I use Sarah’s advanced, there is also a method called NS which solves the last 2 layers with move efficient algs vs advanced which uses series of sledges and hedges
For those who didn't notice is cool the fact that this optimal algorithms on skewb are just sequences that deforms first layer and re-solves it in a different way. This insight could help others to memorize the sequences using "deform and solve" approach instead memorizing move by move.
I use the intermediate method but i am color neutral which means I make a layer that is not always white, but the fastest to execute or the least number of moves
I have been using intermediate ever since I learned to solve skewb, and I can get sub 4 and 3 averages, and if I'm lucky, I can get a sub 2 single in a session.
I don't do skewb but I average 16 on 3x3 with CFOP (~35/57 OLL and full PLL). At sub-25 you probably have a lot of room for improvement on your F2L and so do I, in fact. Getting better at F2L is not just learning fancy algorithms to avoid rotations, it's mainly improving your efficiency, getting cases in your muscle memory, and practicing look ahead. Now, personally I didn't really focus on look ahead until I was averaging 17 or 18 seconds, but it really helps with getting smoother and faster solves.
@@Purplevids I did ns and then did SA but it’s more recommended to do it Sarah’s advanced first, unless you want to get good fast (sub 3) learn ns first

"theres 134 algorithms"

@@LucasAlfare this also goes for about every other puzzle btw
thank god you told me, I’ve spent the past like 10 minutes trying to figure out the difference between Advanced and NS lmao
I use NS too!
Skewb is fun. I'm between beginner and intermediate, only know about half of the intermediate algs so far.
Same bro
Same
Do you know all now?
Same
same
NS goes one step further, solves the last 2 layers with actual algorithms rather than sledges and hedges in advanced.
fun fact: his skewb got better as the method got better
That fact is not fun ☹️
Hahahha i noticed the same and came to look for this comment!
Thanks to your method I solved a pryaminx in 15 seconds
I love Skewb!
I hate skewb!

Nice
Personally rn im practicing the intermediate method for skewb (im trying to improve on recognizing)
Beginner٫ I learned this morning
I use Sarah's Intermediate and I average around 4-5 seconds!
i know the advanced method as well as a little eg2 layers (like 2x2) and tcll+, but i still average like 5 seconds 😢
It’s can become more advanced with eg2 layers, tcll, pseudo layers
I have been using intermediate ever since I learned to solve skewb, and I can get sub 4 and 3 averages, and if I'm lucky, I can get a sub 2 single in a session.
Legit same, I can’t be bothered learning all those algorithms lol
When I first saw one I thought you could turn the corners like a pyraminx
I know beginners method skews is fun to learn also
Where is advanced sheet I need it and I can’t find it
Sarah's advanced + some ns algs. I average around 2.5
In the method I know, you start with one face, permute the centers, then permute the bottom corners…
where do I learn intermediate method?
Cool! I have too yuxin gigaminx
You have two yuxin gigaminxes? Why?
@@dom3203 weird flex I guess
@@YzuAiha bros gonna be flexing that he has 10 moyu 21x21s smh
Nice!
So I taught myself how to solve it and then learned intermediate and that’s good enough 😂
im between intermediate and advanced
i use sarahs intermediate tho
its like ortega cll eg
I'm beginner method. I got a Skewb only 2 days ago.
I’m learning the intermediate method but I am color neutral.
the Skewb is fun, but HOW DO I DO FINGERTRICKS ON THIS THING
I hdd a a video on my channel try to find it!
I'm at Sarah's Intermediate, I have both a beginner's and Sarah's Intermediate tutorial on my channel.
I learned skewb on my own so none of the above.
Took me 2 years of inconsistent trying to find the solution. Then I looked it up and my next solve was 1:45 lol
Where is NS 2.0 and TCLL?
cant forget eg2 and teg2
@@AshBlack1198 not been fully developed yet
I've been thinking of getting a skewb idk if ill continue solving or solve it once and leave it lol
me who doesnt know how to solve any cubes exepct for a praymix which i solve in 16 minutes: emotinal damage to the 15th level
I like how his skewbs get better for each level
Calculated 😉
Im sub 25 on skewb and on 3x3. Plz give tips for both. On 3x3 i use advanced cfop. On skewb i use first method

NS op, Skewb fun
Yo is the no.2 skewb good for begginers? Im planning on buying it
Absolutely, honestly any magnetic skewb is good for beginners
I only know a method I came up with
Not gonna lie, I learned beginner today
Some one have the link for the 135 alg?
Search for skewb NS algorithms
Is there a tutorial for skewb notations?
Yes! I have one on my channel
i use beginner
I do beginner cuz I barely use my skewb
I just learned the beginner method today, 😂 just conquered my whole collection!

I use NS for skewb so idk guess I’m not advanced enough
