This footage is of "Ｗ･Ｈ･Ａ･Ｔ" which is a promotional S-VHS video cassette produced by National (Panasonic / Matsushita) & only sold in Japan likely in the late 80's. This rare cassette is one of the few pre-recorded S-VHS tapes available to the public.
The demo cassette features a very 1980's model and her rather emotional experience doing a photoshoot. The scenes emphasize the high-detail-resolution of the S-VHS format using fabrics and various beauty objects such as palettes, brushes, & lipsticks.
The background audio is probably the most interesting part of this tape. Based around the word "WHAT", this catchy, generic 80's synthpop track will stump you with it's lyrics. +10 internet points to the first person to figure them out.
