very nice, i have a 5 cylinder 91 coupe quattro (s2 clone) thats getting the big boost treatment, i also have a fwd b6 a4 as a daily that ive been thinking of doing something too, someone recently gave me a dual ball bearing 57mm billet turbonetics turbo and it got me thinking
I purchased it along with the Integrated Engineering large intake manifold, which already has the 80mm plate on it. I believe they also make step-up/step-down plates to fit the 80mm TB to a stock intake mani. Check their site: www.performancebyie.com
You're about 500 miles or so from RAI Motorsport. They specialize in all Audi/VW big turbo applications. You might give them a call and see if they can schedule a day for you. Check them out here: goo.gl/maps/pKj3abTFrv82 It's worth the drive.
Boost threshold is good, but response was really laggy. Didn't hit full boost until like 6K. Not knocking you, but I'm a bit disappointed since I'm considering the Gen 2 of this turbo.
All but 8 valves were bent when this was filmed, so the boost was leaking through the motor bad. That's where all the smoke was coming from, too. We have it back together, but we've yet to get it back on the dyno. Other things have taken priority. I'm expecting boost to come on quite a bit lower and well over 500whp once we get it running again.
Did you ever figure out the oil issue? I am having the same problem. When i dig into boost hard (im set on 24psi) I puff a cloud of smoke and smell oil bad. But when I stay in low boost, nothing.
Tuned by TBA Racing/Two Brothers Automotive in Houston
Fake ass comments I've seen those 2 exact comments somewhere else
Yes, you have a lot of power but only from 6k to 7k it will be a little tricky to drive
Stay tuned......no pun intended, haha

Hi.have you done this power upgrade to S2....
Very cool seems like the guy in the car really knows his shit.👌✊🏻
really nice car good job! that 1.8T engine is one of the best for tuning, invincible 😁👍
*cough* VR6 *cough*
@@gasscooterdude not easy to tune that much tho
I like this wheels bro!Can you tell me mark of wheels?
Nice fox body over there!
Build specs?
1.8 + 3071 = boost for all of 0.5 seconds
lol! It can rev out to 8500, so maybe 2 seconds.
you have no idea what youre talking about
I love the Car and Setup, do the same here in Germany with a gtx3076.
Please more from the Car, especially with the Speedo cam!
What ar do yo run want to put a 57-76 with 48 ar on a 2.5L v70r m66 Hope's for full boost at 3500 rpm 23 psi
why the boost come so lazy ?
Because its a 1.8 spooling a large T3 capable of 650 horsepower..
What kind of wheels? They are sickkkk
These are Miro 111: www.europeanroadandracing.com/product/18-inch-miro-type-111-silvermattte-black-5x112
hey what kind of rims you have?
Sorry for the late reply, I hardly check this channel. Those are the Miro 111's.
Mod list?
Build list?
What are the specs on the turbine housing? .84 A/R?
I didn't get far enough down. Just read .63 a/r. Killer!
Would this be the same 1.8t that's in a 05 Passat?
Yes, it's the same engine.
Full boost at 5,500 Rpm's?
hiii, nice project , ve one question , this engine is mesaure standart but forged ??? you change de cat cams ??
what internal upgrades are done to the motor?
isaac murdock none by the looks of it
Atleast rods if they are trying to make over 300wheel torque
Any internal work done on the engine to support the turbo ?
Ik its a really late reply but the stock motor only supports 320-330whp so definitely.
4:25 to 4:57 That idle sounds insane on subs hahah
do you guys know a good place here at LA? thanks /...
Unfortunately, no. Good luck with your search!
What a/r is your turbine housing?
.63 for such a small motor
You got 26 psi by 5500..I have a gt3076r and I got 26psi at 4000rpm!I don’t think you got the .63ar.Mabe 1.06.a/rOr your tune realy suck
Stock motor?
Fully built. Lower compression Mahle pistons, IE rods, Ferrea +1mm valves, springs/retainers, 80mm throttle body, huge IE intake manifold, 1000cc injectors; it's ready for anything I throw at it.
hey man nice setup!! Im building a mk6 R and need to get it tuned, i'm in dallas.
And boss?
how easy/hard is it to install the 80mm hemi throttle body?? what would i need to adapt it?
I purchased it along with the Integrated Engineering large intake manifold, which already has the 80mm plate on it. I believe they also make step-up/step-down plates to fit the 80mm TB to a stock intake mani. Check their site: www.performancebyie.com
Where are you from? I have a 02 gti with a gt3071r and I'm looking to get dyno tuned but no one where I live does it
I'm in the Houston area. Where are you? I might know some places in your area.
I'm from Vermont. :(

It's worth the drive.
hotsnatch2003 ok thank you. When I get my car out of storage I'll definitely give them a call.
what upgrade you did on you car?
automatic?
This is the 20th Anniversary Edition GTI, only 4000 were made for the USA and they all came with 6-speed manual transmissions.
hotsnatch2003 thankyou for the response
Well hello. Im number 3076 lol i wish i had 400hp
That's a good number, especially since that's a great turbo to match up with this engine (GT3076R) :)
hotsnatch2003 the way I like it

Will this be compatible if I was to place it in a Lancer GT
Contact Two Brother's Automotive in Clear Lake, TX and they will let you know.
are you running a aftermarket throttle body?
What is your setup?
How much PSI?
Awesome work boys!!!
whats going on with this??
Long story, but it's still at the shop. We ran into some issues with the AEM ecu and it's gone on the back burner for a bit.
Did you ever figure out the oil issue? I am having the same problem. When i dig into boost hard (im set on 24psi) I puff a cloud of smoke and smell oil bad. But when I stay in low boost, nothing.
What colour is the smoke? If it's white your turbo is pushing oil into the manifold, if the smoke is black then is just over fuelling.
Why you only hitting 125mph?
That might be the top of that gear. You tune in the gear that's closest to 1:1 ratio.
What rim is that?
Miros
Miro 111
How much do u think u could get out of an ea888 gen 3?
What ever happened to this?
700 hp GTI NNNIIICCCEEEE

All very good but the front of the car will look rubbish!
How so? The OEM bumper will fits.

Miro 111's staggered 8.5" up front, 9.5" in rear.
Been looking for a name on these wheels for ages. Finally got it, thanks so much man!!🤘🏼
bad performance for the mods you have. in greece they make much better figures with better useful power range with the same mods.
shoulda built a honda
Gotta build what you have!
