In my school time, in CBSE books, I had chapter on bhakti movement with mentions of Mahaprabhuji and Surdasji and Surdasji 's pad in Hindi textbooks in various classes....
But still major chapters were on Mughals, French Revolution and Chinese Revolution 🤦🏻
No mention of Vedic culture at all
