balvinder saluja - No, that is called fraud and is a crime. You will be arrested, jailed, put on trial, and then returned to your home country in disgrace. Please note that the US authorities have likely taken note of your name and your comment for future reference.

Who's paying the attorney's fees for these so called "asylum seekers"? Where are "refugees" getting the $$ to hire attorneys or is the U.S. government picking up the tab?

I was thinking the same, most of them go to Non-profit organisations which would help them with living in USA till there court case is heard , and they get to work eg. cleaning etc and then with that money they earn, they pay for legal fees..
      Not sure about the others....

Most (if not all) nonprofits are contractors for a government agency. The Catholic Church is one of the biggest nonprofits.
The latest wave of so called "refugees seeking asylum" from South America is not a new problem. Over the past several years, the U.S. State Department (and private contractors hired by the department) have been relocating Syrian refugees in Europe and the United States at a cost of over $10,000 a person. Once these migrants are resettled in another country, they receive free or subsidized housing, medical care, affirmative action for job placement, and other government benefits and a blatant example of how it really pays to be a refugee.
These lucrative benefits encourage even more migrants to abandon their country with full knowledge they can take advantage of our broken immigration system and live high on the hog at taxpayer's expense. The recent caravan of bogus asylum seekers from South America is the latest wave of migrants taking advantage of naive sympathizers who believe the U.S. should be a battered wife shelter for anyone who can't manage the basic skills of living in their own country.
In fact, thousands of migrants from all over the world have already been resettled in the U.S. and the cost of providing them with social and economic services is placing an enormous burden on the communities where they're now residing. Along with curbing the resettlement of refugees and rejecting obviously bogus applications for asylum, Trump's proposal to dismantle Temporary Protected Status and DACA/Dreamer is another remedy that can't be implemented fast enough.
By the way, if you want to know who's really behind the mass immigration, do a search for "Partnership For A New American Economy" (FWD.US) and you will see all the multinational corporations who want to replace every damn last American worker with immigrant labor.
