Eh, the Widow got smacked down by Quinn in season 1. The only reason Quinn didn't kill her is because his brain tumor made him have a syncopal episode right before he could land the death blow.
The fight choreography was by Andy Cheng, an ex member of the Jackie Chan stunt team, and also responsible for the fights in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the ten Rings.
I love the Widow! She is my fav character, such a badass woman!!!! Man I hate AMC not giving this show all the love and support it deserves; I hope there was a way to let the actors, producers, directors, creators, writers, staff, and everyone else involved in this great show know how much us fans appreciate and love this show, and love them for giving everything in each and every episode. I am very sad that it got cancelled, but I am very thankful they decided to make a 16 episode season to give the closure to the show, and hopefully it will be the closure they envisioned.
this show definitely deserved to have at least 5 seasons, but it's funny how i wanted the widow to die in season 1 when she and quinn were fighting i was cheering for him to kill her then season 3 came and i was cheering for to kill chau
@@JP-pp2tn well in season one we really didn't know her true motives. So they did paint her as a villain but she actually had good intentions until power changed her in season 2 I'm glad she was brought back to her good self in season 3

I hated Chau with a passion. Seeing her head fall to the floor was one of the best parts of the whole show. And the fact that the Widow was the one to kill her made the whole thing better than it already was.
I can totally see the Widow in Kill Bill as one of the Deadly Vipers! I can even see her as Beatrix Kiddo. Hell, she even walks in to face Chau like: “You and I have unfinished business...”
The reason why the widow wins most of her battles is because unlike her enemies, even tho she feels angry and vindictive, she's able to control herself and keep her cool temper. Thus, keeping control on her tactics and fighting performance where as her enemies the angry and feel for revenge takes over so they loose control and focus.
Plus Minerva never underestimate her enemies. Sure she does mock them, test them or even play, but is just to learn how to deal with them. Chau on another hand, thinks she is better than her enemies. Even when its clear that she is inferior to them. Gaius is superior, but his compassion and insecurity makes him feel inferior, which Juliet takes advantage. Juliet just learn how to take advantage in others weakness, but she is not a great fighter.
The writers said in an interview that they wrote a lot of it before the axe. They said they will close some/most of the loose ends, but will leave some room for future seasons in case it gets picked up.
still not over this show being cancelled. it at least deserves a movie to tie up everything :( i also wanna see more Widow and Sunny being badass fighters

AS SOON as they showed Chau hitting The Widow's daughter I knew it was over for her. I also loved this entire scene. Such a great moment in a fantastic show.
This episode was one of the best imo, it showed a lot of character with a lot of characters. Also Widow and Tilda make a great team of badasses, and I'm glad Gaius didn't die
I love how even showing how confident she was she was technique wise almost always a half step behind The Widow. It was always one of mt favorite things about the shows. Not everyone was insanely skilled. There were skill levels over a spectrum, which is how it should be.
This scene really brought this sort of joy to me. Chau was a great villain and was so awful that seeing her die was very satisfying especially after hearing her tell Tilda about breaking the Widow. The Widow suffered under her hand and her families hand and it was so great to see her get some semblance of justice/revenge for everything Chau’s family did.
Baron Chau had this coming to her for years, I'm sure. She may of gotten to the top, but she's definitely not fit to be baron anymore. She's gotta go, so she did 🤘😎

Don't understand why there can be 11 seasons of TWD but only 3 of Into the Badlands. The characters are so much more charismatic and better developed. Emily Beecham (The Widow) would make a perfect Android 18 if ever there were a live action Dragon ball Z remake. (Not the horrid one with Chow Yun Fatt)

Raiden 99 as the "master" nobody should be able to turn off your gift. Actually the gift should be limitless unlike others gift. She should be able to stay in dark mode like MK was trying, but without drawbacks.
Baron Chau did the one thing she wasn't supposed to do during her fight against the Widow, she lost her head, Lol i had to go there!😂😂, On a serious note though, this fight has always reminded me of the fight between Beatrix Kiddo and O-Ren Ishii in Kill Bill Volume 1
