Bought the intense on a blind buy because of your review. My initial reaction was old man scent. After an hour of smelling I'm now in love. This scent is very addicting and I usually don't like soap scents.
Next scent I get is this one. Got my nose on it at Nordstrom today and i'm hooked like a fish. I have not found a scent like this one. Yeah it's powdery but it has notes in it that has it standing by itself. Great video Steve! God bless

I then purchased it again and the bottle was broken on a train ride.I was furious in September of 2018.I'm going to try purchasing this a third time and guard it with my life.I love this fragrance. I agree with you on it being a sophisticated fragrance. It reminded me of lavender too.I think that this is a fragrance for a very confident man.It is very different and I love it.You do such a wonderful job of describing the notes and the ingredients fragrances. That's why I enjoy watching your channel.I see the educator in you in your presentations.Thank you very much.

One of my first fragrances. Don't get why ppl say it's soapy. Very sweet to me, and very strong longevity, never get less than 12hrs from this. Haven't reached for it in years, but when I do wear it, it gets compliments.
Great video. I'm wearing this fragrance for the first time today and I'm loving it so far. I'm 7 hours in and still getting hints of it here and there when the wind blows and I can't stop sniffing the pit of my elbow. I only have a 5ml decant, but I think this one is bottle worthy for me. just a wonderful review Steven. Amber Pour Homme is one of the few fragrances I have ever bought on first sniff. It bowled me over. But later it seemed to loose that first love magic. Good news though, I have grown to love it again. It is a fine and lovely addition to my collection. By the way, I noticed an appreciated that you wore colors to reflect the beautiful lavender of the juice. Nice touch! You are always thinking of the entire frame in your reviews, composition of the setup, and not only what you are saying but how our environment looks. I wanted this several years ago, never got it but now I just ordered it and I'll get it this week. What I got from it, is a powdery scent from what I remember.
Just discovered you tonight and I am ever so glad. Your reviews are so thorough. Even though they run long, I find that the time passes speedily, since I get totally enthralled with the details about ingredients and their sources. This one really impressed me. The big plus is that it smells classy. Doesn't get into the room before me. Very gentlemanly sounding. Perfect.

I own this. Great review. Very soapy and clean smelling. Performance is actually very good for an EDT. It's not exceptionally unique but I have yet to smell another one like it. Very safe scent can be worn any time and occasion. I'll always keep this in my collection. I would even say my wife can wear it. It would smell good on anyone, really.
FINALLY! Somebody understands how to rate projection. You rock. I don't always think more projection means better. I agree that Prada Amber's projection isn't big, but for this kind of scent, it's perfect. I'm a fan.
I truly love this scent. Unfortunately it doesnt last very long on my skin but for the time that it does....Absuloutely smooth,clean and a whipser of pretty. I tend to use this out of the shower just to enjoy the clean soapy feeling it gives me. I have occasionally used a spray or 2 on top of another freshie to still get the soapy vibe. My favorite combo Prada Amber and Channel Allure Homme Sport. Creamy soapy lasting goodness.

@@SimeonStt I don't think so, they smell different, the intense version is a darker fragrance, good for the cold weather whereas the original amber pour homme is lighter for the warmer weather. I personally like the smell of the intense version myself

Oh my!!! Blind bought this one. When I smelled it, reminds me of a doctor I know. Damn! This is actually what he is wearing. He is a bit old around 50s. I didn't know that is the cologne he is wearing. Instead of liking it, now I hated it because of an old guy wearing it (doctor).

I would say Prada l'homme smells more luxurious and is more versatile however Prada Amber pour homme is a very good fragrance aswell.both of them are long lasting

Both are good. Prada Amber is a very soapy smell. BDC not as clean smelling but still good.

I don’t think so. Extreme has a denser smell that is more creamy because of the tonka bean

I meant that they don't use real amber in perfumes. They use vanilla and other resins.

My box does say amber pour homme at the front of the box above the ounces. I did just purchase, would that mean its a reform?

My vote goes to Prada Infusion.
This fragrance reminds me of Thallium a bit. Of course, Prada’s ingredients are on the higher end to me though.
