the moment they reveal hikari is the person,i was like "they just masquerade us!" and for people who don't know, masquerade is a character from bakugan and what they did almost the same as masquerade.
Suo really looked at Vanguard deletion and went so beyond it. But that twist was really amazing, in hindsight though I bet future Hikari was the one that revealed where the Hikari present Hikari was because Taizo wouldn't normally know that, we just took it for granted at that moment.
Indeed, it recontextualized their whole meeting. I wonder if Taizo knows even more than that tho, maybe she gave him further insight into what the future holds...
I have to get this out first man: HOLY MOTHER SHIT WHAT A TWIST. To think not only Cray, but we have TIME TRAVELER IN HERE??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Shut the Front Door! The implication are big with this one, not only Gear Chronicle suddenly can be a thing again, but this means Crossover with The OG might be a thing. This from sheer shock alone, the best episode. 10/10 for me.
Also whats crazy is i talked to friends and playing guess whats the eff of Fated one Zero here and my god i was right on the money when Suo said, you can’t PG any atk this turn🤣🤣. That card is super dangerous now, not only bind face down opponents but basically when its kill time, you can’t used PG to defend. That battle was insane.
Same best episode so far, plot really hittin' Yeah it's perhaps the strongest one imo, card seems REALLY dangerous, its kill potential feels like Dragstrider level.
@@godsman00 You know what crazy too? In Fate Stay Night Archer is basically Future version of the MC, and he really wants to change the future that lead the MC to becoming him. This show is getting really close to that 😅. It’s insane.
Blangdmire has incredible aesthetics in terms of 0. His skills work really well in terms of his nation (Remember Zeroth Dragon Dust?) and are a subtle tribute to the Deletors (who coincidentally also had a white haired male owner with a tragic background), and everything fits the nihilism of nothingness. If he could reduce his opposing unit’s power to 0, then that would literally be Overkill. And leave it to the darkest character to have the coolest soundtrack. Twist reminded me of Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds’ final antagonist, but it was executed better with a character we’re more familiar with rather than a random character. The new Fated One card has a subtle preview on its nation when looking at its name box. A final note, based on Blangdmire’s Grim Reaper-like design and Suo’s dialogue, it’s almost as if the latter is possessed by Blangdmire himself and he’s of to face his mortal enemy; Rezael. Quite good storytelling if you ask me.
Hmm true, Suou might not be himself completely. If so the Blangdmire is pretty damn despicable. Oh you mean Z-one? Yeah he coulda been cool but the character was properly built up which hurt execution. Hikari here has a MUCH better start, man the Yugioh 5ds comparisons are just coming out of the woodworks!
Suo represents Zero in all means, I thought the crazy monk will try to make his opponent go berserk. Having no chemistry with Masanori is a victory😂. Then Hikari, what a twist, my jaw dropped
Wow...no wonder no Keter RRR has been revealed in DZBT-02 so far, damn, never thought we have another angelic VG for Angel Feather enthusiasts to continue inhaling copium (inb4 Fated One of Time's Divine Skill is to skip a turn XD [gotta need an in-theme CC to fully take advantage of that]) I used to worry that DivineZ's fated clash might not have enough steam to support multiple seasons, but the introduction of time travel brings so much possibilities for the stories, we can literally go multiple timelines and iterations (Re-Zero /Steins Gate style) without reusing same characters (that blonde chick last episode might be a Fated one user after all at this rate)
So you were right about the ability nullification and I was right about the PG nullification. Fated One Of Time reveal was somewhat expected at least with regards to their identity. I was also right in the 7th being a Keter card. All that's left now is to wait for the lore reveal to see if I was right about her being Rezael's dead lover. Edit: Blangdmire is hilarious. Reaches absurd levels of power, forces normal guards, cripples your next turn if you do survive 😂
@hyde4748 We were dead on man, and tbh you're almost certainly also gonna be right about the dead lover bit, it would blend perfectly with the lore. Now I just wonder how Rezael and this 7th Fated one's lore will change based on the season finally, will they get a good ending or a tragic one? Yuuuuup Blangdmire is arguably even more threatening cuz it prevents the clap back lol.
@@godsman00 Man, imagine it was a Haruhi Suzumiya Loop. I'm so hyped. Especially for the future seasons. Blangdmire is gonna make BW Reijy V hilarious 😂
@@hyde4748 Man what was the name of that episode where they kept looping it? Endless 8 I think? I think that's what you're referencing anyway lol. Dude Definitely, Reijy is gonna find redemption in the most bizarre way LMAO 😂
Woah that was a lot of things to unpack, I didn't expect the Hikari twist to actually be a reality. This season just got a whole lot more interesting, I wonder if next season is going to focus on the ripples of time that time travelling usually has with it, although this does follow the bubbled concept where in this case Hikari is stuck on this loop of trying to save Akina and it resets until she finally does it. I predicted a 7th Fated One card ever since they revealed DivineZ news. I thought it was going to be Megumi though but Hikari makes more sense seeing the plot now, I'm glad I still called for a 7th one this same season, when they say a fixed number, sometimes they love breaking it
Yeah "fixed" number my ass 😂 It's a cool twist, good on you for seeing it coming immediately lol. Next season being about the time distortions has a ton of potential to it, lots of "what if" scenarios plus facing regrets which is part in parcel with the whole wish theme of the series. Heck we could even have fun nostalgia moments lol.
