It might be a little harsh, but I'm sick of "fathers and husbands" being retarded. I know it's just a story, but in real life how do most of them act. I'm a divorced heterosexual male, father of 4 adult daughter's and grandpa to 3 grandchildren. I've learned so much from watching lesbian dramas. If Jade in Rich Man's Daughter would have had more strength to deal with her dad, but then again, he died alone in the end. Being a homophobic a hole gets you nowhere. It's actually helped me. After 13 year's I've finally found a woman who sees me for me, yes she's in the same age range as my older 3, but as what 1 of them said" as long as she makes you happy Dad" and she does. Do you know how it feels waiting your whole life for someone to see you for you, and finally realize that" love has no age or gender". So thank you for showing the strength the main character had, granted she murdered her a hole father and husband, but their idiocy needed to be gone.
