@@millyhunter I recommend checking out Ari’s take blog or his book “how to make it in the new music business” (and his podcast of the same name). Honestly I don’t have that many tips - I’ve been lucky enough to know some people who have asked me to play! So I guess that’s my advice is to try and make some connections with musicians in your genre where you live :) But Ari’s take is super helpful, def check it out. Good luck!
@@lunr_girl mainly the sealegs reverb and delay, it sounds almost granular. i’d love to see you play with the knobs and settings as you go. absolutely love the sound you’ve found yourself in!
@@thesantisilva ahh I see! yeah I wish I had a top-down camera angle to show… sorry about that. I’ll try and get that going for future videos soon. as far as I can remember I had the sealegs on the tape delay type with feedback about halfway up and time at about 1/3 up. I think the thing that makes it sound granular is when I press “freeze” and it just gets caught in a loop. Honestly the sealegs is magic and it’s almost impossible not to make a lovely lush sound with it! hope that’s helpful. Lmk if you have more questions :)
Lovely! x
thank you! happy you think so ☺️
Perfect to help me get through the admin work of my afternoon. Thanks!💙

the electric guitar is a nice touch, makes it sound a bit shoegazey
@@paulmulligan2895 happy to hear it, thank you!
Sounds amazing ❤ Is that an analog synth you're tweaking in the beginning? Which one? It sounds sooo good 👌
aw thank you ☺️✨ yep in the beginning it’s the Intellijel atlantis (not Atlantix) through the Intellijel sealegs :)
sounds amazing!! could you do a rundown of those crazy effects?
@@thesantisilva thanks so much! Ooo sure I’d be happy to! Which effects/part of the performance are you thinking in particular?

@@lunr_girl That is all, thank you so much for being so responsive. Looking forward to your future stuff
@@thesantisilva my pleasure, thanks for asking! glad it could help. And thanks for your support!
WOW! That sustained pad in the very beginning...is that reverb coming from the Push?
@@electracousticcinema nope that’s all the Atlantis and the sealegs - mostly the sealegs for creating that sustained pad :)
@@lunr_girl Thanks. Will the Push create that sort of reverb? I'm thinking of getting one.
@@electracousticcinema I’m sure you could string together some ableton delays and reverbs to create something similar!
