I would love if the throughline with all the Kangs is that they ultimately need to be the one pulling the strings (with no partners), like how every Dr. Strange needs to be the one holding the knife, or that Loki always has to lose to make others better. The idea that Victor Timely has that buried somewhere deep within him is fascinating and has so much story potential. It seems like they're setting that up in that the only person he trusted was a disembodied AI.

I would love if Timely stayed around with the good guys after this season, he is so interesting and I really want to see more of him Imagine him talking to an evil variant of Kang, twisting the audience's mind with a speech about time, chaos and order, free will, etcetera
This episode really gave us a sense of what it means to have a character like Kang in the MCU. Multiple times we have seen different versions of him doing different things each time. Giving us points of view from each character and what their mindset is. Favorite episode so far, can’t wait to see what we get next.
Finished watching the third episode a few minutes ago and from the looks of it Victor Timely is the key to set the whole soft reboot in the MCU with him fixing the loom in the TVA. Also I feel not all variants of Kang are bad where some like Victor Timely could be an ally.
Don’t forget ab the person who pruned loki and Sylvia being in the elevator when the TVA was having a bigger meltdown. Ravonna and Ms minutes being at the end of time could play a fact
Another thing I liked was getting to see a different side of Miss Minutes voiced by the talented Tara Strong. The information and power that she holds can change the course of time in a snap. If Renslayer's secret is that dark, definitely a rude awakening is coming.
I do have to say I was not expecting that bit of Norse nostalgia with Loki. It makes me think Loki (the character) will have some development in that front - a much welcomed one, might I say.
It’s so weird that even in real life we’re trying to figure out if JM is a good guy just like they’re trying to do in the show, kind of a creepy coincidence
It's crazy we finally get the whole Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania post credit scene in the 3rd episode of Loki season 2. They do a good job of that dovetailing after the events of Ant-Man 3.
Victor Timely, Miss Minutes and Sylvie are all tragic victims of the original Kang in many ways. Miss Minutes because all she wanted from Kang was love, which being the evil bastard he is used that to ensure her loyalty and nothing else. Sylvie because like Victor, she is a variant who had her life ruined because she wanted break the cycle and be a good person. And Victor because he is much like Leonardo Da Vinci or Nikola Tesla, a genius ahead of his time who wants to genuinely make the world a better place, but is a victim of forces beyond his control, just like Sylvie. Also I honestly never thought we would ever get a mention of Thor’s REAL BIOLOGICAL BROTHER BALDER! Aside from God Of War 2018 he NEVER gets mentioned in any mainstream franchise.
Kang didn't get taken out by ants, modok was made of Kang's technology. Modok had the power to disrupt that type of tech, when you see him taking out krylar ship with Hank in it. The shield went down and he got trampled by hulk strength ants. That makes a lot of sense to me, if you really think about it in a positive light. Kang being defeated doesn't mean he was wasted, what that means to me is that you should be very afraid for the pym and lang family coming real soon.
this episode is definitely one of my favorites. it took its time, and gave us so much, while also adding even more of a “looming threat” type of feel to events involving kang, ravonna and even ms. minutes
The way this show frames things, especially the place at the end of the episode, it makes everything feel so massive in scale and haunting. I absolutely loved this episode
I’m thinking that we’re gonna find out that this isn’t the first time he who remains has died and that he always makes a contingency leading to a new He who remains and a memory wiped/rest new TVA
@@shadowx8145 yes but that was just another Kang variant, im thinking each He who remains set up a plan so a new specifically “he who remains” variant can take over after his death
I think Hiddleston is surrounded by such larger than life performances, Majors, Miss Minutes, Owen Wilson becoming as you said Owen Wilson...that it doesn't leave as much room for Loki to be larger than life too. It would almost be too much. I like how he's clamed down thus far as a part of his arc.
@DrVonJay yeah.. maybe a bit of his trickster ways would be fun to see. I think we will see that moving forward. I've really enjoyed the character development of all the characters and I think his calming down has been part of his arc. Actually, the character deep dives in many of these Marvel shows, that they are unable to do in a 2 hour movie, are my favorite things about Marvel's foray onto Disney+ series TV. When they lean into character these shows really shine.
I do think Renslayer was partners with He Who Remains, and they had a disagreement or something that led to him kicking her out and wiping her memory. I also think she was that 4th statue in the Citadel that He Who Remains destroyed in frustration at her
And thinking about what's happening with Janathan Majors at the moment, I feel like the part of the script that talks about Victor Timbley. How to feel seeing yourself as someone... who, among the words, can be another type of person, more trusting and genuinely distressed by situations that put them in constant doubt. It was as if they were literally trying to see what Jonathan Majors is like in both fiction and reality!
