@@wb-1343 The problem with Platformer mode is the endless potential with how the physics work. In theory, its probably possible to get 44.7 (don't take this as me saying thats 100% true, just a guess cuz of how the cube can move mid-air and the endless little optimizations that can be made.) Micro-walking and ledging n shit is now really a GD reference (literally) a GD reference
@@Barnacle I'm still not convinced sub 45 is possible honestly, unless there is a big glitch that can shave off a good amount of time I don't think anything past 45.30 is currently doable, the current wr was achieved yesterday and it's a 45.404, which is only 0.113 seconds off from TAS, which I don't think a human will ever get to that level due to humans being incapable of everything perfect to the frame like a robot can.
a thing i've found is that you can do the thing at 0:52 in one cycle(?) when you time a jump right when it's going down, and if timed right your icon is almost touching the ceiling spikes (no recording, but can try to)
