He then spent the next 2 games being ignored and not getting the opportunity to grow into the matches (which he needs due to lack of game time) thereby leading to poor performances. He finally gets a proper chance against Dortmund but looked rustier than ever thanks to the pressure of the CL combined with feeling untrusted by his teammates, clearly in his own head, getting frustrated, leading to silly mistakes which damages his confidence further. He looked better against Southampton but it's clear that even they were building their defence around blocking and smothering him. And that seems like the issue Potter has no solution for, teams know how dangerous he is and so have their fullbacks an extra yard back then triple team him whenever he beats a man. Potter needs to make tactical adjustments to get the most out of Mudryk because right now they're smothering him, every game this goes on hurts his confidence more and more so they need to be on top of that aswell, psychology is hugely important with young players so I pray there are an army of therapists at Cobham keeping on top of these guys mental health because I'd hate to see yet another young player have their career stall at Chelsea especially when we're relying on these guys to become superstars over the next 3-5 years.
Am so happy to be the Blues fan always for that and nothing will make me to change that fact but sometime we as a player have to also change the patharn of football situation in the pitch and let our heart speak for us that we need a winning all the time........ He's being encouraged to not be shy to take on players. That's lovely to see. We often forget that these men are in fact boys in need of encouragement. They miss home. They miss their mum's food. They miss their family. Everything is different. Everything can be overwhelming. You encourage them and watch them blossom. Mudryk seems to be a big game player. He loves the noise and the pressure. The challenge will be to perform day in and day out. How do you do that? Encourage him to do the basics of HIS game day in and day out.

And i dont know how day do their trainings.. but the players should understand that each time they are in or close to opponent's box 18 and they have few bodies in the box or may be for a rebound or anything, the players should understand the ball should go up not a ground ball or a low ball. It should go up, this case it could result to an handball or goal.. the chances of scoring is high.. Unless in a place of clear chances or 1 on 1 thats when you could put the ball down..
I don't know why I think this season we are going to suffer we may even loose all of our matches until the end of the season but once potter get his tactics we may be unstoppable next season , I want to trust this guy
There is just some soul missing. Players like Tomori and Abraham should’ve been kept and built around. Bringing in another English midfielder would also help with that. Someone like Rice should be bought.
