Without determined principals we are destined to stagnate as a civilization. This piece soberly presents the two sides to many issues facing modern society for what they are in their simplest terms.

"Live with questions that may never be answered rather than answers that may never be questioned", what an absolutely astounding and introspective thought. I think if more people thought about the implications of, and the underlying message of such a profound statement, there would be many more scientifically literate, creative, and curious people in the world. It reminds me of when Hitch stated that, "People would rather go for a conspiracy theory than no theory at all". Great video!
Jordan Gabrielle Agree. Very beautiful statement.
Even religion calls you to question it, so that the statement is not applicable.
It may be introspective, but it is far from astounding.
I seem to be saying this a lot when I look at videos like this, but I'll say it anyway:
Just.
Plain.
BRILLIANT!
Looks just like a well put together Discovery Chanel opening. Well done!
I like this video. We must be brave enough to stand up for reason and the kind of thinking that will help the human race in the long run. This takes real COURAGE. We are truly brief passengers on this planet Earth and there are so many questions. Like the Maria Rilke quote, "Live the questions!"
To live with questions that may never be answered, rather than with answers that may never be questioned. LOVED IT
I choose

I know...I just enjoy them each year...
Excellent!! Bravo Zulu.
This talk of 'war', 'fight' or 'conflict' is probably going to polarize atheism and theism further. I think these words tend to break down doxastically open conversation pretty quickly.
Can’t we just have both and to each their own?
out fucking standing
So good I won't ever bother entering this contest. Bar too high! Congratulations to the director, Risenape.
I chose sides a long time ago. Keep in mind though that a reasonable person is not as prone to fight with anyone. Perhaps this is why the religioso's all over the world are kicking our asses? (As well as each others) I'm just sayin'...
When a theist says that they give up reason and rationality for religion, you can tell them "I agree with you that religion is unreasonable and irrational"
I love it and i love everything about it
I have to say that if this was the winner, the rest must be worse trash! And somehow I wouldn't be surprised if the only thing that earned it the prize was its artwork, since it was just a conglomeration of slogans and misconceptions.
Choose a side. Choose the truth of God, or choose the death and hell of evolutionary and athiestic deception.
Gosh, this is one goofy video for true believers in an imaginary conflict between two allegedly different groups of fundamentalist believers. Pick a side - geesh, both sides described in this video are utterly nuts. Same bs, flip side of the coin.

Imaginary Conflict? The conflict between doubt and faith has raged on for the known human history. People will always be making unsubstantiated claims, and then there will be skeptics like ourselves there to criticize and question. The conflict has reached a boiling point because today we have three major monotheistic religions that threaten to dominate the public discourse and jeopardize the secularity of the civilized world.
I'm sure you think that there is no conflict, I'm sure you think that rational thinkers and religion can coexist. You are one of the more frustrating aspects of this conflict, as you allow the fundamentalist to exist. You give them credence, all the while creating false flag, and strawman arguments that religion is not harmful to society.
Religion, and mythical, non-rational and non-logical beliefs are poison to humanity.
Riffy More nuts. Of course any complex relationship has conflict, and correspondence. You're statements sound like something spoken by a true believing conflicted simpleton. It appears your appreciation of actual human history is exceedingly naive.

I would contest it is you that are a conflicted simpleton, you offer no rebuttal other than restating my original point and resorting to insults. The true form of an imbecile.
Riffy In that case, it takes one to know one, prince charming.

If you're willing to accept the label, all the better. Labels mean nothing to me, but the actual discourse here is quite telling of whom actually utilizes logic, and whom just flings insults when they get upset that someone has a valid opposition to their ideology.
wasting your time
Awesome video!
