I've found that once it's kicked. As long as you withdraw smoothly, the plug stays still. It took me a while to get the side bars. Like blooming ages, but kept going with it. The provided tensioner picks up the cam as well. So it is important to the pick.
Stephen Hemming don’t feel bad, I’ve got a Yale platinum that I’ve spent hours and hours on that I just cannot pick! My advice is to get a 35/35 one to practice on as there’s less pins 👍🏻
I'm having a bit of a mare with mine seem to have all the pins getting nice rotation on the core to were it needs to be to hit the side bars but don't seem to wanna give in going to try it again today I've been using a small flat blade driver to keep the tension in the core while swapping tool's seems to work well .. or maybe not seeing as its not opened 🤣🤣🤣
I was having the same problem pal, there has to be the exact rotation to even attempt the sidebar, I even took a picture and saved it in my phone so I know when it’s at the right angle....watch my video on using a plug spinner on a Yale platinum and you’ll see how much it has to drop 👌🏻👌🏻🔑

That’s tricky, just spent 1 hr on my new GJ Yale I haven’t got it to give in yet.