@@godsman00 I've been interested about time travelling for a particular story I'm writing and I learned more about it just a few days ago so seeing Vanguard immediately pull out the Fated One of Time and making everyone's Hikari (sort of meme) prediction actually a reality has really gotten me more hooked into the anime, not that it was bad prior to this but got my interest a lot more. I love the concept shift if the Fated One of Time plays like an Angel Feather card and actually heals, they would've shifted or extended the healing and medication aspect of Angel Feather to a more reversing time (having less damage than before) and reshaping the past.
Easily the best episode of Divinez so far, both the fight and reveals were great! Suo is basically anti-Masanori and it's pretty cathartic to see all of prodding fall short and finally see him off his game. Keter Sanctuary continues eating well and I’m glad Hikari has the kitsune mask, excited to see what her story will be next week. Finally, Blangdmire is easily one of the most threatening units I’ve ever seen, his effects, aesthetics and theme all do an excellent job of highlighting the absolute dread he and Suo exudes.
Masanori went from curious to annoyed to terrified it's freaking great 🤣. Hikari's story should finally reveal everything, including why Akina dies as that's unclear. Blangdmire is CRAZY bro
So I know I'm supposed to be the Brandt Gate guy in our group, but I think Blangdmire after Drajeweled and Favrneel sealed me as a Dark States guy more lol. Like goddamn, that's two DS bosses that they gave a Link Joker type effect, first Drajeweled with Deletors, and now Blangdmire with Vanish Delete.... I guess Deletors also went to Dark Zone after Messiah purified them lol
Are you guys sure Fated one of Time is Keter/angel feather lookalike? Because if you look closer, the wings look more mechanical than natural, and there are gears in the background too. She may dress up like an angel feather, but with this it feels more like steam maiden. Meh, i could be wrong...
Hey it's possible! Although there is mechanic aspects to OTT, Genesis, and Angel Feather artworks at times so it might be more akin to that then a Gear Chronicle in disguise.
The thing I find interesting in regards to Blangdmire Divine Skill, is it creates a neat little contrast between decks that rely on their vanguards ability to function/push, like Varga, Youthberk, Magnolia sorta. And decks that can still work due their vanguard having a specific name, like, Kyouka, Flagburg or B-Heroes, and maybe Bavsargra (do wonder how far the ability nullification on (VC) goes, if it extends to the arms and the like, oh boy)
That is interesting. If Blangdmire does indeed become a meta threat it may breed a whole new of distinction between decks which play into or around Blangdmire's Divine Skills, could be a format warper which would be super trippy.
Problem with zero's devine skill is If you check a ot you will guarantee 3-4dmg(4 dmg in case you opponent no guard for vg) which your opponent have no way to guard it
This episode was insane and so much plot twist. As for Blangdmire I think he'll just shut down your opponent's skills, their Vanguard skills and abilities of Perfect Guards (don't know if Elementaria Sanctitude will be affected or not) which means the Vanguard could still Persona Ride and Drive checks. But still Blangdmire can still shut down some very strong decks like: RevolDress, Final Rush/Burst, Stride decks, etc. yeah Blangdmire is gonna be a pain to deal with, but we'll have to wait for more confirmation on Tuesday.
No kidding! The whole "no skills next turn" is so difficult to deal with when you need to clap back or accrue advantage for the next turn. That's another thing. Even after that next turn, Blangdmire will still be scaling to Face Down Bind so things will still be difficult as heck lol. Blangdmire's gonna be hell...
So the main Skill of the Fated One of Zero binds units instead sending the to the Drop Zone. That works really well against both Zorga and Rezael since they have skills that revive from the drop zone. As for the Divine Skill it’s plus one critical, prevents Perfect Guards, and negates the skills of the opponent’s vanguard. This is basically a death sentence, maybe that’s why the song was so good it emphasizes a requiem of death for the Opponent. But I think I understand Suo’s character and “motivation”. I think Suo was a very smart/insightful child, so when his parents died in that train crash he understood the meaning of death and people that get close to him or try to get close to him will die because he said that “I just turn things to nothing.” He just accepted reality in the most negative way possible. Suo also said “I don’t need anything.” If we take this in the most literal sense possible then if Suo wins the Divine Clash then he may gain the ability to kill people that try to get close to him like his uncle or Akina. But I don’t think that is the case unless Suo decides to go full evil or whatever comes close for his character. So Kitune mask is a future version of Hikari that wants to save Akina from dying and has the Fated One of Time. This might actually confirm an idea I had for a while now. If a future version of Hikari appeared and has a Fated One card then that means not only that there is a possibility of a future Fated Clash but that Hikari lives long enough to be apart of that future Fated Clash, which means it’s possible that the “bad” timeline/outcome is one where Akina wins the Fated Clash. It has been said multiple times that Akina would die, but I never thought he would actually die. Instead I was thinking that after Akina wins the Fated Clash and gets the power to save Hikari he would be directly connected to Cray and become like Takuto Tatsunagi from the the original and/or V series and becomes the Concert Master for the new era. In other words Akina would die as a regular human and would have to take a role as someone who bridges the gape between Cray and Earth and this would separate him from Hikari and now she wants to stop that from happening. I also guess that her Fated One of Time Card might go Gear Chronicle and skip the opponent’s turn.
