Nat dex is the best, I’m so glad that it includes everything but dyna. If they added dyna to it then it would be ruined, I like megas they add lots to the game and z moves are great for coverage. But dyna just sucks
I'm one of the people who supported a test and I have my reqs. Blaze is insanely broken. Mega solves all the non-mega flaws. 160>120 attack so you don't need orb (which wears it down), way higher bulk, fire fighting + coverage is insane. It's not a Mon that requires SD anymore and speed boost severely limits counterplay.
Pelipper is a DECENT switch-in, and non-banded Azu knocks Blaziken out under rain with Aqua Jet while being a decent switch-in as well. Other than that, i found nothing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Enjoy it while it lasts, at least it's nice you guys were willing to try it out !

wow it's totally not like bro and fini are on every team. It totally doesn't get walled by those, and it's totally like it doesn't fit on any teamstyle except sun. The only teams that blaze fits on are sun and Koko dual screens, and on Koko dual screens mega medicham is way better due to immediate power.

I think it’s for the best because the megas we have right now means they have that special charm to them. Every Pokémon can use Z move or dynamax or even terrestralize. But not all can mega evolve. Only limited mons have that liberty

Regular blaziken is so ass I kinda went "whatever" when mega-blaziken was unbanned but that extra speed and bulk really makes all the difference. Regular blaziken might hit just as hard with a life orb but even a strong resisted or weak neutral attack puts regular chicken in range to die from life orb/helmet/blitz chip. Mega Chicken does not have this problem and it has a huge speed bonus on top of that which matters so much when both regular and mega chicken frequently run adamant. You can't revenge mega chicken with a scarfer like you often can with regular. I main natdex to be clear, when they re-tested dragapult I was insulted anyone even thought that would be a good idea lol
Blaziken is way better than Mega Blaziken. Red Orb is old, I used to use Z mirror move and get 2x attack, speed boost and a nuke in the same turn. I am surprised that for you Mega Blaziken survives anything, when I use it it dies despite the extra bulk, because hp is too low and no investment.
Nat Dex OU is a banger with all the recent suspect tests, missed using stuff like Torn and Pult for a few weeks. M-Blaze has his checks in this tier with the Lati Twins and fat waters but it's constraining having to include a Blaze check in every team, I think it's getting rebanned. Almost every Blaze has T-punch/EQ/Stone Edge to hit its checks, and have to worry about SD variants 6-0ing your team. Have to run some kind of priority like aqua jet/water shuriken, M-Pinsir Aerilate Quick Attack, M-Lop/Medi fakeout. The nice thing is Blaze chips itself with its STAB and hazards can bring it in priority range.
Give us a dragon, ghost and steel evee. Actually scratch that, just give us an evee for every type and while they are at it just give a rotom for every type.
Eletric+Steel+Levitate could finally be happening then with Rotom-Steel. And with pain split + willow, be complete fucking cancer and I never wanna see it happen.

I still think Mega Chicken should have had Reckless... Would have made it a fire/fight Sharpedo (even though Blaziken came first but y'all know what I mean lmao) and a 20% damage boost to 3 insane moves, HJK, Flare Blitz, and Brave Bird, would have been insane, but also balanced in that it would eventually kill itself, giving people counterplays.
Reckless is useless because you’re overkilling anyways and don’t need more damage and even if you do, you can literally just run SD. Speedboost is 1000000% better.

Poor dude with the eevee team, tried it too for fun but unless you have 500IQ and predict the whole game perfectly the hazard setting none of them learn defog or rapid spin its painfull and no poison to remove spikes

