LET'S GO!!!!!!!! Move forward, gain two. But, sometimes you must move forward without gaining anything. But you will still move forward. Never stop! Keep going! And light the way forward!
hearing Ace Combat 7's main leitmotif for a brief few seconds and remembering the mission in the lighthouse made me realize that the quiet zero premise in the final episodes are just a mirror match reference to AC7 -both have giant moving objects with a force field -both have only one capable pilot bringing said object down -both house a ton of drones -even moments where said massive object's force field gets destroyed from inside
@formortiiswarhawk7255 Miorine is pretty much Cosette, who herself was essentially Ace Combat’s take on the Gundam Peace Princess archetype, particularly Lacus and Audrey. Guel is Count, the arrogant rival later turned steadfast and loyal friend to the MC. El4n and El5n = Tabloid, a seemingly friendly person that’s hiding some secrets. The Elans being expendable clones for Peil, Tabloid being an anarchist of Belkan heritage that follows AWWNB’s ideology. Chuchu and Huxian are rough and tomboyish female pilots who are not afraid to throw hands. Nika and Avril are both mechanics who found themselves getting dragged into the plot against their will. Finally, Sophie and Norea are a pair of violent and unstable mercenaries much like Mimic Team were. If this was all an intentional reference, considering how much Gundam inspired Ace Combat (AC4’s plot draws quite a few parallels to War in the Pocket), we’ve gone full circle.
I think Hush, from the last mission, sounds _very fitting_ for the final battle between Suletta and Eri. Triumphant, haunting, and intense all at once.
