Antonio Diaz has great kata performances. That was a good kata from this second-generation Karate practitioner.

He is a student of the late inoue sensei, who is shito ryu but in places it looks like hayashi ha.
The sashite looks closed almost like shuto uke, not open through the chest.
But he is excellent, there's no disputing it.

I have seen this kata performed this way and a slightly different way in the wkf, can you explain the difference in these two versions Mr. Enkamp? Are they two different styles?

well shitoryu kata in particular has many different versions

Both Shito-Ryu, there is the Inoui-Ha Version (the one in this version) and then there is the Hayashi-Ha Version.
In which both have some minor differences, mainly with timing and what you do with your hands/arms.
