    "Give me a demand model"
You can't model a disruption in advance, otherwise it would be expected and therefore not a disruption. You can only see the potential and model a realistic production forecast and cost.

Well, here you can assume that Tesla robo taxis take significant percentages of certain types of travel miles. Long commutes, robo taxis are going to take a large percentage, but if you are just going two miles to work it doesn’t make much difference if you drive yourself or not. Parent driving their kids to band or soccer or whatever, taking them to school, robo taxis will dominate as parents can then just stay home or at work. Drives to dense urban areas with limited expensive parking, robo taxis take a large share of those trips.
So it IS possible to look at various kinds of travel needs and see what percentage of travel miles each is and have reasonable assumptions about how much Tesla robo taxis will be used for each category and then arrive at a ballpark for percentage of total travel miles that Tesla robo taxis will take. I have not done this, but then I work in a call center and am not an “analyst.” Unless someone wants to hire me, because I guarantee I can do a much better job at it than any “analyst” I have seen.

You don’t know what demand is? It’s not disruption. It’s what Gary did in the beginning when he made his evaluation by giving Tesla a portion of ride sharing revenue

Jeff hit it right on the head with the way FSD efficacy is measured. My wife has a disastrous effect on how my own intervention actions are counted - to the point where I now only use FSD V13 while driving solo. V13 is so impressive that I rarely intervene and most of those are probably comfort related and I can attribute that to having the same reaction when someone else is manually driving me around. I suspect, as I learn the FSD driving style, the number of those interventions will decline. For those of you old enough to remember the gas shortages of the 70’s, driving in a car pool was always most stressful when a new driver was added to the pool. 😊😊😊

Gary makes a lot of good points. The problem with Gary's approach to me is if you wait for the product to prove itself and is in the real world making money..... It's too late The price has gone through the roof. In my view you have to take a certain amount of calculated risk to take advantage of the technology and the CEO that has proven himself over and over again. If he can land a rocket the size of a 20-story farm silo between two chopsticks and shuttle astronauts back and forth to the space station among many other incredible things he is not going to have any problem proving that robotaxis are for real and Optimus will be for real.

Gary assumes 26% growth of regular Tesla's for the next 10 years. Those regular Tesla makes say 6000 in profit for a 1 time sale. Yet a robotaxi will make 50k a year for 10 years or 500k total profit. Which production will Tesla focus on going forward ? The answer is simple. Plus a single robotaxi will take about 5 regular cars off the road so Tesla gets to much higher replacement levels of ice vehicles 5 times faster. Gary is not factoring in a 100x higher profit potential of 1 robo taxi vs 1 regular Tesla. Elon knows this. Making regular teslas will grow a little over the next 10 years but the production of robotaxis will be the explosive growth. At 100x more profit and 5 times faster replacement of ice cars , robotaxis will be their ENTIRE focus. Bank on it

Gary, you are not bearish. You are using rational analysis. Even disruptive companies have limits in increasing profit.

Dan, catch phrase, Ives it awesome. He brings Jersey to Wall Street. I don't agree with Gary on quite a few things but props, he models out to 2030 and DCFs from there. What do most analysts guess out to? End of the quarter?

Gary is massively undervaluing robotsxi. Optimus, Semi, Cybertruck, Energy and new products.
He is the perfect reason why you should never make a CFO CEO.
    Lack of vision.

As a Tesla owner, in terms of overall driving capability, technologies, and overall design, it would be difficult to match the Tesla's IMO
Even in the EV space, not all EVs are built the same, let alone the ICE cars

Dan/Jeff point out the future positives ... but Gary keep buyers feet safer on the ground with the present reality cautions ...that should affect your price targets... conclusions/interpretations ... casting your bets ... ... yes you can buy a big chunk of tesla, but there is big risk ... you shouldn't take more risk than you can handle ... diversify

I don’t like when the older gentleman talks because he says things like I can’t put the robots in because they don’t exist yet. Words are important so we’re all imagining these robots guys when you see a robot. Just delete the video cause they don’t exist yet.😂
