This made me sad and happy at the same time. My dad is older and that is how he holds conversations that are speech like. This is because after losing memory, they just keep talking about general things. I can bet Kibaki had no idea he was in a funeral or whose funeral it was. I have watched my dad get into this stage from being a very intelligent orator. I thank God for him.

@nivaij - I know what you are saying. My Grandfather whom I am Named after had ALZHEIMER at his OLD age. I grew up with him up to Age 7 years and moved away with my Mom only for me to go Visit him once in a while whem I was a Teenager at age 17 -18 only to Find him that he Could not even remember my Name and every time I told him him he will ask me again after 5-10 minutes or so again and again. He was and is Still my BEST FRIEND (RIP). I just wish that I had more time with him but it was "GOD'S" will that "GOD" called him to be with him. Sorry Bro. for my Rumbling. Take Care. 🇨🇦☻🇰🇪
(By the way my Grandfather was an Orator also as a Senior CHIEF in KENYA and was Very much Respected, Loved & Feared at the Same time. He has PLACES named after him in Central Province - MT. Kenya - KENYA).❎

2021 and this message now makes a lot of sense. BBI this BBI that. Tangatanga hapa Kieleweke pale. Jubilee leo ODM Kesho. Too many lies and propaganda. Mzee is very wise. Only idiots will never get this message. Kenya really needs to get back to serious leadership like Kibaki was.

I'll not comment anything lest God hear me making fun of an oldman n bring unnecessary curse upon myself. Ukitaka vizuri, look down upon the aged only if u're admiring their shoes.

Really? If you understood it there was nothing there to laugh about. If you knew the man before then you'd recognize that it was not fully himself here. The crowd stopped laughing when they realized that.

So after Mzee rested today, I decided to revisit this speech. Honestly, aging is an interesting phase. I'm wondering if at this time if he had an idea it was a funeral. This the truest speech. uncalculated, unplanned. Rest easy our Hero

Only a speech therapist will understand what is happening and why his speech is that way...the repetitions, some incomplete sentences, at times struggling to find the right words...I'm just shocked by the comments..this guy is one of the few remaining people who served Kenya since Mzee Jomo Kenyatta's government..Long live the best president Kenya has ever had.

even at that state he was still wise and he was referring to inconsistency among people.
