Shaheen Afridi needs to be held accountable for bad behaviour and his role in groupings. However Babar and Rizwan have been heavily involved in groupings as well, played favorites and must face the music. There can be no cherry picking. If we want to dismantle divas and their mafias in the team, all three culprits need to be punished to set the right example. Above all we need fresh selfless leadership to rebuild team unity.
The selection committee needs to be held accountable for poor selection as a whole. Wahab and Razzaq were rightly sacked. But the other selectors are not school kid interns In PCB either. If they can be easily pressured they don’t deserve to be on the panel in the first place.

I think there’s no reason for giving Babar Azam so much hype … He could be a better batsman but he chose his path wrong. He just wants to be a leader, not a batsman. And please don’t compare Babar with Virat. Virat is far far far way better than Babar both mentally, physically and socially and in batting. The quality of Babar and Virat is like comparing a Grade D movie with an Oscar nominated movie. Babar used to have that class to become a good quality batsman and sportsman. My honest opinion: Babar, Rizwan, Shadab, Shaheen, Haris Rauf, iftikhar should be dropped from the team. There performance has been below par.
However, I must say one thing. Shaheen appeared very irresponsible during t20 World Cup and after t20 World Cup. Shaheen roaming at Times Square a day before India match. Videos of him watching his sixes in USA match. Then after World Cup, when he spoke to journalists, he was asked about surgery and he smirked and said kyun koi Bemar hai? Yes bemar hai, Pakistan cricket fans bemaar hain, they have been rendered mentally unstable by your pathetic performance and instead of apologising to fans and country, you are smirking? Same with Babar and Rizwan. Not one player had the decency to apologise to the fans. This team can go to hell. No one cares now.
