of the legacy financial system, not just payments. BASE is built ontop of Ethereum which is the only crediably nuetral blockchain that has never been down. Ethereum is aslo the only blockchain with sustainable economics. BASE gets to leverage Ethereum's power for pennies thanks to reduced blob pricing. You made one error saying Visa cannot do anything. Visa has for years been working on thier own layer 2 to compete with BASE. Visa os also building on Ethereum. The problem Visa has is Coinbase has its investment arm into 100s of infrastructure projects on Ethereum. Thier abilty to leverage existing mind share amd tooling is a big moat for visa to catch up and compete on. Again coinbase isnt competing woth just visa they are looking at disrupting everything finance related.
I have sold the whole Coinbase position by 230. Now Im hesitating to buy it vack by 170. Is it so difficult for VISA and co to implement blockchain operations?
I don't think that will ever happen. Brian Armstrong still controls the company and why would he want to sell to a company that's not blockchain native? Visa may want to buy it, but why would Coinbase sell?

Imagine Visa would buy Coinbase. I think it could be a really good Acquisition.

COIN has a lot to like but when I see the stock based compensation VS net income, I don't like what I see 😅
