Mirror's Edge tutorial - Atrium 1 time trial

After getting a few requests for it, I'm doing the Atrium time trials now. Not too bad, just try not to mess up a lot.
This is also one of my favorite time trials, I think it's fun to do.
Next will be Atrium 2 and then probably the Shard trials.
Any ideas for what to do after that?

This one was really shit. Overall everything looks simple, but that fuckin mid-section with the pillars at 6:27 was coded with the ass. No matter what you do (wallrun,turn,jump or wallclimb,turn,jump), you have like 70% chance to be unable to jump directly after the first horizontal pillar. If that specific part was not that random, it would have just taken fez tries to get the 3 stars but instead, it took me hours only because of that single part. Funny part is i was 3'32 seconds behind my ghost on the first checkpoint when i got 3 stars for the first time, i almost restarted when i saw i was that late behind but if you pass that shitty section and reach the other checkpoint after directly with a jump,coil, it makes up for the previous and further mistakes.
getting the Superstar achievement has got to be the most epic moment in my gaming history. Such a long and frustrating journey. I wish i knew how many times i died/restarted.
In my opinion this and Actino Rise are harder than Playground 3. I also really struggled with Atrium Two and Actino. Playground 3 wasn't too bad for me. All down to personal preference though. Great tutorial again.
Impossible, can't get to the second checkpoint, she simply will not grab the edge and pull up no matter what I do or how many time I try, she just runs off the edge every, single, time. F this broken crap.

Wow I was just about to buy Mirror's edge on steam for my PC too and suddenly the same exact second it goes on sale for 2.49 for today only.. damn I'm lucky :D
@ratchetgladiatorfan Not really. If anything it should do the opposite because a lot of what she does is not possible for people, like the crazy wallruns. I think the move set is fine. They got all the important stuff in it.

This was very very very hard. I’ve been working on this for two months!
After you wall run onto the platform (at 1:58) you really have to run to the end of that platform before starting your second wall run or else you won’t make it.
And that second jump you do at 3:30 (the faster way to get around), I needed to make it over that seamlessly (wall climb, turn, jump, coil, jump, coil, jump, coil) in order to make the time I did. I was never about to get the “longer” away around to work.
Also I didn’t fall like you did - if I did I definitely wouldn’t have made it.

wow, I totally remember watching your speedruns back when I was trying to get plat for Mirror's Edge. Thanks for the walkthrough, I definitely recall this level being one of the hardest lol. its all about trial and error, and after a bit of memorization its really not that bad
Mirrors Edge was my first Platinum a wile ago on my old account. Maybe i should try to get platinum again on my new account? :D
The other method of doing the really hard wallrun-jump-jump coil thing that you showed at the start is great, I would rather do that!!!!!
dammnnn I had 89 stars, one left for the trophy. This one took me 3 days xD I just gt rly nervous in the last sequence and screwed everything up
that was the last time trial I had to do for the platinum trophy, and I did it! Thank you, ovendonkey, all your tutorials were really helpful ;)