Not only that but who ravonna has always been. She’s destined to fall in love with kang over and over again and then die in a way that kang can not prevent
I was shocked by how much I loved Victor Timely, he is similar to He Who Remains and Kang from Quantumania But He is an innocent man, excited about the things he can do with his creativity, and I just loved how he stutters, it gives him an extra personality, and it also brings him closer to the audience, at least it gave me that feeling, because I stutter a lot, it's not even because of a speech problem or anything, it's just that when I get excited I say a lot of things very quickly, then I stutter a lot
I think this fully proves the new Rockstar theory that time is a loop specfically the time we are seeing in relation to the tva and kang, this variant, Victor Timely, is the version of He who remains we saw in season 1, at the point we saw him he had already accomplished his goals and now we're seeing his journey to become that. It's a pretty trippy thing to wrap your mind, around considering we typically view time as being linear and chronological and always moving towards the future but everything we are seeing supports the theory of an infinite time loop, really excited to see how the rest of the season plays out and what this means for the greater mcu
I love the design of Miss Minutes. She's a perfect example of what you can do with a character which is very obviously CGI, if you just take a step back and think about it. So far, I can't think of a single shot where Miss Minutes doesn't look like she's actually in the shot, rather than added in post. And they've managed to do that with a character who is a hologram *_in the show!_* The correct use of filters can work wonders. It kind of blows my mind how good it looks.
Loves this episode. At the ending I wonder if this might be where they draw a story from the comics. Renslayer was used for control over Alioth? Then turn him onto the TVA. This show can go in any direction.
It’s weird how pretty much every version of Kang we have seen has been held hostage. And the one from Antman was banished… the one who is supposed to control everything gets continuously controlled by everyone else 💀
On some real, did anyone else think that the prototype that Victor Timely needed to grab @20:52 looked a LOT like the device Kang used to travel between dimensions? You know, the chair he sits in that powers all his personal tech?
Also Data from Goonies went on to become OB where he followed his dreams to becoming an inventor. Also we get to see Kang's invention of the pruning device in his TVA handbook.
I really do like the way miss mins went from being a fun lil AI, to being this menacing presence who can be just as bad as kang or worse. Also this ep was dope 👌
I love how the when Renslayer was in the scarred timeline the moment she gave the book to kid Kang it instantly branched. Love the continuity and attention to detail
I love everyones acting in this episode, no matter what you think about Jonathan Majors in real life (i feel personally that he is innocent but whatever you believe i respect) he does an amazing job as an actor as victor timely, & this is the MCU I have been missing
Bravo!!!! Bravo!!!👏🏽👏🏽 Jonathan majors is so far 3/3 playing himself. Marvel made a smart decision in keeping him. Best actor in the MCU right now 💯💯🔥🔥
I usually watch these shows alone but seeing this video makes me feel like I’m right there with u guys. Enjoying the show amongst my people. All my other friends act like they’re too cool for school. Thank you for the experience!!
I love how people act like they care about this universe but they only care about important plot points that future the narrative. Nobody reacts to in universe rules like I would hope super fans would pick up on. Victor clearly saw his own variant future, because some dreams can be windows in to other multiverses. Also without the ANTMAN Quantumania Kang most of the general audience couldn't/wouldn't picture or realize who we are building to. So glad ANTMAN gave us the Kang I want to see tho, BRING IT ON MARVEL. Y'ALL HAVE BEEN MAKING DADDY PROUD.
Once again I completely agree with you guys! Another fantastic episode in my opinion. The setting was delightful and the mystery of what’s going on with He Who Remains’s plan and his two girls is exactly what this season needed heading into the second act. Can’t wait for more 💚
Truly the best show and story in the whole MCU, love this show so much and thank you for reacting so I can watch it because I don’t have anything I can watch it on 😢
YES ! I called it last week ! That Victor Timely would be the origin story of He Who Remains, and that in some way shape of form, OB would be the central catalyst of him "finding" his theories about all the TVA tech and how to build it. Also, what do you mean, Greg, not enough Loki in the series ? He did terrible, awful things last week. Weren't you entertained, when he made that big ass dude disappear in a puff of smoke ? "The amazing Loki, everyone, he'll be here all week !" Also, a standout moment of the episode was that little moment he had in front of the statues of Asgard, when he has this little minute of silence and the faint echo of Asgard's theme sounds in the distance. It was a very brief and quiet moment, but it was absolutely a Loki moment where you could delve deep in his emotional state. At this point, it might have been only just a few days since the battle of New York, to him, but for us, the last time we saw Loki with Thor, it was 5 years ago, in Infinity War ! And goddamn, what a last scene for them to go through... And this Loki variant has seen how it ended, so obviously, he's been pretty wrecked by it, and misses his brother and his family dearly, knowing he might never see them again.
