This has been on my plate for 8 years (when I first got the better audio)...had to dig a bunch of shit out of the attic/basement to tie it all together...finally got motivated to tie it all together for the 20 year anniversary
@@buckswope82 better late than never! There's an iceberg of footage sitting in attics so when stuff surfaces it's a gift. And in light of Universal admitting this week that their masters for the likes of BB King, Elton John, Nirvana, NIN, Clapton, The Police, etc were destroyed in the 2008 fire...really makes the preservation of original recordings even more important. So thank you for doing this, truly.
I bought tickets to this concert and they said obstructed view and I bought them anyways. I was on the hill and asked a guy where he thought these seats might be. “Uh, that’s the front row, dude”. Front row with a speaker to left not blocking anything. Rage with a surprise pop in had 40,000 bouncing and Tom blowing through guitar strings give chills writing this. Everyone was great, Rage just blew it up.
The most crazy mosh pit start with Bulls on Parade. I was standing up on the hill. The entire crowd moved as a sea of people into a GIANT mosh pit towards the stage. I was 19. Ended the day covered in mud. Best day ever.
What I remember most about this show was the fact that Rage wasn't originally on the East Troy lineup. The rumors swirling around the fest built a palpable fucking hype that almost stopped my then 24 year old heart. This has been the only time I have ever seen Rage, and it was completely by accident.
My buddies and I stayed in Janesville WI that weekend at the Motel 6. Rinsed our muddy clothes/shoes in the shower the morning after and left it looking like a crime scene.

Was this first time they played testify live?
No, they had played a handful of shows in 1999 before this and Testify was performed at each of those.
@@buckswope82 I could tell on some parts of tims bass during the guitar solo was a tad different
This was the fourth time Testify was played live, but the second time with these lyrics that are more closer to final BOLA version.
+++++++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are 3 666's on the flag? The worst number that ever existed, I like 3 777.
Must have the jab to see them now ha ha ha ha ha
If it wasn’t for the “jab” you wouldn’t have any concerts stupid 🤦🏻♂️
Still waiting for some punk to say ''how come they defend tibet and not communist china???''
