I even know all about the noble gases, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, the transition metals, and the halogens. We don’t go incredibly deep into the transitions metals, however we most certainly learn how many elements there are.
Doesn’t mean they didn’t exist, they are still atoms that are there… they just hate existing so much they decide to not do that, but it still exists, nihonium is completely useless and what ever but I mean… it sounds cool

Any chemistry teacher who assigns memorization of the periodic table, is wasting class time, and isn't doing an effective job teaching chemistry. Memorizing the periodic table isn't a useful skill to have. It's much more important to understand how to predict an element's properties from its position on the periodic table, or understand why the periodic table has that shape, than to simply memorize its contents.
I knew it was 118 because I read a series of books called itch there’s itch itch rocks and itch crafts it’s all about this kid that is in love with science and had in his possession radioactive rocks that could kill if u had them for to long they are really good books definitely recommend to 10-14 years
