We had a nexon which had instrument cluster issues and it took them 6 months to figure out why the car would stop working in the middle of nowhere, we sold that shit car and bought a slavia

As a ford owner i am happy with my decision to buy the car few years back when the make in india propaganda is on full swing, i knew back then these companies can't beat the American and german counterpart in every aspect be it driving dynamics,after sale service, and now seeing this issues i feel bad for the new owners who are trusting these cheap brands.

I own a Tigor XT 2018 , trust me it has never faced any issues. The thing is during 2015-2020 , tata was working their best to compete with hyundai and maruti thats why cars during that time barely had problems. But since 2021 , ever since people started to be vocal for local , Tata cars started selling just because they are indian brand. Ever since then Tata's quality and service has depreciated. They know people will buy their cars in the name of Vocal for Local. I feel bad for new Tata owners

We have a maruti zen (2004) 160k kms on odo and a creta 2021 around 40k on odo, not even a single problem,the zen still runs like a charm, creta is the segment best, never faced any issues, tata fanboys chahe jo kahe, but these companies manufacture one of the most reliable cars in terms of not just mechanicals but also in terms of electronics. Bhai jiski pehli car maruti suzuki hoti hai, uski expectations badh jaati hain in terms of aftersales service amd reliability.
Agree with you on the Zen. It is a great car until it keeps running, but the thing is its spares are no longer produced by Maruti and even non-genuine spares for it are hard to find. Enjoy it until it runs!

I believe all the new facelift tata cars like nexon/harrier/safari facelift which have new updated infotainment and MID screens are released with less R&D and testing. These cars are now more dependent on electronics and fancy features. I own pre-facelift tata nexon top model 2022 and have never faced any issues.

😮 This is why I'm booking XUV 700 AWD this season. Mahindra also has some issues here n there but it's no where close to the Tata's Mega Glitch ⛰ of Problems in all their new gen cars. I had tiago in past, worked fine, currently using creta and is planning to upgrade to either safari or xuv, heart likes safari but for a family car with reliability and performance and most importantly Peace of mind I have finalized XUV 700 AWD 😊 I was confused btwn Used MG Gloster vs New XUV 700 AXL AWD but now XUV 700 is final, I hope everything works out well 👍
I drive a 2012 Xylo mhawk model, done numerous highway tours, never faced any malfunction issue. It has less gizmos as compared to the current space shuttle auto cars but it does give a peace of mind while I am driving. Tata has lost one of its USP: spacious interiors and has loaded their cars with non-working electronic equipments. Wish you all a safe drive.
Same Happened With Me In My 1 month Safari New After Just 27KM My Car Breakdown . Same Warnings And Key Out Of Range . But The Showroom Staff Was Good The Instantly Came And There Was A Minor Issue In Battery . It Got Resolved

The issue with TATA cars is that it has too much electricals then it requires everything is electrical based that's why it breaks down quite often and because of this complex nature Service centers cannot provide adequate service as they don't have any idea about the complex electrical parts, The best way they can reduce this is by providing lesser electricals and more physical buttons or providing analogue system even though its dated but its a reliable system.
Reason why Tata is investing on EVs is because they know they cannot survive in ICE category. However, their EVs are also highly unreliable with almost 50-60% requiring battery replacement. Not sure why this is not being understood by consumers. STAY AWAY FROM TATA ICE AND EVS. Lets Maruti, Hyundai, MG, BYD jump in EV segment and then Tata will be doomed. Tata is focusing on Looks, Features, Touch Screen but not on engineering of main aspects. It hows that Tata knows that what actually Indian customer wants.
As a tiago AMT owner, I can confirm that once Tata cars develop any problem, then it can't be rectified by the service centres. The service centre people just deploy hit and trial method and if you are lucky your issue will get resolved otherwise learn to live with it or sell the car.
It's true that new face-lift have problem but not to tata motors extend now you should do a check on the local tata deliership do they do scam or add virtual parts 😅😅😅😅 bill 70k tata big problem is service center and delirship
Last and final resolution: TATA Motors should fire the current set of engineers and hire new engineers with clear cut QC expectations. Next: Try closing the contracts with the existing Dealers and create a Team to look over the new Dealers performance for a year and based on customer feedback extended the contract

I am not sure about it but if there are so many problems with TATA cars then how come we Indians are buying it. We Indians are very practical. We always buy products which are value for money. However, one thing that is very common now across all the car companies is that newer cars have more problems than the older generations as companies are being forced to provide features among which some are useful while others gimmicky type without even testing them properly resulting in poor quality overall. Those who are truly TATA owners must be knowing it better about them compared to people who don't own them.

😮 This is why I'm booking XUV 700 AWD this season. Mahindra also has some issues here n there but it's no where close to the Tata's Mega Glitch ⛰ of Problems in all their new gen cars. I had tiago in past, worked fine, currently using creta and is planning to upgrade to either safari or xuv, heart likes safari but for a family car with reliability and performance and most importantly Peace of mind I have finalized XUV 700 AWD 😊 I was confused btwn Used MG Gloster vs New XUV 700 AXL AWD but now XUV 700 is final, I hope everything works out well 👍

I drive a 2012 Xylo mhawk model, done numerous highway tours, never faced any malfunction issue. It has less gizmos as compared to the current space shuttle auto cars but it does give a peace of mind while I am driving. Tata has lost one of its USP: spacious interiors and has loaded their cars with non-working electronic equipments. Wish you all a safe drive.
Same Happened With Me In My 1 month Safari New After Just 27KM My Car Breakdown . Same Warnings And Key Out Of Range . But The Showroom Staff Was Good The Instantly Came And There Was A Minor Issue In Battery . It Got Resolved

The issue with TATA cars is that it has too much electricals then it requires everything is electrical based that's why it breaks down quite often and because of this complex nature Service centers cannot provide adequate service as they don't have any idea about the complex electrical parts, The best way they can reduce this is by providing lesser electricals and more physical buttons or providing analogue system even though its dated but its a reliable system.

As a tiago AMT owner, I can confirm that once Tata cars develop any problem, then it can't be rectified by the service centres. The service centre people just deploy hit and trial method and if you are lucky your issue will get resolved otherwise learn to live with it or sell the car.

I am not sure about it but if there are so many problems with TATA cars then how come we Indians are buying it. We Indians are very practical. We always buy products which are value for money. However, one thing that is very common now across all the car companies is that newer cars have more problems than the older generations as companies are being forced to provide features among which some are useful while others gimmicky type without even testing them properly resulting in poor quality overall. Those who are truly TATA owners must be knowing it better about them compared to people who don't own them.