That is the question, Suou's potential "wish" could be devastating assuming he wins. Heck it might not be him going full evil, Suou could be influenced by Blangdmire a bit as some others have predicted. Even if not, it's also possible Akina wins regardless and sacrifices himself, in which case maybe Suou winning could be the solution ironically as it doesn't result in any death due to his lack of a wish. Man it's hard to say, we'll have to wait and see what comes of this. The idea of Akina becoming a being of Cray is trippy but it has merit for sure, man thinking on it we're definitely in a position to really warp the lore of Cray!
@@godsman00how would this warp the lore of Cray considering all the crazy supernatural things like PSYqualia and Diffride that have linked Cray to Earth and its people through Vanguard in the past?
@@Ryujomaru15 I'd imagine imagine force and it's permiations across the multiverse might bring forth an event that exceeds the gear chronicle singularity, reality could overlap upon itself. Heck these wishes also affect reality, imagine if someone wished to unite Cray and Earth?
@@godsman00Yeah that would be crazy. But this also makes me think a few other things. With Akina, Suo, and future Hikari as the last of the Fated ones this could lead to a few different directions. If Akina wins he would save his sister, but potentially have to leave her behind due to being linked with Cray (if that is what will happen). If Suo wins it can either mean nothing or it can go to the extreme and erase everything (it doesn’t even have to be malevolent or evil it’s just reality to him). But now that a future Hikari is involved it’s possible that she participates in the extra final Fated Clash and if she beats either Akina or Suo she could take Akina’s place and it could be realistic because if she did participate in a future Fated Clash and she went back in time to save Akina then she was skilled enough to win her era’s Fated Clash and her wish allowed to not only get to this point but potentially defeat Akina and or Suo in a way that won’t create a time paradox. But if Akina loses then present Hikari may die, so it’s possible that she wants Akina to accept the idea of her death and want him to move on with his life and not chain himself to her. Which again maybe realistic as if I’m right about the Divine Skill of the Fated One of Time being a turn skill that skips an Opponent’s turn then she could bypass Rezael’s trigger revival skill to deal more damage and Blangdmire’s negate skill to already use her skill and to prevent the second turn death sentence.
IS HIKARI RELARED TO CHRONO DRAN WTF?! ALSO BLADGMIRE BE NUTS! Like he falls under the whole, finisher, final phase, impact thing but damn is it hella strong. And direct counter to Akina and Rezial. Suo really making Ibuki proud with the delete skil. Also I was joking with the whole 'masked dude is his sister' but wtf, they actually did it. And she can control time? I say again, Chrono Dran? And what nation is it? It looks like Keter but what?!
Brother we livin' in the correct timeline, these twists are great! Suo put on a strong performance, Blangdmire feels like it could be a legitimate meta threat depending on how the skill works. It could be a stronger Dragstrider if Elementaria doesn't stop it 😶 Ibuki 2.0 might be killing Akina in every timeline. If so the Hikari might be beating him every time to reverse time! Man we were supposing it was Hikari but seeing the theory actually be TRUE feels oddly unreal lol. Yup looks like Keter, there's a yellow border we see near the top left (Grade icon) and near the bottom (Nation icon) so we're almost certainly getting a Trickstar/Trickmoon duality. Blangdmire was so hype yet she's immediately stealing my heart regardless 🤣. You looking forward to her or Blangdmire more bro?
@@godsman00I have way too many Keter decks. But what's one more. But Blandgmire might be my first Dark States deck so... maybe Bladgy Boi Ngl, this might be the hypest EP yet with the amount of crazy stuff that happened.
I am sad that the 7th fated card is not a cray elemental but honestly THIS IS WILD. This could lead into really crazy paradox shenanigan's bringing past characters into this series with them playing this style of vanguard there is so much potential they can go with this.
So, after this episode, I have a theory like this: -First, we know that Masanari used to mention if someone would win the Fated Clash and they could wish for something, they would have to exchange something else for that. With this explaination, there’s a high chance that in the future Hikari’s timeline, Akina would win the Fated Clash in the final battle against Suo, and he would wish for saving Hikari which would result in his death, since a life is needed to exchange for a life. Then Hikari would get the Fated One of Time card and participate in the second Fated Clash, win that one and wish to return to the past to save her brother. I don’t know what’s the cost for this, but… I came up with an idea that the cost will be fate would turn against her, make her couldn’t change anything in that timeline, and this likely has happened many times, making this A LOOP since the little Hikari would get the Fated One of Time card again after the first Fated Clash in which Akina died, and repeat the loop. -Second, I think in this season, it could be the first season in history that a protagonist LOSES in the final episode of a season. Because with all of that happened until now, to break this loop, the result of final match in first Fated Clash has to be changed. Which means Akina has to be the one to be defeated by Suo. But, somehow, he could change Suo’s mind of thinking everything as zero, and instead of wishing for nothing, he would be the one who would wish for Hikari’s life (since Suo treated Akina as his first friend when Akina could change Suo’s way of thing, he wouldn’t want Akina to suffer fate of zero like he did,so instead of “turn everything to zero”, he would “turn himself to zero for the sake of his friend”), which results to Suo’s death and with that, the loop would be broken (Akina and both future and current Hikari will be saved, only Suo dies). Still, the plot could be different, we still don’t know how Bushi is thinking now.
