I was the prime age for the Attitude era, being 13 in 1999. You HAD to watch Raw or Nitro on Monday night. It was mandatory schoolyard discussion back then, lol. I remember flipping back and forth between Raw or Nitro depending on the segment, or commercial break. Great memories.
I had to be out of the living room by 10 and I didn't have cable in my room nor internet in the house. Imagine waiting 10+ hours to find out what happened at the end of RAW.

Man, being a teenage wrestling fan in in the mid-late 90s is something that can never be replicated. Glad you started this series so that people like me can "relive" it and so newer generations can have a taste of what was arguably the best era in wrestling.
Yeah. I wonder how many people complained because I saw nothing but overwhelming support for that gimmick. They were awesome. Sucks that a few ruin it for the rest of us.
It's a storyline people cared more about than most will ever admit, X-Pac was so hated for the way he betrayed Kane that he couldn't be turned face at any point for years afterwards!
Everyone passes the buck onto the next person, I thought who killed WCW was brilliant myself and agree with you that it's not all his fault but he does have a lot of it on his shoulders

People claim McMahon reigned in Russo’s crazy ideas - and when Russo left we got the craziest stuff yet in WWF, the Bossman angle, the women’s championship, Richard’s in drag - I think history has been rewritten.
You guys talk like transitioning isn't a thing that exists lol. What we're seeing is a bunch of Russo's old pitches still coming in to play because they were in the plans before he left, it's like current wwe under Hunter, McMahon left a huge chunk of creative equity and what we're seeing now is stuff Vkm already put in motion, just like Russo here though, his ideas are being tweaked by somebody else. Until the diamond has been distilled completely, we won't see the new people's ideas be more prevalent.

In the Macho Man biography on A&E Gorgeous George said her and Randy were higher than kites on that promo.
This Nitro has a special place in my heart… it’s the very first wrestling show I ever watched.
My condolences
Did you watch it hundreds of times too? We've all done that.
Then you‘re better off than me and King of the Ring 1995.
