First I ever heard of this game, and after 1:43:56.....i'm asking myself, how have i sat here watching a pixel man mine by hand and pick axe. The game depth from what your describing is intriguing. Only crit i have is there's too much talk about what is coming to the game...eventually, and not enough on plans for using systems and assets of the current build. But that is so minor, i don't have issue returning to the video now....might be back

lots of potential this game.. I like the idea of town Centre and a few tracks into remote areas. I'd like to see plots of lands for sale and I'd like to see a way of surveying the land prior to purchase or end up with a lemon with poor resources

it would be nice to see randomly roaming animals, not for hunting or anything survival based but it would be nice to see them slowly return on reclamated pits
I know I'm late to the comments but, hear me out. Hard-core mode is Rp/ Divorce mode.lose divorce ,lose job, liquidate all assets and you are left with drum roll please..$100000, hardcore indeed

First off... Really enjoyed this content. I do have a couple questions and or comments for you. Hopefully you can set me straight on some Gold Rush questions. Just wanted to ask on your most recent upload. I have logged according to Steam 2263 hours on GR the game. Yea I didn't realize it was that many myself. Began playing that game around launch. Anyway... in the above video you mentioned playing GR in Leaderboards. At the 1:49:10 mark you mention the 'frontend loader from the bottom up' game play as being the best. Here's my question and you definitely seem to be the one to put this baby to rest. I heard early on in my play in GR the frontend loader had a 'gold glitch' in that it did not hmmmm how to say it... calculate or give as much gold as it should. I never saved a game and dug out a square with the excavator and then restarted and dug the same square with the front loader. Was that ever addressed? Was it ever really a bug? I did want to describe my strat for Leaderboards and have you review it if possible. Obviously dig out your roughly 30 ounces of nuggets at your small dig site. I then immediately rent a drill and get my what I think is 1200 ounces of nuggets before anything else. At this point doing the smelting really sucks but we do what we have to right? Then i pretty much just rent the tier 5 wash plant, trommel and jigs. I never started with the frontend loader because i was always concerned about the aforementioned bug. Anyway, the name of the game is to process dirt not to see how much money u have in the bank at the end of the leaderboard. Oh and lastly... It would be nice if they had a stat that broke down gold per hour you are playing. Not just mining but for the hours you actually played that board. I work full time and can't in anyway shape or form sit down and play for hours and hours and hours. Did I mention hours? :P Hope you find the time to respond. Love the Content keep it up!
first off thanks for the comment. the loader myth as i like to call it. digging from the bottom or on the wall face from the top down does give you less gold overall Excavator OR loader. you will lose dirt overall on the map and blast through the claim way faster then needed. loader also is balance to give less gold because it is so overpowered when paired with frank. good loader player with franks and full t5 can hit easy 5k yards per in game day with out blinking a eye. and if you hit the wall face in sections you can get more dirt out of the claim. meaning you don't have to reset as much. yardage always beats gold loss if you are pushing over 4000 yards avg per day. i use to run around 2500-3500 gold per hour on night hawk. doing this. thats on the old seasons were the gold was so low compared to the 5x more gold in the ground how it is now. about the leaderboards and time Go for seasonal total that is a set amount of time that really shows how good you are max gold is for players who can just sit and play 24/7 and really does not show skill.
The game definitely has a lot of potential. I'm going to buy both the normal game and the expansion so that I can build a kind of office as a building later on, for example, because the DLC includes things like computers and office chairs and other things, and I'm happy to support a game that still has a lot of potential. From what I've seen, it's even better than Gold Mining Simulator, which used to be Gold rush the Game. But even if I buy the game and I'm still a beginner, I'm going to set it to hard, because going from pickaxe to bigger things will be more fun than if I start with, say, $400,000 or more.
I only came across this game yesterday. It looks great. There is so much potential i hope Christian and the team will stick with it because i just bought it. Also sorry Split but what is with you microphone fading in and out cutting some of your word off.
if the dev doesn't wanna add tiered tools it would also be pretty cool to just have like levels 2 4 6 8 10 each give 5% bonus mining speed, then an additional 5% every 10 levels or something

To anyone pondering if this games is better than GMS, yes it is infinitely better in general. The only thing better about GMS is obviously the GOLD Mining aspect is more realistic and detailed. Imo there is nothing else better.

9:55 ish, defending toxicity and or rude behavior by saying "they are passionate about it" isnt good its still toxic / rude, thats no different than saying the domina dev was justified in what he said about women just because he is passionate about his game or w.e. If the devs allow behavior like that then thats on them and gets them labeled as such if they dont want that label stuck to the game or the rest of their work they should put a hard stop on any of it going on, that includes when the fans get rabid lol, (Obviously this applies, to where they can actually do it), if on their own stuff then its obvious right there but if on like twit or w/e then all they can do is just make an overall statement (hopefully saying they dont condone that behavior) and not engage. Otherwise by doing nothing its the same as agreeing to it. While I havent seen it for this game yet just because i havent looked I have seen the same behavior on other games and whenever the devs do nothing thats when it gets worse or if the devs actually support it at all, No matter the reason bullying and such is never acceptable, doesnt matter how good friends you are with the person

the game has 2 tool sets. one is cheap and slow. the other is fast and cost more. you are looking for the fast pick axe and fast shovel in the store.
