English learners are often told to not use the word "very" because it's common. But then learners become unnecessarily nervous in conversations, and don't learn the native uses of words like thi. "Very" can mean a lot, or extremely. But natives also use "very" when emphasizing something, like "This is the very same place I found my keys yesterday." When you learn like a native English speaker, you can communicate more like one. :)
    EXTREME:
    very hot
    very cold
    very tired
    very old
    very late
    PRECISE/EMPHASIS:
    the very best
    the very middle
    the very top
    the very first
    the very last
    start from the very beginning
    EMPHASIS:
    This is the very spot
    the very day
the very place where I was born
those were the very words I said to my dad
this is the very university my grandfather went to
the very person who welcomed me years ago
    the very weapon
    the very advice
the very book I wanted to read
    this is the very lesson
    the very restautant
    the very problem
    the very question

You are an amazing teacher. I love the way you are explaining which gives a complete picture. It's very interesting, understandable and compelling. I started watching your previous videos and I liked visual phrasal verbs the most. This is a great idea.
    Thanks a million 👍.
    God bless you 🙏

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” You’ve done it again, Drew! You’ve made a practical, useful, down-to-earth lesson out of a triviality! “Very” remarkable! Bravo 👏 Maestro!

OMG, what mastery! :D As usual, I couldn't see the live, but it's so nice to listen and watch such a brilliant lesson at anytime!
It's also nice to hear you even repeat things you've already said while maintaining the very same enthusiasm and desire to get our attention.
You are truly unique and your passion is a great example for us. I so very love discovering this particular use of "very" that I had never heard of before.
(Maybe I'm not using it totally well yet. ) ;)

I still can't make the difference when I talk about action witch starts and ends in the past versus another one witch starts in the past and still happening in the present

I don't know but the way you pronounced 'interesting' it sounded like 4 syllables, you didn't pronounce it either as " in-ter-sting" or "in-ne-res-ting" or maybe it's an accent thing or maybe I have a very bad listening skill 😅
