I turned off the light in my room and replaced them with some candles and played this orchestra and added some lavender frangance in the air. It was romantic and majestic!
OMG I got to try this.. sounds soothing. It reminds me of a fireplace lit with lavender fragrance and some classic holiday music. ( maybe even a cup of hot tea with it)
As an old geezer who grew up watching the old Disney animations, the songs written for these films are so endearing and precious to me. The music and lyrics touch the heart and are so special...especially these dream/wish-themed songs: "Once Upon a Dream" (Sleeping Beauty), "Dreams are Wishes Your Heart Makes" (Cinderella), and "When You Wish Upon a Star" (Pinocchio). Cinderella's sound advice to her animal friends almost 70 years ago to never stop dreaming endures to this day. These timeless lyrics are very, very special.
@@Cruiserfrank Yes...I am aware of that. The music is nice and we can thank Tchaikovsky for that. But for me, it's the amazing lyrics that make these Disney soundtracks soo special and memorable. Not sure who penned them, but I think it wasn't Tchaikovsky...my apologies to him if I'm wrong.
@@pueo5785 -No, You are quite right and @Cruiserfrank is only half right. While the music itself was taken from from Tchaikovsky's 1889 ballet The Sleeping Beauty, the lyrics to "Once Upon A Dream" (The Sleeping Beauty Song) were written by Jack Lawrence and Sammy Fain. It has always been my favorite Disney film and IMO, the most beautiful on every level. Bravo @pueo5785 !
@@RichardWhitney-b7v Thank you for replying....wow! My post was 4 years ago, and this video is 8 years running and still drawing comments. But you know what? There's no clock or calendar because this kind of music is truly timeless. And you totally wacked it out of the park with your fitting words "...the most beautiful on every level." Much Aloha @user-bw4wv8en3x! ツ
know you, I walked with you once upon a dream I know you, The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam And I know its true That visions are seldom all they seem But if i know you I know what you'll do You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream. @@annieh.8175And Tchaikovsky made his music without those lyrics in mind. It was just referred to as the Garland Waltz. So, credit to Disney in the 1950s giving the project its heart and soul to create this wonderful adaption.❤
So, got home from work. HVAC tech. These last couple of days have been a precursor to what's upcoming. It's the season. I just needed to chill a little tonight. This hit the spot. Because tomorrow, is gonna be the gateway for extra income. But it's gonna be another long hot summer. Primed for the task.....just soothing music is the anchor for a gruelling summer. Let's relax and enjoy what we can.. A true lifting of heart. And a refreshing start of another journey. Into another summer... Music. There is nothing more refreshing...
Look at the credits. This is the waltz from Tchaikovsky, written before Walt Disney was born. Disney added some words for part of it. This is the original.

@@pueo5785True, time doesn't exist on the internet. Thank you for writing your comment. I needed to read this today.
This wasn't written by Disney's people.
This was written by Tchaikovsky in 1889; 12 years before Disney was born.
Tchaikovsky, your music is a present from God ❤
🙌🙌🙌
🎶I know you, walk with you once upon a dream, 🎶
I know you the way that you walked is so familiar a gleam
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem
@𝓝𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓛𝓾𝓿𝓾𝓻 🌙 oh I thought you were actually telling me that I was like: "Wat bruh I don't even know you"
Yay, my favourite song in one of my all-time favourite Disney films 😁
I remember TOM&JERRY 😂💜💜
I remember this from the first Ice Age short, and I'm just now realizing how amazing it is.
The Ice Age short actually featured Waltz of the Flowers instead of this composition.
I was finding this song because of Tom & Jerry for long time
Omg me too
😂😂😂
Me too
;;;;, do u guys not watch Disney?
Exactly
know you,
I walked with you once upon a dream
I know you,
The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam
And I know its true
That visions are seldom all they seem
But if i know you
I know what you'll do
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.
Once upon a night,
I dreamed we'd be together
In love forever.
Once upon a night,
I was wishing for a never,
A never ending.
Once upon a night
Once upon a time
Once upon a wish
Once upon a dream.
Thanx😊..
Well performed! Lol

Tom and Jerry, anyone?
where's this from? because I can't find this version or anything similar anywhere :(
This isn’t the sleeping beauty version from Disney’s movie, this is actually Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Waltz and it’s pitched up a bit
Look at the credits. This is the waltz from Tchaikovsky, written before Walt Disney was born. Disney added some words for part of it. This is the original.
Anyone know the name of this from the ballet?
The Sleeping Beauty Waltz.
Sleeping Beauty Waltz
“Once upon a dream”
From the sleeping beauty
Or the Garland Waltz as it is known.
who's the mister? of the picture
Tchaikovsky
