Her dandruff-looking blazer in season 5, the frumpy mom jeans with blazers in season 2, and some of the oversized blazer with pasty makeup that really aged her. But most of the time she destroys it
I did not like the puffy freeform natural long hair during one of the seasons. Otherwise, agree. Gorgeous woman
oh yes she did. The dress designers had everything to do w/ it too. Marc Jacobs (her husband) is a dress designer. Sometimes she looked quite cheap. She's so beautiful and sometimes was made to wear 'cheap' looking clothes, and I'm not talking about price, I'm talking about cheap looks.

I remember watching The Nanny with my mother as a child and loving her clothes. I actually referred to her as “that lady with all the fancy clothes”

I can't believe that Fran's black and white, geometric mod outfit wasn't on this list. Complete with boots, that outfit is one of the most smashing looks in the series. (Also, gotta say... the number 1 pick is a weird one. On the lists of stunning outfits Fran wore on the series, that's one of the most ho-hum. Also... if we're talking iconic red outfits, CC's all red, one piece pant suit with red duster and matching beret from the last season is the iconic red outfit of the series.)
The fact that there’s not a single reference to Fran fine on any variation of drag race is criminal.
The only moment I can recall is Courtney’s Snatch Game as Fran Drescher and that was it💀

This woman was not appreciated enough. She was great in the Nanny, the show was really funny and omg was her fashion iconic. Not to mention how gorgeous she looked.

What I love about her outfits the most is that, although they’re loud, they’re harmonious. They’re coordinating, matched sets, or have running themes. They’re not chaotic and mismatched to emulate her “eccentricities,” there is real style in them.

THIS!!! Altough loud and funny they are VERY well balanced and everything matched!! THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THEM!! In total contrast to Carrie Bradshaw's outfits which a lot of her outfits were a total mismatch mess!! 😥😩😒🤦😂🤣

I met Fran at a Health Convention in DC in March 2018. She was very friendly and happy to autograph my 3rd Season DVD.
And, yes, that voice is REAL!!

OH MY GOD, you have no idea how excited I am to see this! I watched this show so many times as a kid, I can quote each ep! Although, some of her more iconic dresses aren't on here, like the red Valentine double date dress, her Sharon Stone Basic Instinct white halter, the ball gown she wore to almost meet Barbra Streisand, the fur coat paired with her tennis outfit, or even her pastel skirt suits. Fran had the best wardrobe in TV history!

Fran's best outfit is the beautiful dress she wears on the flight back from Paris, when Mr. Sheffield tells her that he loves her. Also needed to be mentioned - white and turquoise sequin off-shoulder dress. Also, the list would have been better if you had mentioned the designers.

That black dress.......Holy shit!! It's like they dressed an actual hourglass. Just gorgeous.
My favorite daytime outfit was a swingy miniskirt that looked like a piano. I can’t remember what shirt she wore with this skirt but she had her signature tights and black heels on with it. I also liked a mini dress she wore that was black with green trim and red pom-poms down the front. This is the outfit where her mother readjusts it to have Fran show off more cleavage for a date. My favorite evening look was either the multicolored striped gown shown in this video in the honorable mentions or a similar gown that was cream and pastel greenish blue stripes that shimmered a bit but in the right light almost looked pleather. Lastly I did kind of like a golden yellow sparkle gown she wore for the retirement party of a nanny friend of hers. That one made her look like high end wrapping paper.

In the season three episode 'the grandmas' Fran has this amazing light green and white check skirt and jacket with gold detailing. That's one of my favourites!

Most of her outfits are Moschino or Todd Oldham. You can find a lot of the Moschino pieces on eBay too!

I didn't watched The Nanny as a child (i was born later 😬). But ever since I was introduced to this show OMG I love her style. Now I use this as an inspiration to dress up a bit every day 💟
I don't think I can recall an episode where she looked bad, even when they roughed her up, still just gorgeous.

Missing from this list are outfits that featured knee length BOOTS which showed off her marvelous legs. . .,almost always in black stockings. When she walked up and down that stairwell, it was amazing how easily she navigated those steps with those stiletto heels and not fall. Fran Drescher could make any runway model come in second place.

My favourite was the piano skirt.....
I am italian and I grew up waitching "La Tata" and I loved it!
But it was traumatic finding out that the Italian version is completely different from the original: Fran Fine = Francesca Cacace (not jewish but 100% Italian from Frosinone), the parents and Yetta = Zia Assunta, Zio Antonio and Zia Yetta, and many many other adaptations...
Many things did not make any sense between the Italian dialogues and the locations, but this show was and still is ICONIC!!!
Why do not they pass it on again on TV????

I haven’t watched it on HBOMax yet, I love the graininess of the reruns, but it’s definitely in my que! I love that it’s found a new audience today, it’s such a great show.
