After almost 1000 KMs, I like mine more than the day I bought it. Great around town bike, I rarely, if ever, use first gear. Cruises at 55mph at about 5k rpm on the road. Best 5k USD I ever spent really. Thanks Honda

I was kind of expecting these bikes to be boring, but then I was amazed at how far motorcycle technology has come in the past few decades. Even though I have the money, I wouldn't replace my 2016 CRF250L; I'm emotionally attached. I have experienced so many memorable trips; from long road trips to climbing 2000 plus meter mountain peaks off road. When I replaced the rear sprocket with a 45 tooth sprocket it totally transformed the bike; it burns out in third gear at full throttle when I'm riding off road and I have ridden racing motorbikes in the past such as the Yamaha WR450R. If you need a gear indicator on the display, other than a neutral indicator; you don't ride your motorbike enough. I noticed that they still haven't changed the hideous tail light.

I think they are planning on making that a DIY for now. The 450 is too high strung for your typical adventure bike rider. You can put bigger fuel tanks and even better windscreens on the CRF 450 of you want. Probably best to leave it as a DIY for the Hardcore that know what they are doing the to dumb it down enough for a mass market.

Want to sell a load of bikes - updated XR400 with electric start and good tuneable suspension components in a modern chassis with quality components (ie: hydraulic clutch, fat bars, disc brakes, etc) and a low seat height. Us older dirt riders want XR reliability and don’t need maximum horse power...but our old knees and half decent riding skills still require better suspension than what is currently offered on the current air cooled bikes. (Beta Xtrainer competition). There needs to be something between the high end racing bikes, and the beginner bikes that look like they should be sold at Canadian Tire.

If you check on every forum someone eventually pops out with "the best dual is the dr400", so I wonder why honda doesn't straight slap a 400 in this?! Because this 300 (280) is a bit slow for a lot of buyers, and it just miss so little to be the new perfect dual
I just reminded that in some markets honda is still selling the xr. That would be enough perfect already

Honest question i bought a 2019 crf 250L in black and loved it, very functional bike. My one major issue was the signal lights, why not add flexable ones off the 450L? Or atleast make a honda genuine accessory kit for the 300L and rally, slightly bummed out that they arent full led, cuz my tail light on my 250L kept breaking the filament from vibration offroad, still happy to finally see a 300 rally though

Hello yes halogen headlight and incandescent turn signals are so 1980 please explain why they would not be installing LED all around for all markets? The price point would not discourage buyers I'm sure it would likely attract them, they last a lot longer brighter safer and use less power. I'm still going to buy the 300L and at the same time I'm going to be ordering up LED headlight and turn signals perhaps you can provide the part numbers for those thank you!
