Hey friends, sorry for the delay! Hope you enjoy this new Raft design, and thanks to all of lantern gang that helped figure it out! See you all again soon :)
Hey playing on xbox since console finally got released lol, i did use the horizontal beams for the floor. Just a change i did that you couldn’t do at the time was in the cabin the front three windows i instead did three short horizontal beams and it gives much more visibility. Awesome build though.
I'm playing on playstation idk if it's just me making it more complicated then it is but I am having a hard time following this tutorial mainly just the foundation part ik its 13 long and 7 wide but I'm trying to count it to see how many you place on every side from the main four and I'm not quite getting it right anyway you could those numbers for my poor over complicated brain 😅 like how many you put on the left, right, up, down would make this easy for me and the rest is easy to follow
I spent around 6 hours building this, in survival mode ofc. I had a lack amount of resources (as a beginner) so I did make lot of the basket thingies that catch stuff when it goes by. though I spent 6 hours, I just finished the basic structure and the fuel placement, I stopped here because I couldn't find a Purifier, that's why I'm heading to Tangaroa rn. Well designed raft and good to spend time in it as a Solo or Duo player, thanks for the video! 🙏
My friend was surprised of my "hard-work" as he mentioned, me building the whole boat by myself wasn't that easy to do, but I managed somehow to make a place, a home where my friend and I can really have fun in, (we finished tangaroa but forgot to save the game, I had to re-do the whole thing again, all alone), tomorrow we will be adding the last pieces and making the boat looks better!
This is super helpful, I just got Raft a couple days ago so I'm still very new to it but I really enjoy survival games in general, I just tend to have a hard time visualizing and mentally planning things I'm going to build in my head before they're actually built when it comes to the base building side of things so having a general blueprint to look at like at 3:24 is beyond helpful and saves me so much tearing down while I try to build a similar boat, I would've never even thought to try using roofing as the hull like you've shown in the video, so good
i also added two more floors that get smaller and smaller, the one above the nav cabin is the bar/grill area, and above that is the bedroom :) and on top of that, a zipline that goes all the way down to the nose! you can zip to any floor with this :D
I finished raft and I made a decent raft practically a boat the only problem I had was I couldn't make a realistic cabin. you know like when you enter a bridge of a ship you see the controls in front of you. unfortunately because of the antennas needed for the relay I had to put it on top of the roof outside. what was frustrating to build
Hi, I think you should remove crop pots for trees from the animal area, because they should be able to step on the plot and then escape. In general - very good video
If you want to have a better view from the living room - just replace the solid wood window with the grass windows(they look like sticks). Also one engine is useless(only 90 foundations), so players can get rid of them, which allows to lover the fuel needs and free some space
Good point with the window, but the second engine does actually make you go faster so long as you have less than 100 foundations! I've covered this in other videos, but a second engine on a small raft makes you go about ~0.5 m/s faster than 1 engine will
love the build! just got raft recently and finding your channel has been super helpful! i would love to see more medium sized build for solo players or 2 people that are themed like this would be awesome.
This is an excellent, well-explained video. I'm not going to copy it exactly, but it gave me several helpful ideas to integrate in my own raft. Thank you so much.
Wow, that is amazingly compact and super useful! Thanks! And it looks nice too - well done! I think boiling it down to something as neat as this must be the hardest exercise in raft, because I find it so easy to go overboard with gathering everything. All I end up with is 100 bases for storage, more than 30 collection nets, and a huge headache whenever I get to a location ;)
Love your videos! Can't wait for Raft on console 5/22/2024! Pre-ordered and beefing up on the video watching in anticipation. Thanks for the awesome tutorial and build idea videos! Immensely helpful!
Ive built this in my Raft game but ive noticed with the Chapter 3 update, the pipes dont go through Triangle floors so i had to pipe a bit extra on the right side of the raft to get water flowing to the animal pens, but all in all. i love this design, it has eveything i needed
place a upside down triangular solid wall on the bottom then place a half wall on top of it then use a upside triangular wall and angle your cursor so you can rotate it then boom
@@qnonymou5 'they', 'their' and 'them' have been used as singular pronouns for hundreds of years, for situations where you don't know the gender of the person you're referring to. An example: "Someone dropped their wallet! I hope they will be OK without it. Maybe I can return it to them?"

i wish u would cut less, i absolutly do not understand where tf the waterpipes ar going. one is going into the room for the water tank but where does the other one go? other than that its awsome im already working on it
I must admit I love this one and have tried to replicate it, but I'm not able to manage the second floor, On the side that goes up, I can't figure out how to make the floor above. It is not possible to put any support pillars there either. So how did you fix it? Just so I have said it, I have just started to play 😀
i dont understand the second piping. Why and where do i need to bring the piping to and why do i need to take it outside when it gets connected through the floors. It maybe sounds dumb but im a beginner
Mostly so that you have options for getting back into your raft from the water. It can be super annoying to swim around the whole thing trying to find a single door
I would probably shift it so that the sail is either on top or behind the upper room, and then put the windmill in the front. The windmill hadn't been released when I designed this, so it was a little bigger that I anticipated!
@@oUt_Of_fUeLL thank you for the generous offer! I hope this'll be available in the future. Right now, I'm still trying to do thr entire sweep on my own, as I'm very much a noob and clutz at this. But in the future, YES, will definitely want to try playing this with a teammate or two. 😊
How do you connect the part near the door to the roof sections? Nothing is connecting for me there and I don't see in the video how to connect these parts
If you go into the build menu and look at the triangle options, if you hover over them you'll be able to see upside down triangles as well. Simply use a combination of those upside down triangles and half wood walls!
That part specifically needs to be done with the "floating triangles hack". For some reason, that allows pipes to go through the floor, and it costs the same amount as a normal floor!
@@Alidove_ Really wish this was specified in the video. Destroyed all my horizontal pillars to redo the floor and it still isn't working so i'll probably have to abandon the design.
Hello! I don't quite understand the piping on the right side (for the sprinklers). How are they connected? Through the floor? Or like on the outside like the left side?
I don't think there's a great way to add a floor. I suppose you could make one above the engine caps. However, the main design is for a tugboat. Tugboats are made to tow larger boats, so you could always pull a larger boat behind you!
@@Alidove_ im just thinking because i want to play multiplayer and their aren't many designs of a duo raft because this one looks like it can only suite one person and im also sure that sometimes water can clip through the first floor do you have any good raft suggestion's/ design's

pillar glitch ? i thinks it's doesn't work at newest version. i stucked building 2nd floor beacause when i try to destroy the pillar , my 2nd floor break up
I am having major issues trying to get the structure / housing around the engines. I can set the side flooring up, and an angeled piece up but i can't seem to do anything directly in the middle above the engine. Is there a certain part to use? I tried putting the structure up first then the engine but it wouldn't allow me to. Maybe this is a part 3 update? I just started the game. Any advice would be super appreciated.
For protecting from shark. If u need to have reached metal ingots stage. Then u can just reinforce the outer boundary of ur raft foundation with metal. Then shark wont eat it.
UPDATE: Nvm the answer is walls not pillars. How did you place the floors on top of the roof slanted pieces at the front? It won’t let me and I can’t place pillars on them.
