You should buy and hold tech stocks.

The dollar is losing about 2-3% each year, I wouldn't put more than 10% of my worth in Bitcoin, though, I'd say it's a pretty good investment, banks and institutions are really starting to warm up to bitcoin. It's only going up and to the right.

BTW only innovation here is the concept of block chain and the tech can be applied to anything. SS numbers, driver licenses, and the list goes on. I already see many flaws when its applied to money. The Great depression is one example. We had the Gold standard back then and it crushed the country because we had zero flexibility in our currency. Now we have keynesian economics in place. You should educate yourself on the concept of money before you invest your hard earn money. You spent all your life earning it.

@@Cuplex1 Bitcoin "by design" was created to scale. It originally had a self adjusting block size. There were security concerns (aka attack vectors) that caused Satoshi to set the block size at a specific size. Even then, it was supposed to be increased as needed/technology allowed. Unfortunately the Dev's have decided otherwise. This decision is not due to technical issues. Fortunately, even without scaling, it can still serve as a store of value.

Gold is a "commodity money" in some literature. And the ETF version of this is GLD, among others. BTC also has its "ETF-like" version that you can put inside a retirement account which can grow tax-free at least in the US, albeit with a bit higher expense ratio.

Depending on which time frames you use in Google Trends it will display differently. I used 2004 - present time frame and as of today January 2021 it displayed a partial values for interest over time as 57 which is a significant increase from September 2020 which was only 8. I see a bubble forming.

All of these guru investors who are sounding alarm bells about bitcoin being a bubble or being a scam are also the largest investors in bitcoin. They want to scare you out of the market so they can buy more of it for cheap, and have more control over it.
but if they scare too many people, don't all these coins they've spent their money on just become worthless? Making your theory sound very strange.
If i was one of the "largest guru" investors, I would be owning a bunch of bitcoin, to the point that it would significantly hurt me if i didn't sell high (since i am a 'guru' and im definitely investing a lot), i would tell everyone to hype it up so that i can sell high and avoid risk. Why spread news to keep Bitcoin low so i can buy from let's say 100 coins to 200 coins, when i just hype it up so much and make the price go 2x instead (such as what we just saw this past month), making my 100 coins worth the same as 200 coins AND without spending the money to purchase another 100 coins at current pricing? That way i get a much nicer internal rate of return.
*Also, if they REALLY wanted to buy low and truly believes in Bitcoin, they have had PLENTY of time and opportunity to do so* its been flat for so so so long. They could have done so way earlier and just stock up on the coins....

@@ZDY66666 I think he meant to say that these institutional investors and "gurus" slept on BTC and other ctyprocurrencies in late 2017, so they started calling it a bubble, while at least some of them knew the potential cryptocurrencies have, so when the price plummeted, they bought.
Bitcoin enables certain uses that are very unique.i think it offers possibilities that no other currency allows. For example the ability to spend a coin that only occurs when two separate parties agree to spend the coin, with a third party that couldn't run away with the coin itself.