Oh man, I do really like that direction although it resulting in Suou's death feels so unfortunate and doubtful since all 6 of our contestants (7 with Hikari) should be important for the next season. Building on your theory though, there IS a compromise. Have you seen Yu Yu Hakusho? If so, then remember that episode where Yusuke saves Kurama from dying for his wish by offering part of his life to offset the cost? Well much like with Yusuke and Kurama, I think Akina and Suou can go halfsies on the exchange for Hikari's health/life, meaning everyone lives albeit perhaps with a shorter lifespan lol.
This has a high chance to happen, since Suo’s life is almost the same as fate of zero: anyone who’s close to him would be dead (his parents for example, his uncle didn’t die until now because death still not chosen him yet or Suo would die instead in this season before death would come to his uncle). So we could understand why he’s acting like that almost every time: he wants everyone to stay away from him, not considering him friend so that they wouldn’t have to face the fate of death. If the plot would happen like I said before, Suo HAS TO DIE, so Akina wouldn’t die like his parents, and the way I explained would be how Suo becomes zero instead. And, I like the comparison tho. Still, we have to wait at least 1 week more to wait for the revelation of the plot.
Ironically, the deck Akina used against Taizo might also be a good matchup against Suo since PGs become irrelevant for an entire turn (I assume Blangdmire's Divine Skill stops PGs for the entire turn because it continues until the opponent's next End Phase) Also I like that he handles his cards the same way as Michiru who he already has a lot of similarities with
Oh hey point taken, might be time to go for broke Akina lol. Heck Raika also did that I think, he also has the "serious white haired youth" thing going on.
@godsman00 Raika was doing it because of Michiru, just like every character who says "The", which all started with Ibuki. A lot of these guys have white hair, huh?
Akina's rush deck could work, but he really needs to run heals since the crits and fronts can't save him when Blangdmire's divine skill activates, and trying to defeat him before that is already very difficult and dependent on who goes first and second
already loved this series, then time travel and probably the time loop were discovered, so I love it more. Now there are two sisters of the protagonist, one who is sick and small, and the other from the future who has gone back in time so that all the challengers to the tournament she intercepted would win against their opponents, making sure that they never happen akina vs the gray-haired boy, otherwise Akina would die. Unfortunately, every time the woman with the mask attempted a solution, fate worked against her. being a loop, each future version of the protagonist's sister will go back, but will fail again and again. instead the protagonist's sister, who is sick and unaware of this, will sooner or later find out everything and become the woman with the mask
I think youre right about her sister need to beat suo because the opening did spoil the lose order so after taizoi > masa > akina > suo > then the mask guy (her sister)
this episode was so good i didnt expect the sister twist but when it happened it felt so shocking and makes sense to why taizo visited hikari also blangdmire is so cool the way suo was in this fight and the skills was so amazing though threating to my direful dolls and funny enough it fuels gandeva a bit i love this episode so much lol the pay off was so good it seems
Lol not surprised you like Direful Dolls given the Lapis art lol. But yeah wicked reveals here! I'm glad you brought up the Taizo Hikari meeting earlier, I think you're the only one to bring that up but yeah it really makes sense! It also makes it cuter that he referred to her as his friend lol. Ngl Blangdmire looks like a meta threat, card could give Dragstrider a run for his money which is uh pretty damn scary 😅
@@godsman00 ah now that its on top my head in cook million suo said it cancels both yours and the opponents vg skills idk if im misremembering though but that means it gives a negative to yourself also and yes im just a fan of doll characters since they are human also but are different if that makes sense lol

@@Clover_Satori that's another really cool comparison! You're definitely on to something to, in EP.3 Akina's first clash remember how Rezael's white feather dropped when the Divine Skill healed him? Yeah it's just like what you're saying with Blangdmire. Man these two units have gotta be age old rivals or something cuz the contrasts be hittin' lol.
That was a lot of unexpected turn and twist. 1. Blandmire dvine skills felt like a zeroth dragon dust upgrade but it still keep the dark states theme of guard restrict like (pale moon, Spike, Di, and GC). 2. Can't believe we gotten Akina's sister more screentime. Also, Its keter Sactuary as well which fits like brother like sister. 3. So guessing all the missing RRR reveals is fated time isn't it XD?No wonder why keter was so blank 😂
Im sure that fated one of time isnt from this Fated Battle but for the next one. She grew up and joined the next Fated Battle to win and to go back in time to save her brother.
