The series really did peak with FM3 and 4. Every single one afterwards has been a downwards spiral. I totally predicted this when Don Mattrick spoke at E3 2013. This type of video really takes me back because I used to be hugely into cars and especially Corvettes.
I wish I can play FM4 and play through its career, however I finally found my Xbox 360 so once I order FM4 (and FM3), it will now be possible for me to play it.
@@Mr.Goldbar I respect that To me my favorite is FM5, it sounds the closest to a ZR1 from exterior, FM6 sounds closest from interior but the high pitch ruined it sadly. FM8, FM4 and FM3 sound more like a bone stock C6 Z06 mixed with generic sound samples...not how a ZR1 sounds like unfortunately
@@Mr.GoldbarI think FM7's ZR1 samples are more from the Ultima GTR 720 from Forza 6 or the Chevy SS. You gotta check out gameplays, their sounds are more familiar to the zr1's fm7 soundfile compared to the C7 Stingray from fh2. I still hear some similarities from the C7 Stingray on fh2 as well so you're definitely spot on
@@AhmadGalalYT and I believe the Ultima from FM6 sampled its sound from the Stingray in FH2, it's all tweaks to fit each game's general sound characteristics
to me all of them are wrong, but specially motorsport 7 it sounds like a Audi r8 4.2 not like a corvette. closer one is fm8 or whatever they call it now a days.
@coach4050 ruclips.net/video/fZLKs5chthk/видео.htmlsi=apccM96cZ5bGDoUg On the part where they are all wrong I agree. But I disagree regarding FM8, it sounds nothing like a C6 ZR1 (based on the given link). The closest/spot on one is FM5. FM8's ZR1 sounds more like a stock C6 Z06
@@AhmadGalalYT. Thats was my close second for me cuz in low revs to me fm8 is closer, but overall fm5 isn’t that bad too, to me the exhaust note in fm8 is better or more reslistic, in fm5 sounds more generic if it makes sense say it that way.
I reved it to the max in each Forza title. The problem is on the devs they could have implemented a fix on the pitch but they never addressed it back then unfortunately
All of them are wrong , never saw a racing game ever values LS sounds , only happens in asseto corsa , also with mods too , let’s be real , best realistic sounds for C6 ZR1 goes to asseto corsa
Which car you'd like to see in the next comparison?
Ferrari F50 GT
Do LFA
Enzo Ferrari 2002
Audi R8 V10

You can download Xenia and find an FM4 rom :)
@Mr.Goldbar As I wrote that last comment I realized that I can use my Series X.
@@devilpros1346 didn't know you can turn a Series X into an emulation box!
@@Mr.Goldbar I didn't know either.
@@Mr.Goldbar have you tried it yourself? is the game really playable with Xenia?
FM5 and FM8 sounded the best to my ears.
FM6 is close but a bit too high pitched, FM4 would've been close if the recording quality was higher

For me FM5 sounded the best here
Agreed
R34 blue, 458 red and lp560-4 green 😊😊😊
this car potential to reach 400 khm or more
Meanwhile Asseto corsa is laughing in corner with a C6 ZR1
Bro please r34 vs 458 vs lp560-4
Ok,i have an idea, what about next SSC Ultimate aero vs bugatti veyron in FM4?
I gotta fire up my xbox360, too bad I dont have the DLCs there though so I'll have to use the Veyron 16.4 which...I doubt will keep up
10:22 the brake lights are so bright...my god, FM7 did it better
Do it with the Audi R8
FM5 and FM6 are t he best imo
I agree,
I just wish that the revs didnt sound that high on fm6, it was perfect on fm5
Forza 7 for me
I dont get how it gets worse everytime 😂
the 5 has a better graphics wow
Forza 6 is the closest but you're revving it too high to sound right

The newest Forza sounds the worst. No Corvette sounds like that even on video. It is extremely bad. It's no wonder this series went to the dumps.
car model is awful