I love the music in this episode and the camera movement is so good I love how funny mobius is,how good the story is,and how much is at stake ,I love this season and show and I hope it stays as good as the three episodes😮😊🎉
I think He Who Remains has captured the Kang that created this all into O.B. maybe just like Hydra kept Zola AI alive as a computer Program, same way He Who Remains did to Kang, but unlike Miss Minutes he gave him a physical body, and wiped the memories accordingly. O.B. definitely has a very very important role to play here.
This episode makes me excited about the Multiversal aspect of storytelling in Marvel movies MUCH more than seeing random characters for 6 minutes in pure fan service.
With Renslayer now giving the TVA manual to young Timely who then creates the TVA, it brings even more meaning to OB's full name, Ouroboros. Time really IS circular.
I love that Greg is trying to defend an 8.9 score which is a very decent grading 😂 I love the interaction between you guys and I am loving Loki. The tag line should be 'Loki saves the Marvel Universe' 🎉
I absolutely loved this episode! Everything about it felt so perfect. Every scene and moment was just so amazing! I thought that the writing was incredible, the acting was incredible, and the tone was perfect. All throughout this episode I was curious about what was going to happen next and it just had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire episode. This show’s story already has me fully invested and interested to learn more about this shows plot as it unfolds. And I was amazed at just how incredible the music for this episode was, I just really liked all the late 1800’s style versions of the Loki themes. I’m so glad that they brought Natalie Holt back to do this show’s score. And each actor was giving a fantastic performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. And I loved the set design for this episode. I’m so glad that they decided to go full in with the late 1800’s aesthetic, all the buildings, different locations and overall atmosphere felt so accurate and realistic to what that time period would have been. I loved getting to see Loki and Mobius doing more stuff together again. Seeing them do all these different things together (especially at the Worlds Fair) throughout this episode really reminded me of all the times they did stuff like this in season 1. Also I’m really loving the way that they are building up the TVA Guidebook for something. In every episode so far it has been an important tool to be used for either the plot or by a specific character. I’m very curious to see what the true significance of the book will be and what its impact it will have on the story. And I’ve got a bit of a theory that the reason He Who Remains never erased O.B.’s memory is because he knew he would need O.B. to write the TVA Guidebook so that He Who Remained could have it sent to his past self and use it to help in his journey of creating the TVA. Now, I’ve got to talk about Jonathan Majors’ incredible performance as Victor Timely. He has completely sold me on this character and I really cannot wait to see him continue to portray the character throughout the rest of this season. I loved the way how he wasn’t the manipulative and malevolent villain that Loki assumed he would be. But instead he came off as this awkward, stuttering and innocent man who has to use his inventions and ability for swindling to make his way through life. You could really feel every one of his various emotions throughout every one of his scenes. All around I think that Jonathan Majors was just doing such a fantastic job with this character. I feel like after just his first episode he has so much potential and there are just so many things they can do with this character throughout the course of the season and I can’t wait to learn and see more of his. It was also really cool to get to see Ravonna again, especially with how her first scene picks right up where her last scene from season 1 left off. I also really liked all the interactions she had with other characters throughout this episode, whether it was her chemistry with Victor Timely or her reunion with Mobius. And after this episode, I have a really strong feeling that Miss Minutes will be more of antagonistic than we all first thought. All throughout this episode I was feeling really weird vibes from her, especially when she was around Victor Timely and when she talked about He Who Remains. But then in the end when she implied that she wanted a real body so that she could be his lover it just took her character to a whole new level, specifically a creepy and disturbed one. I don’t know what they have planned for her in this season but after this episode I am very curious to see how it all plays out. Also I don’t know why, but Sylvie being in this episode was a big surprise to me. Despite there being trailer footage of her and Victor Timely together from this episode, it was just a really big surprise to me for her to just pop in. But I’m so glad that she was here because that scene near the end of the episode between her and Victor Timely where she decides to let him live was amazing. Both the actors performances were amazing and the scene itself was so tense and emotional. I can’t wait to see where the end of this episode will lead into next week’s episode. I am very curious to see how this episodes events will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. I am really loving everything about this new season so far and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode.
