I like this a little more than Kernkraft 400. The melody of the iconic riff, and its accompanying chord changes, are more complex and interesting here. The lyrics (yes you can find them online) are really cool.
its kinda funny a song nerds made ended up as a sports anthem, whats funny is all the 70s era creative people like this would fit right in in the 2000s era internet (although all the gen x'ers who watched it created 2000s internet culture so thats probably why)
Cool to see the original origins of Kerkenkraft. In my opinion, this and stardust sound much different than stardust and kerkenkraft which are almost identical melodies.
Was this played randomly in the London region TV (Thames) like Kate Bush was by that Lego hair presenter??? I'm sure it was, Music TV wasn't a thing on ITV so...
+This Name Was Available No, Kernkraft got that from David Whittaker's Lazy Jones, which this probably influenced. This melody is similar to Kernkraft 400/Stardust, but it's not the same.
+IronCurtaiNYC I think Lazy Jones also has a track "probably influenced" by 99 Red Baloons. The sample used in Kerkraft 400 is a SID rendition of a part of this song, That is clearly an undeniable fact.
"Influenced" meaning he made a SID tune out if it? As in he directly copied the tune? He took another musicians work and passed it off as his own and then took money for it. "Influenced".

I don't understand why people are saying this song copies Kernkraft. This was written by me in 1980. Zombie Nation had their hit 15 March 1999.
Oh yeah, you're the best dude. Can you tell more about the music video?
So this is the full circle then. Peter created this song, it was included in the video game "Lazy Jones" and then remixed by Kenrkraft

Sadly this late 70s - early 80s electronic music will never resurface. The digital era has almost completely wiped out this genre.
Well there are underground electronic musicians who make electro music, slightly different than this but still analogue.