I am gonna be honest, this episode was kinda within expectations, but Blangdmire and future Hikari ending blew that up. That divine skill is so overkill. Not only are you nullifying the vg abilities until end of opponents turn, you're also getting a crit and nullifying pgs, and then there's the +10k for its normal skill to! If it's being setup to be very high on power for that final turn, there's only 2 ways you can possibly survive. It's either you can defeat it before turn 4 which is when it can meet the conditions to use it. Or have as low damage as possible to tank it and just guard the rears, so staying at 3 damage. But that thing will still have a crit from the skill and still have drive checks for another one, add to the fact its rideline avoids putting g0s into soul, the chances of it becoming a 3 crit attacker are still present and higher. Fated one of time actually makes sense with the time travelling, but really expected something different. It actually looks like Agf feather and Genesis hybrid. Since it's fated one of time I can only assume it has deck manipulation or recycling cards to deck.
Dude the Hikari/7th Fated One reveal was so unexpected, EP.9 really escalated with that last bit cuz Blangdmire was hype but like you said not too beyond expectations (Song was sick tho) Hm yeah this Divine Skill might be a bit much, imo unless there's some other stipulation or big Cost it could very well be the strongest unless Hikari's fated one is nuts too Oh wow yeah you're so right it is kinda Genesis-y! Maaan if it does have Genesis flavor to it I'll be in heaven, that's tied with SPs for my favorite clan dude lol. What do you predict she'll do?
@@godsman00 If I had to guess it's probably something with the theme of turning back time. So it can either be field revival or cycling cards from hand or drop back to deck. That's practically Rezael yes, but I imagine she'll be able to manipulate the drive checks insteads, or maybe add cards back to hand from drop. What would be nuts though is if it's like returning one card from damage back to deck as a form of healing.
@@godsman00 also the segment at the end explaining Blagdmire said it nullifies the vanguard's AND opponent's abilities. So that's confirmation Rezael's divine skill, and something like Final Burst, which are the players abilities that they get, can be nullified to
Seems my crackpot theory about Hikari being the masked dude was correct. I think a great and bittersweet way to end this season is Hikari vs Akina, just two siblings having fun before she disappears into the future, leaving the fated one of time in Young Hikari's hand
@@godsman00 Bro another thing is about Blangdmire's skill. What if it actually disables PGs for the rest of the turn? Because he went: until the end of the next turn, your vanguard's skills are erased, and you cannot use perfect guards. That would be incredibly broken, and all Luard and Direful doll players would collectively shit themselves
I HOPE!! ...(my shonan wish) That there's an opposing group coming. The Fated ones have to "avengers assemble" after the tournament. Maby the sister warnes them of a bigger threat lol
What happened in the timeline that Akina death? 1. Taizo did not in the fated crash (So who will compete instead taizo?). 2. How does Hikari know about fated crash (from mikoto/nao or banana dragon?). 3. What happened to Suo after fated crash (get deleted by blangdmire?) 4. How did hikari travel back in time?
Shit is getting good, I need all the character themes for this season. Its amazing that the character theme is consistently good across dress and this season. I imagine the preview might just be showing her winning her Fated Clash which will explains how she travelled back into the past. She won a Fated Clash and that was her wish, to go back to the past so she can change her brother's fate. Please, be an actual AF mechanic-wise.
We hella gonna get another album of the character themes like we got awhile back with willdress, or we RIOT. Yeah right? I'm thinking she wins over and over again, which would make her such a badass ngl Hikari getting cool now baby! Rezael gave us a Malkuth style, maybe Hikari will give us Celestial/Gavrail?
Well, RIP for Direful Dolls and Greedon, they got a new boogie man to deal with. Also, I did not expect another Keter Fated One I honestly think they bring us a new nation entirely. But yeah solid episode.
IKR! This skill is so terrifying for just about any defensive deck, I mean even effing Gurguit wouldn't like this thing lol. Yeah it makes tho, a 7th nation would really eff up how set ratios work. 2nd Keter was sensible especially, after all the whole Trickstar/Trickmoon duality with DE was good too.
Imagine your Greedon is at 6 damage with the 7 dmgwin con active, and by the time the divine skill activates you just automatically win now without needing to land a hit
I said Bravely Default before, but this is like, actually a thing in Bravely Default where one character goes back in time to avert everyone dying. But anyways, Blangdmire has got to have one of the most brutal guard restricts we've seen in D seriesm Honestly, I expected her to play Brandt Gate or Dark States. More references then... Hikari here is pulling a Hajimari C, and a bit of a Joshua. Meanwhile Suo here is pre- Estelle Joshua.
Naw bro keter all the way! Oh man no kidding, pre-estelle Josh was so broken as a person it was crazy seeing how different he was from the young man we saw in FC/SC (albeit he backslides a couple times). Reverie C huh? Yeah I see it, they were also both pretty darn cool reveals when they were unmasked! Perhaps Future Hikari will be just as cool?
I believe so, I just never bothered looking at those start decks beyond the G3 vanguards themselves so if so then oops lol. VERY CRAZY BEST EPISODE YET!
You too huh? I'm so on that, Bavs and Keter are like my two loves in Standard, she's effectively uniting that while being wielded by the vanguard equivalent of Homura (one of my fav characters ever) is just pure fan service to me man! Glad you thought so too lol.
Yeah Blangdmire Hard counters Rezael. Binds rears Face Down, probably turns off divine skill, and prevents revive skill on the following turn. This Angel's wings might be clipped...
