    My father was a logger and we loved every moment we spent in the bush. He shared the experience and the love of the entire system.
    I can say I have listened to the Eastern Whip bird so many times but never knowingly seen it. I always associated the Whip bird call with checking for leaches. lol. Your sound recording is amazing and I am only listening on my phone.
    Great work and thanks for sharing. 🫡✨☮️🇦🇺

    Tim, this is wonderful. Thank you so much. My Mum was a dedicated birdwatcher on the mid north coast and we had lots of birds on our one acre property where I had planted native trees. I love hearing their song. One of my all time favourites is the Grey Shrike Thrush. I had a pair who nested every year in a hanging pot plant on my back veranda. They were very trusting. Oh! And the Yellow Robin was also a regular visitor and very tame.

      Glad you enjoyed it and thankyou for your story. I am convinced that a world without bird sounds would be absolute misery. I agree that the Grey shrikethrush is amazing and I have a documentary about these and other songsters being edited.

    Just loved this! Probably not very original to say that the Eastern Whipbird's song is my fave - & I guess I probably wouldn't want to hear it non-stop - but for the time it was showcased here, I was hooked! All the different robins was fun. Need to have them all lined up on a branch. The pink robin made me think of a little piece of candy, but the yellow and flame were my faves. Thank you again, Tim! 🤩

    thank you Tim. was this captured in south-east Queensland. That's where I live and so many of these bird calls are sounding so familiar. it's amazing to be able to match the bird calls to bird because I don't always see the bird that is making the call.

    I have a new bird singing in my backyard. I'm thinking it is a small bird and it sounds like a canary singing. I'm enjoying all these videos while I search for the culprit.
    I'm in Bundaberg for anyone with ideas.behind my house is vacant land that has lots of grasses and shrubs and we have seen tiny birds carrying long grass over the house.

    • @TimSiggs
      @TimSiggs  20 дней назад +1

      The birds carrying grass are likely to be either Chestnut breasted Mannikins or Red-browed Finches.
