Puddletown bookshop is worth a detour if passing by. Anything of specific interest has usually been listed online but I tend to come away with something to read. Quiet village location but Blue Vinny pub is up the road for refreshment.
Glad you reminded us of this video Jules, it didn't come up for me for some reason. As an Aussie of English descent I get such a sense of joy, looking virtually around these lovely Southern towns at the architecture and I guess I can only say quaintness. Perhaps one day I get to experience it for real
splendid selection of vintage pbs Jules........ Zane Grey was indeed incredibly popular in days gone by... his real name was Pearl Zane Grey and he was born in Zanesville in Ohio... he even named one of his classic westerns Betty Zane !
Thank you for your visit, it was lovely to meet you. Glad you enjoyed your visit to Puddletown Bookshop.
Thank you! It was wonderful and I'm really pleased with my books. Look forward to visiting you again in the New Year🙂
Thanks Jules this was a wonderful calming watch. ❤😊
Excellent, thanks my friend 🙂

Absolutely, I had a book off them through mail order and made the detour. I did well, far better than at Honiton.
Nice. Thanks for the take along .
Thanks Sylvan 🙂

Thanks Anthony, something odd went on with this one, that's why I re-shared it again. If you ever get over here, you'll have a list of places to go!
That was fun, so many wonderful books😊
Thanks Sherri, lots to take in, in just one day🙂
@@JulesBurt it's amazing. I really enjoyed it a lot.

That's awesome my friend. I have actually read a Zane Grey and really enjoyed it, classic indeed.
Cool video! Thanks.
Thanks 👍🏼
I wish I had a bookstore like that near me!
It was great in Puddletown but I'm not sure how fast their stock turns over. Worth a trip once a year I think.
4:03 Slipcased hardcover 3 volume of Emily Dickinson's letters from the Belknap Press. Very fine, rarely seen!
I wouldn't know but glad your impressed!
Great to see all those Folio Society books on the shelves. Those are pretty uncommon in the USA. You would never see that many in a bookstore here.
They did have a great collection of these. I like them but only have two in my collection.
Cozy video.
Thanks 🙂
3:27 All four volumes of Mayhew's London Labour and London Poor in the Dover reprint. You rarely see the complete set these days.
Fantastic! These stores are very well established with quite large inventories.