I love blangmire, hate the twist, and I'm bothered by the fact bushi has been printing vanguards with defensive skills only to make a vanguard that just says no to it
@@elin111 Yea. So unless there's some magic way to reride your vanguard during your opponent's turn my point still stands. Siana, Androld, and Lascaria can't make use of their defensive effects when Blangmire goes divine
As I coped. To save someone's life, you need another one to do so. He's gonna die to save his Imoto. Then his Imoto will win the Fated Clash inorder to back to the future moment to stop her Onii chan.
Bit worried that Blangdmire would eventually get enough bind-face down stuff for his Divine Skill to be activated on t3 going first. Locking out Vanguard skill while someone's still on their G2 is just kinda a guaranteed loss.
I'm fairly certain it won't come to that unless there's some weird premium implications. But in standard at least it's easy for Bushi to have their eye on the radar
@@godsman00 tats trueee, they might just add a energy blast skill that just shuts down premium usage completely haha but damn i m quite scared to face this in standard let alone premium
@@comical.2488 Man definitely I'm scared too, hell Dragstrider had me freaked out yet we're still ok so far, yet here's Blangdmire who could very well be even scarier. We'll see though I'm hopeful there's something that'll keep it in check.
I feel like Akina beats Suo by either using both rezael and hikari's fated one card or rezael getting a new form Edit: Future Hikari and Hikari existing in the same place at the same time. Even more Fate Stay Night references
Bro you are EARLY LOL cannot blame you one bit. Bruh it'll be very interesting to see how Akina gets out of this one considering Blangdmire shuts down Rezael hard. That said the opening heavily implies the worst is about to come so we'll see. Holy guacamole G called they want their over the top plot back lol. A lot people have been speculating it's Hikari but Future Hikari. And yeah quiet possibly her avatar is Rezael's dead lover.
Blangdmire shuts down the Multi attack but does not shut down the sixth damage heal. Since the effect is like Gallmageheld in the sense that it is given to the player rather than the vanguard. Thus, it will persist even if Blandgmire wipes the VG effect.
Yuuuup trying to be earlier now, seems like folks prefer that so I'm gonna try my best to make it happen 💪 Rezael is gonna have a really hard time. Divine skill gets shut down, can't revive after Blangdmire divine skill, hell even Blangdmire binding his rears Face Down is a counter to Rezael. This feels like a mismatch ngl lol. Yeah the time shenanigans return, but the aspect of Hikari preventing her Brother's death which is a sort of reverse of their card's lores (assuming the 7th Fated one is in fact the lover) feels even cooler to me! Something interesting about this that I'm not seeing a lot of people bring up is that Future Hikari seems healthy. It's possible Akina actually WON but died in the process, or she overcame the illness naturally. That might complicate things ngl.
@@godsman00 I was about to say. A theory that's been going around is Akina wins the Fated Clash and wishes for Hikari's illness to go away but at the cost of his own life. So now a healthy Hikari wins the next Fated Clash and travels back in time to stop her brother. Which creates a very conflicting situation. If that theory is true than we're just keep looping back around with Hikari trying save her brother now. But if Suo wins he might like you said wishes everything turns to Zero. So for now we're in a bit of a stump. And I love that we're ignoring the fact that if Hikari competes in the future Fated Clash then that means there are more Fated Cards out there lol opening up windows for new ridelines or new forms for past units.
Man that lore bit about the Gyze revival cultist hella threw me, maybe my boi had a point bringing that up... But regardless Keter eating GOOD after this man. I love Keter and Bavsargra, and now we could get them rolled into one. I ain't sleeping tonight lol. What do you think the 7th Fated one will do?
I mean the hikari thing, am not a big fan of, I would have liked if it was a unit over character drama, as for blangdmire, it was within expectations, so the episode was okay for me, I don’t know man, when the ceiling was so high yet bushi decided to stay on ground
Oh really? I personally love it, gives Hikari an important role, potentially relates to the Rezael lore with the lover which may give unit drama. Hell we could also see some shenanigans from Blangdmire that makes it special, the mascot hushed up Suou from fully explaining the card so we could get more from him. Could also be a scenario where Blangdmire gets drama with Rezael which will get explored later. Sucks ya didn't like it more but hey hopefully it can impress you later on!
Aight' time to spank chrono jet for this time f**kery, this is gonna be weird ngl, and bet we both predicted blandgmire abilitiy to be perfectguard null

Same best episode so far, plot really hittin'
Yeah it's perhaps the strongest one imo, card seems REALLY dangerous, its kill potential feels like Dragstrider level.

Masa was perturbed in the beginning and terrified at the end, what a rush lol.
Wow...no wonder no Keter RRR has been revealed in DZBT-02 so far, damn, never thought we have another angelic VG for Angel Feather enthusiasts to continue inhaling copium (inb4 Fated One of Time's Divine Skill is to skip a turn XD [gotta need an in-theme CC to fully take advantage of that])
I used to worry that DivineZ's fated clash might not have enough steam to support multiple seasons, but the introduction of time travel brings so much possibilities for the stories, we can literally go multiple timelines and iterations (Re-Zero /Steins Gate style) without reusing same characters (that blonde chick last episode might be a Fated one user after all at this rate)
Oh yes LOTS of possibilities here baby!