Lando is tasked to handle so many different mons and either defog/get up rocks so it's definitely possible that Lando will get into range of Blaziken killing it. Some people believe that fini can also handle Blaze, but with most fini's not investing heavy into phys def it's not really that great at checking it. 252 Atk Blaziken-Mega Thunder Punch vs. 248 HP / 68+ Def Tapu Fini: 146-172 (42.5 - 50.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery This is vs CM fini which runs the most defense out of the standard finis and it still is getting chuncked hard, and it's even worse if Blaze SDs on the switch +2 252 Atk Blaziken-Mega Thunder Punch vs. 248 HP / 68+ Def Tapu Fini: 290-342 (84.5 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery And again, like Lando, Fini is tasked to handle other mons like Weav and Gren so it may not always be at the best of health, and can't can struggle to reocver this health back, while blaziken can switch out and come back to sweep later, since it doesn't have to try to immediately sweep. The few answers I could really think of were like PhysDef Fini which is considerably worse at checking things like Gren and Tran, Slowbro which is solid but has it's own issues, and the Mega Latis (Specifically MLatias) Then there's cores and playstyles that can alleviate many of Blazikens problems. I've fought things like MBlaze + Lele to make RKing much harder while being a great offensive core, Weav + Mega Blaze that can ruin the few good MBlaze answers, Koko + Mblaze to make it's TPunch ruin Slowbro, Sun which can make Mblaze even more difficult to handle, and Screens which can make RKing harder and giving Mblaze more set up opprotunities. You gotta run very specific mons to handle Mblaze and even then these effective cores/playstyles can make those same mons worthless against it. Mega Blaze has gotta go tbh.

A different eevee in scarlet and violet…that would be cool and all but what would it bee? Perhaps flying or ghost? People speculated flying for the longest time. Or fighting ghost, since they’re a cool pair too and one counters the other like leafeon and glaceon. Or espeon and umbreon. The colours also match the covers, purple and a brown reddish colour from the scarlet theme. That’s my prediction if they’ll make a pair in this game

The priority I was referring to was the stuff that commonly Ohko's non resists from full like grassy glide and sucker punch. Im sure without those resistances both those moves deal upwards of 70 to the chicken. Without the chip from the life orb and the extra stats from the mega form make other priority too weak to successfully stop a sweep if its played well and + now at +2 it ohko's urshifu and obviously greninja. And same as old blaziken the speed boost means that anything short of a scarf regileki doesn't out speed it. Just to be clear my point is not that grassy and sucker are better against the chicken just that they would be true counters while the jet and shuriken arent I mean that's about 2 80 base power moves when factoring in the 2x. Grassy glide is base 91 (when its priority) coming of higher base stats aswell. In short aqua jet and water shuriken are fake counters and the actually threatening priority it fully resists. Like rillaboom does 51 with grassy glide and gren does 84 with a 3 hit water shuriken + boom gets the flare blitz recoil damage. So litteraly does more. I mean you are technically correct I'm wrong it doesnt resist but that's a fake ass counter if you ask me.

They wanted to test out mons having limited three turns of being even more op than the megas before they merged the mechanic with the megas.

A different eevee in scarlet and violet…that would be cool and all but what would it bee? Perhaps flying or ghost? People speculated flying for the longest time. Or fighting ghost, since they’re a cool pair too and one counters the other like leafeon and glaceon. Or espeon and umbreon. The colours also match the covers, purple and a brown reddish colour from the scarlet theme. That’s my prediction if they’ll make a pair in this game

@@shreyaschaturvedi4247 well talking about ss ou post tundra the only priority moves we se regularly are grassy glide ice shard and sucker punch aqua jet is on 1 mon sometimes but weavile and rillaboom are borderline oppressive as revenge killers and cant revenge kill mega blaziken in comparison to the normal one as it doesnt chip itself as much however yes aqua jet does kill it.
Water Shuriken it's the most common priority in Natdex OU and it destroys Blaziken.

2. Gets nullified by sun teams which is where blaziken shines

4. The priority I was referring to was the stuff that commonly Ohko's non resists from full like grassy glide and sucker punch. Im sure without those resistances both those moves deal upwards of 70 to the chicken. Without the chip from the life orb and the extra stats from the mega form make other priority too weak to successfully stop a sweep if its played well and + now at +2 it ohko's urshifu and obviously greninja. And same as old blaziken the speed boost means that anything short of a scarf regileki doesn't out speed it.
Just to be clear my point is not that grassy and sucker are better against the chicken just that they would be true counters while the jet and shuriken arent I mean that's about 2 80 base power moves when factoring in the 2x. Grassy glide is base 91 (when its priority) coming of higher base stats aswell.
In short aqua jet and water shuriken are fake counters and the actually threatening priority it fully resists.
Like rillaboom does 51 with grassy glide and gren does 84 with a 3 hit water shuriken + boom gets the flare blitz recoil damage. So litteraly does more.
I mean you are technically correct I'm wrong it doesnt resist but that's a fake ass counter if you ask me.
