I always visit this channel every few months to see how much that time has come down. I remember when it was still over 50! Here we are likely about to break the 40 barrier within the next year. (I don't want to be overly stingy with the time estimate). Speedrunning is insane.
I'm sad my schedule doesn't allow me to view these feats as they happen, but I'm happy to see every new upload here, because it tells me the legend has done it yet again!
After the 40:XX (couse of course it's gonna happen, you are incredible), it would be nice to see a compilation of all the doubters that said it was impossible, always fun to laugh about them
On the Nintendo patent thing, it would only be a thing in japan and maybe a few other countries, afaik eu and us don't allow patenting game mechanics, only if code is stolen can there be a case.
It's a bug caused by the spatula celebration starting but never finishing. By touching the spatula while in a bowling state loading into the next level, the spatula celebration still has to play out. However if you press the L trigger on the frame the level loads, you can cancel the celebration animation with the cruise bubble, though the camera stays moving as if it's zooming into SpongeBob as he celebrates.
I'm working on my first product - a physical set of 100 trading cards to commemorate 10 years of streaming for this community. More details will come next year, but I've been revealing some of the illustrations in the recent highlight reels. Lots of love is going into these, from myself and the artists (And yes there are a few cards from the diapey era lol)