Oh that make sense he is searching for his lover, hold up you cooking here🧐🔥🔥
@hyde4748 We were dead on man, and tbh you're almost certainly also gonna be right about the dead lover bit, it would blend perfectly with the lore. Now I just wonder how Rezael and this 7th Fated one's lore will change based on the season finally, will they get a good ending or a tragic one?

Woah that was a lot of things to unpack, I didn't expect the Hikari twist to actually be a reality. This season just got a whole lot more interesting, I wonder if next season is going to focus on the ripples of time that time travelling usually has with it, although this does follow the bubbled concept where in this case Hikari is stuck on this loop of trying to save Akina and it resets until she finally does it.
I predicted a 7th Fated One card ever since they revealed DivineZ news. I thought it was going to be Megumi though but Hikari makes more sense seeing the plot now, I'm glad I still called for a 7th one this same season, when they say a fixed number, sometimes they love breaking it
Yeah "fixed" number my ass 😂
It's a cool twist, good on you for seeing it coming immediately lol.
Problem with zero's devine skill is If you check a ot you will guarantee 3-4dmg(4 dmg in case you opponent no guard for vg) which your opponent have no way to guard it
Yup it's gonna be a terror to deal with man
Did someone realized that Blangdmire can erase the skill that Rezael give to the player?
Oh trust me we're all on that lol

Suo put on a strong performance, Blangdmire feels like it could be a legitimate meta threat depending on how the skill works. It could be a stronger Dragstrider if Elementaria doesn't stop it 😶
Ibuki 2.0 might be killing Akina in every timeline. If so the Hikari might be beating him every time to reverse time! Man we were supposing it was Hikari but seeing the theory actually be TRUE feels oddly unreal lol.

SAME the potential is really high, and we all know this 7th Fated One is gonna be a fan favorite lol
Tbh, this is a date a live type of time usage. The ones using that power changed the timeline 3 times in 207 attempts.
Sounds like a good time (not)
@@godsman00 oh, beleive me it dark,
Really, really, dark
So, after this episode, I have a theory like this:
-First, we know that Masanari used to mention if someone would win the Fated Clash and they could wish for something, they would have to exchange something else for that.
Ironically, the deck Akina used against Taizo might also be a good matchup against Suo since PGs become irrelevant for an entire turn (I assume Blangdmire's Divine Skill stops PGs for the entire turn because it continues until the opponent's next End Phase)
Also I like that he handles his cards the same way as Michiru who he already has a lot of similarities with
Oh hey point taken, might be time to go for broke Akina lol.
Heck Raika also did that I think, he also has the "serious white haired youth" thing going on.
@godsman00 Raika was doing it because of Michiru, just like every character who says "The", which all started with Ibuki.
A lot of these guys have white hair, huh?
@@Samurrot07 Yeah Bushi miiiight have a favorite hair color (blue or white lol)

Dude the Hikari/7th Fated One reveal was so unexpected, EP.9 really escalated with that last bit cuz Blangdmire was hype but like you said not too beyond expectations (Song was sick tho)

So that's confirmation Rezael's divine skill, and something like Final Burst, which are the players abilities that they get, can be nullified to
@@giancarlourielmarpa6037 Jesus Rezael is SCREWED dude, no wonder Hikari says he's gonna die lol
@@godsman00 his only saving grace are heals or an over trigger. Which btw I've noticed that we haven't gotten a single over trigger in the anime yet
Seems my crackpot theory about Hikari being the masked dude was correct. I think a great and bittersweet way to end this season is Hikari vs Akina, just two siblings having fun before she disappears into the future, leaving the fated one of time in Young Hikari's hand
Ooooo y'know, if that happens, we might get a season 2 fated clash involving her if she receives Amorda (I think that's the name 😂)
@@archerexiv3740 yuuuuup Dragstrider might be powercrept already 🤣
Bro i can't wait for next week episode finally an angel feather vanguard im so hype
Hehehe so hype man
I HOPE!! ...(my shonan wish)
That there's an opposing group coming. The Fated ones have to "avengers assemble" after the tournament.
Maby the sister warnes them of a bigger threat lol
Maybe a alternate reality fated ones? Could be a big 6 v 6 scenario, so truly the avengers shall assemble (Welstra = Iron Man)
@godsman00 bro yes!! Lol
His Divine skill is scary than I thought
Might be a gangbuster unit on the loose lol
What happened in the timeline that Akina death?
1. Taizo did not in the fated crash (So who will compete instead taizo?).
2. How does Hikari know about fated crash (from mikoto/nao or banana dragon?).
3. What happened to Suo after fated crash (get deleted by blangdmire?)
4. How did hikari travel back in time?
The next episode might answer most of not all of those questions so we'll have to stay tuned cuz Hikari has a story to tell.
Let’s just hope that we won’t have any “I’ll have another turn” moment from the fated one of time…..
If so then hopefully there's a hefty downside to it.
Though I do want to ask future Hikari about who Akira will date in the future =)))
(Kouhai team let’s goooooooo)
Well, RIP for Direful Dolls and Greedon, they got a new boogie man to deal with.
