Would agree totally with your Top Ten Tips 👍. For me, both the LHR Clubhouse and the on-board crew are the standouts. Such a shame the on-board catering often lets the overall experience down.
Good tips! If you are flying Upper Class into Heathrow, be sure to take advantage of the Revivals lounge in Terminal 3. It serves breakfast and has shower rooms. If your clothes for the day need ironing, they will be happy to help.
Good point! I always forget about the Revivals Lounge because I tend to head straight home across London. But it is really good, if you’ve got further to travel.
From your new subscriber, Thanks! Your channel is the best of it's kind so far, especially regarding Virgin Atlantic. Every one of those tips is appreciated. I'm returning to the US from LHR in the A330-300 A row upper class, hopefully there'll be no equipment switch. I like the configuration.
Love the content on this channel, thanks for keeping it going. Clubhouse at LHR has got to be one of THE best business lounges in the World and couldn't agree more about the staff / crew. Everyone you interact with at Virgin is first class - ground crew, call centre and FA's. I don't know how they do it but everyone is so invested in the brand, it really shows. I'm sure there's a 'behind the scenes' documentary out there that gives you more insight.
Thank you so much for the tips. My husband and I will be going to South Africa from JFK via Heathrow in Upper Class. I particularly appreciated the menu selection. I just subscribed.
Brilliant video. 17 years since I flew UC in the old suites. Got the Retreat Suite booked (after I saw your video and shared with a few mates). Your videos are always informative and balanced
I flew in the Retreat Suite a couple of years ago. My only issue was the proximity to the front galley and the lack of the curtains always being closed so that light shone straight down on you when you were trying to sleep. You can see the review here: ruclips.net/video/ZNyETKM-I5Y/видео.html
As much as I love the clubhouse at Heathrow. I'm looking forward to flying from Manchester the a350 they are using has a booth and not the full lounge. With only 16 upper class seats is going to be a different experience than the 787s.
The main issue there is if you get an aircraft with a lower cabin capacity, however all the seats are good! Flown in them all and actually the 787/A333 seats are best!
Let me know what you think of the video and the tips. What tips do you have?
And please do subscribe for future reviews.

Thank you 🙏 I agree that catering has become the Achilles’ heel for VS. And to a slightly lesser extent, wine 🍷

Thank you so much - It’s really appreciated. Enjoy your flight ✈️😎
Nice video. Now all I’ll be able to think of when I see your content is of you nightclubbing til the early hours with the Virgin Cabin Crew 😂
I’ve flown VA many times, but this was super enlightening! I will definitely use some of these tips! Thanks!

So nice to your face for once; as in usually you don't sit and talk directly to the viewers. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you 🙏 Have fun in the Retreat Suite. If you are travelling in a group, up to 4 can comfortable dine together if you have both suites.
@@DoorsToAuto We do have both suites. Kids wanted to come (16 and 18) but i said I was only paying for premium, so they won't be joining us!
The A330-900 is lovely in upper “ 1d and G looked lovely I was in row 2 G .

Don't trust what they say you will be flying on. They can change aircraft at any time

I am flying Upper Class returning to LHR from ATL. Which clubhouse can I use in the international terminal (F) in Atlanta?
I believe it’s the Delta Sky Club. Sadly not as good as a Virgin Clubhouse ☹️
