I laughed, cried, got angry…yes I felt all kinds of emotions and thoroughly enjoyed this book! This is one of my favorites. I loved how you brought out the personalities in the characters and was probably the reason I felt all the emotions. Thank you for sharing this book. I loved the narrator! PS…this is the second time listening and I’m sure it won’t be my last!
The paranormal aspects of this romance were unexpected. However, the story itself was golden. Mistaken identity, twin brothers, one a rake and one respectable, and a pining young lady. I enjoyed following through this house party. There were sweet moments, golden moments, and cringy moments. It was a great story and I'm looking forward to checking out more in this series.
I loved this story. It has so much sweetness, just the right amount of realistic angst, and the happily ever after is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing this here.
A complicated but really enjoyable story. When Ian did not care enough to leave with Conrad he ought to have made a short attempt at explaining to Jess promising to return as himself if possible. Or he could have written a letter giving it to Lord Shearsby her cousin. If he was not so utterly focussed and attentive to her Conrad could have lost her completely. It was lovely to observe Conrad’s complete devotion from the beginning, a total contrast to Ian’s shallow flirtations. I love witty banter and I thoroughly enjoyed the “history” Mindy. Just picturing Lord Byron and Lord Wellington planning the Battle of Trafalgar in the green toga room makes me chuckle. My favourite scene was the one in her painting room and what Lady Rachel said. And your narrator Victoria Brazier is excellent. I love the smooth refined voice she used for Conrad. I am a new subscriber looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Mindy for sharing your writing talent with us. This book was a Joy to listen to and the narrator wow she really can tell a story cant wait for the next book.😍
Enjoyed listening to this book. I’m glad I heard the end of it before it was time to go to bed or else I would’ve had to stay up till midnight listening to the end. It was a very interesting story with a new twist. It’s the only one I’ve ever read, including twins. You did a smashing job. I hope I can find your other books to listen to.
1:02:12 - I am loving this book so far... I kinda gave up on Regency novels - because they were just so bad... but dang! I'm so glad I clicked on this one. It is an overused story premise - spoiler - twins that trade places - but the title clearly states that, and even though it feels like a predictable plot - I am completely enthralled with this book so far. In one hour I am in love with the two main characters - I sit here wondering how that is done - but, seriously, I don't care! I love them! and now I am invested in their well being - so dang it all - I can't stop listening! lol 2:14:38 - One thing that is frustrating is - if there is going to be mistaken identity and the other main character is not going to be told - at least make it believable... sigh... that is one thing that is so annoying in romance novels - the stupid vapid reasoning why a misunderstanding is not immediately communicated or rectified... sigh - and I really liked this book and was enjoying every minute... till now... smh Even my love of the two main characters isn't enough.
3:28:25 I'm noticing through here (and before) that the reader speeds up the words. So fast I'm trying to keep up with it. She has a good voice and reads very clear but the areas where it speeds up is uncomfortable. I feel I have missed some things
But a lady of the house is not going to give up one that will make the ceiling uneven at dinner. That is a major Social no no. It says, you don't have a large enough.Circle that you can fill a table. And she's definitely not bringing the vicar. In

Well done Ms Authoress! Excellent effort at real English for the period.
Also it's refreshing to hear clean materials 🥰

Thank you for such a lovely story, I really enjoyed it.
Really enjoyable, now for your other Books
Thank God it's clean love story, not lust stories like other books.
That is the goal. Thanks for listening!
Thank you for posting this. The narrator's voice is pleasant and relaxing to go to sleep to.🥰
Glad you enjoyed it!
I hate when narrators lull me to sleep! (This narrator does not! 😊) I don't like to miss any of the story...
Am i the only one that was rooting for Mr Easton?

A nice easy listen. Thanks for the upload. 👍

I loved it. Thank you ❤ My greatest dream is to become a narrator. Because of that I also enjoyed listening…. Well done both of you
I hope we get to hear you reading something soon. The smoothness of male voices seem to be the hardest to master.
Thanks so much for sharing..❤
Thank you for posting this I don’t read romance novels normally this was a good “read”😊

Lovely book enjoyed it
I like this story but the frequency of the commercials breaks the flow and I lose track of who is speaking
You may want to try premium RUclips which eliminates commercials, so much easier .
Ugh. Way too many commercials.
Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Falling asleep in an alley by an inn waiting for a gambler? 💀💀 haha my eyes couldn't have widened any farther LOL anyway love the story so far!!