Also, I did not expect another Keter Fated One I honestly think they bring us a new nation entirely.
But yeah solid episode.
IKR! This skill is so terrifying for just about any defensive deck, I mean even effing Gurguit wouldn't like this thing lol.
Yeah it makes tho, a 7th nation would really eff up how set ratios work. 2nd Keter was sensible especially, after all the whole Trickstar/Trickmoon duality with DE was good too.
I just got my Direful Dolls deck...
But I'm interested in the new angel in town though hehe
@@HoshikawaHikari As one deck dies another rises lmaooo
Imagine your Greedon is at 6 damage with the 7 dmgwin con active, and by the time the divine skill activates you just automatically win now without needing to land a hit
@@giancarlourielmarpa6037 Man Greedon also gets cucked by Shiranui Mikoto so it's just sad days for that dude lol.
I said Bravely Default before, but this is like, actually a thing in Bravely Default where one character goes back in time to avert everyone dying. But anyways, Blangdmire has got to have one of the most brutal guard restricts we've seen in D seriesm
Honestly, I expected her to play Brandt Gate or Dark States.
Aren't all the starters used by the Fated Ones the start deck starters?
Also... THIS EPISODE WAS CRAAAZY!
I believe so, I just never bothered looking at those start decks beyond the G3 vanguards themselves so if so then oops lol.
VERY CRAZY BEST EPISODE YET!
The card name: “Fated One of Time, Amoruta”. Grade 3 Keter Sanctuary.
Sounds like Amaruda
Hikari gonna be new Mirei, also i also think same thing about Fated one of Time design look like Bavsargra.
You too huh? I'm so on that, Bavs and Keter are like my two loves in Standard, she's effectively uniting that while being wielded by the vanguard equivalent of Homura (one of my fav characters ever) is just pure fan service to me man! Glad you thought so too lol.
Man Akina’s going to need a new Rezael just to have a chance
Yeah Blangdmire Hard counters Rezael. Binds rears Face Down, probably turns off divine skill, and prevents revive skill on the following turn. This Angel's wings might be clipped...
I play Raidraptors in yugioh, in your opinion would Raidraptors be part of Dark States or Brandt Gate?
Imo I'd say Brandt Gate, their mechanical appearance and more militaristic nature meshes better with the Brandt way of things!
Whoever came up with Disastrous Slurper need to rethink their life for thinking of such a name
Or a raise 😂
I love blangmire, hate the twist, and I'm bothered by the fact bushi has been printing vanguards with defensive skills only to make a vanguard that just says no to it
One single time and it most likely works the same as Deletors where reriding cancels it out.
@@elin111 Yea. So unless there's some magic way to reride your vanguard during your opponent's turn my point still stands. Siana, Androld, and Lascaria can't make use of their defensive effects when Blangmire goes divine
We're gonna be in a "bind" with Blangdmire huh? ... I'll see myself out.
As I coped. To save someone's life, you need another one to do so. He's gonna die to save his Imoto. Then his Imoto will win the Fated Clash inorder to back to the future moment to stop her Onii chan.
And then perhaps do it again. And again. And again.
@@godsman00 If there's another fated clash in the future, that means more units with divine skill💀
Man, Gear Chronicle's going to be PISSED.
Or proud 😁
Bit worried that Blangdmire would eventually get enough bind-face down stuff for his Divine Skill to be activated on t3 going first.
Locking out Vanguard skill while someone's still on their G2 is just kinda a guaranteed loss.
it will either be a cont skill that require opponent to be on g3 or its an act skill so the ride up will disrupt it probably the first one tho
You have to admit, you have to be really dark to get Masanori that Scared
Masa was a real one, Suou must've been even REALER
Which 1 of the fated cards would you choose?
Honestly it's between Rezael and the 7th fated one, depends on what she chooses
I feel like Akina beats Suo by either using both rezael and hikari's fated one card or rezael getting a new form
Edit: Future Hikari and Hikari existing in the same place at the same time. Even more Fate Stay Night references
oooo Maybe a new Rezael which changes Akina's fate? That'd be a twist.
Oh boy the Emiya is strong with this one.
Rip greedon players, they can’t die at six damage. But with blangmire going divine skill and greedon at 6 it is gg.
As if Shiranui Mukuro wasn't enough...
I'm the fated one of time
GC: One of us?
***ONE OF US***
Uploading so soon. awesome
Maaan I just couldn't wait bro, decided to try an get these going asap if I can help it, seems like y'all prefer that too!
Yuuuup trying to be earlier now, seems like folks prefer that so I'm gonna try my best to make it happen 💪
Rezael is gonna have a really hard time.
@@jremydadude6238 Jesus that's a brutal cycle
Now, where the motorcycle bcz this make DZ more like 5ds settingwise for me

Dark Irregular took Gyze's Zeroth ability

What do you think the 7th Fated one will do?
@@godsman00 Maybe some time similar to Rezael's revive skill but instead of reviving the dead it reverses time before death
@@lastace5422 Oooooo cool parallel there, maybe if you would take a 6th DMG you skip the turn? Naw that'd be too powerful
