IMO, the umpires missed that call on number one - looks like the edge of the shoe gets the “black” of home plate at 2:50, and the run should count instead of being ruled out.
If one watches basketball enough, you will notice traveling is rarely, if ever, called anymore.
NBA traveling is never called any more, but miss that home plate by a millimeter, and you'll lose the game, son.

The "black" isn't part of home plate. Only the white part.
There is no black of home plate.