I hope for some way we see a Loki transition moment for his whole career in MCU . When we get shown the moment he stops forever being seen as a villain , maybe an interaction with Thor or something ??? Just seems that so far an OMG moment is coming that shapes the future of this phase ….

He Who Remains said it himself, some of his variants are good people.... but not enough.
@@WeAreTheBentusiyeah, they may have good intentions, but those good intentions still eventually has to end up witb them in power.
Iron Lad was a Kang variant and he was a good guy.
No
I wanted Jonathan Majors to be casted as Blue Marvel originally but the range he shows with Kang is incredible.
Another thing I liked was getting to see a different side of Miss Minutes voiced by the talented Tara Strong. The information and power that she holds can change the course of time in a snap. If Renslayer's secret is that dark, definitely a rude awakening is coming.
I half wonder if Renslayer might be a Kang Variant.
@@foulrotlike Sylvie you mean?
His female variant
@@newday1820 Sylvie is Loki's Variant, not Kang's; I think Renslayer is a Kang Variant, that's why he attempted to lead with her at some point.

I do have to say I was not expecting that bit of Norse nostalgia with Loki. It makes me think Loki (the character) will have some development in that front - a much welcomed one, might I say.
Tara Strong as Miss Minutes proves once again why she is one of the greatest voice actors OF ALL TIME!
Not sure who they got but I believe that isn't Tara Strong.

I will say this much...after watching Loki S2:E3 I can TOTALLY see why Disney/Marvel doesn't want to have to get rid of JM if they don't have to!
It will ruin everything if they get rid of him. I love JM the very first time he made appearance in MCU.
+Brook11223
What's more crazy is that Greg and Jon complained about the Quantumania post-credit scene without context.
This is my favorite episode so far. The parts with Ms. Minutes had me absolutely ROLLING!
Victor might still be good. I was thinking Ravonna would recruit him and he would later help out Loki and Mobius...but idk what they're gonna do now.

People don't really understand storytelling.
@@thealjohnsonshow2188More like they don't pay attention much
This episode was a different level of quality to anything we've seen from MCU series so far. It was on another level. So good.
this episode is definitely one of my favorites. it took its time, and gave us so much, while also adding even more of a “looming threat” type of feel to events involving kang, ravonna and even ms. minutes
the loom is looming
The way this show frames things, especially the place at the end of the episode, it makes everything feel so massive in scale and haunting. I absolutely loved this episode
I’m thinking that we’re gonna find out that this isn’t the first time he who remains has died and that he always makes a contingency leading to a new He who remains and a memory wiped/rest new TVA
dannydashtv9418 This is Kang’s character to a tee. The guy is a living time paradox

I would love to see him tap into his chaos and villainy to take on one of the varients. To me that would be one of the best heated showdowns
He’s been sidelined and slandered in his own show.. again.
@ZyliceLiddell the finale made up for it. Wow what a performance from Hiddleston. Give him the emmy now.
I like how different this season is. I'm really enjoying it.
You guys do a great job and let me enjoy the episode a second time.
I do think Renslayer was partners with He Who Remains, and they had a disagreement or something that led to him kicking her out and wiping her memory. I also think she was that 4th statue in the Citadel that He Who Remains destroyed in frustration at her
Jonathon Majors having *all* the fun - and me having all the fun watching him.
You guys are doing awesome. Love the different perspectives.
Not quite enough Loki-ness.... but there's still a possibility of the many Lokis coming into play. Glorious Purpose!
I opened RUclips and was about to search for this video and it was already right there for me. W algorithm
My theory is that miss minutes convinced he who remains to erased Ravonna renslayer memory because miss minutes love him
Not only that but who ravonna has always been. She’s destined to fall in love with kang over and over again and then die in a way that kang can not prevent
No shit lol
DANNNNNG. THIS WAS GOOD!! MS. MINUTES WENT SUPER DARK. DIABOLICAL!
I literally kept wondering where is this going... Wow!!!
This episode was fire. Had me thinking I figured out something big like every 5 mins. Seems like they have a good grasp on time travel logic
YO! What a friggin' awesome episode! Jonathan Majors killed it. Miss Minutes was CREEPY!!!!!!!!!! She has to be some variant of Ravona!
I was shocked by how much I loved Victor Timely, he is similar to He Who Remains and Kang from Quantumania
But
He is an innocent man, excited about the things he can do with his creativity, and I just loved how he stutters, it gives him an extra personality, and it also brings him closer to the audience, at least it gave me that feeling, because I stutter a lot, it's not even because of a speech problem or anything, it's just that when I get excited I say a lot of things very quickly, then I stutter a lot
What
Why would she be a variety of ravona? She's a fucking ai
@@InueShizaki Exactly. I love Victor Timely.
