How Half-Life 2 Strider sounds were created...

- Ok so this is basically what I did:
1 - I imported Minecraft Cat meows to FL Studio
2 - I added a low pass filter so only the fundamental frequency of the meow can be heard
3 - I added some MAD Distortion using the Sausage Fattener... you can use NANI if you want
4 - And finally, I added some huge reverb
(This video is a joke btw, Half-Life came out in 2004 and Minecraft was released in 2011. Still, the theory of a cat meow used to create the strider sounds seems plausible).
i still have nightmares about that cat...

you know they actually did use cats to make strider noises which is why they sound so cat-like

he used fl studio
then used a parametric eq to cut off the highs, reverb, and sausage fattener to compress & distort the audio
Does anybody even know Minecraft literally came out in 2011 and Half - Life 2 came out in 2004? Which means that the Minecraft cat isn't the true sample to the Half - Life 2 strider sound. I still don't get why people are praising this man thinking that he discovered the sample but that isn't the real sample for the strider..
yeah, I even pointed out in the desc. that the video is supposed to be a joke but people don't often read those.

You might not know this but cats exist in real life and the cat sounds in minecraft are imitations of real life cats. Fascinating stuff isn’t it
