So he decided to turn off the machines to let her go, stop her sufferings. About dark entities he wrote in diary, it's his depression and illness, everytime he remembers his daughter he's in that dark place in his mind.

Maybe a game where they may even help if you take too long. 🤔 but a simple it gets up and walks away and it leave behind a clue or just to freak you out