@@marcuselvard5922 yay
I think this fully proves the new Rockstar theory that time is a loop specfically the time we are seeing in relation to the tva and kang, this variant, Victor Timely, is the version of He who remains we saw in season 1, at the point we saw him he had already accomplished his goals and now we're seeing his journey to become that. It's a pretty trippy thing to wrap your mind, around considering we typically view time as being linear and chronological and always moving towards the future but everything we are seeing supports the theory of an infinite time loop, really excited to see how the rest of the season plays out and what this means for the greater mcu
Jonathan Major's acting is fabulous 🔥🔥
First as in He Who Remains,
Second as in Kang and
Now Victor Timely 👏
+nomercy4186
It's almost like it's part of the plan.
On some real, did anyone else think that the prototype that Victor Timely needed to grab @20:52 looked a LOT like the device Kang used to travel between dimensions? You know, the chair he sits in that powers all his personal tech?
That's the first thing I thought when I saw it.
Clearly
Jonathan Majors is an incredible actor. This I think is the 6th version that has had dialogue and they all feel different
Also Data from Goonies went on to become OB where he followed his dreams to becoming an inventor. Also we get to see Kang's invention of the pruning device in his TVA handbook.
Another fantastic episode. The whole plot and everything they did with the characters was so good! Awesome seeing he who remains just rotting away too
I really do like the way miss mins went from being a fun lil AI, to being this menacing presence who can be just as bad as kang or worse. Also this ep was dope 👌
Absolutely loved this episode.... this show makes me care about Marvel again
I love how the when Renslayer was in the scarred timeline the moment she gave the book to kid Kang it instantly branched. Love the continuity and attention to detail
This was my favorite episode, yet. I was so intrigued by everything that went on!!!
Best actor in the MCU right now 💯💯🔥🔥
I wasn't even done with the episode when I got the notification about this video. Damn! You guys work fast
Timely’s ‘greatest creation’ looks an awwefulll lot like Kangs sphere ship thing from Quantumania
I love it Ms. Minutes is so damn JELLY the entire episode. Great stuff!!!
Jeez, Jonathan Majors speaks SO slowly!😂 He only speaks like 3 words at a time so I'm just waiting for him to form a complete sentence! XD
Man it's great that Daniel Craig's Balder the Brave exists in the multiverse.
Ravona says partnership
Victor: "why did you say that word!"

7:51 "oh my God the scene" yeah I noticed immediately
"The amazing Loki, everyone, he'll be here all week !"
Also, a standout moment of the episode was that little moment he had in front of the statues of Asgard, when he has this little minute of silence and the faint echo of Asgard's theme sounds in the distance.
Love Victor Timely innocence. Hope he is in good team all the time.
I love the music in this episode and the camera movement is so good I love how funny mobius is,how good the story is,and how much is at stake ,I love this season and show and I hope it stays as good as the three episodes😮😊🎉
Miss Minutes was like: “Give me a body and I’ll give you ALL the time” with her freaky self 😂
I think He Who Remains has captured the Kang that created this all into O.B.
maybe just like Hydra kept Zola AI alive as a computer Program, same way He Who Remains did to Kang, but unlike Miss Minutes he gave him a physical body, and wiped the memories accordingly.
O.B. definitely has a very very important role to play here.
jonathan majors was absolutely incredible in this episode dude holyyyy
This episode makes me excited about the Multiversal aspect of storytelling in Marvel movies MUCH more than seeing random characters for 6 minutes in pure fan service.
With Renslayer now giving the TVA manual to young Timely who then creates the TVA, it brings even more meaning to OB's full name, Ouroboros. Time really IS circular.
Jonathan Majors as Victor Timely is so good😂
my god jonathan majors knows how to act
I love that Greg is trying to defend an 8.9 score which is a very decent grading 😂
I love the interaction between you guys and I am loving Loki.
The tag line should be 'Loki saves the Marvel Universe' 🎉
5:09 they're both standing literally in front of the window where little Victor is reading the TVA manual.
I loved that Loki's respect for Victor increased when he realized that he was a con man.
This was the best episode of Doctor Who in ages
😂
i will never get enough of Loki using his magic
Victor Timely: Dreamer, Inventor, Innovator, Loner, Luminary, Disruptor, Visionary with a quivering persona and quavering voice.
