This is such a beautiful dress .. but I want to make for 5-6 years old .. how many chains to start with please help!
I was not sure what to do where the two shells were made to create the arm holes....I understand you are doing this as a treat for all, but I also struggled with how fast you moved which made it hard to stop and start the video to find my way. Hope I end up with my dress as gorgeous as yours, this is taking me hours.

A lightweight chemise would be perfect! If you can't find one that would fit that small of a child, you could put them in a camisole and shorts.
Can you use #10 cotton thread to make this dress? I use this thread to make dollies and thought the dress would be pretty in the cotton thread size.

I hope you crochet more on the top part of the dress . I did not understand it because it was too short and it looks complicated since you only show one row. As a beginner and a visual learner, it’s hard to follow. I only crochet alongside with the tutor after I watch the video few times. Again I’m a visual learner and crochet alongside with the tutor. Thank you🙏😊. Again I wish you did more row , specially for the beginners like me.

after the 3rd row of shell stitch the last row does not single crochet in between the shells. Just go shell , 3 chains shell, 3 chains.....correct? because I did the single crochet on the last row between shells and I had more shells in the end. I pulled it out and am now confused.

Hi is anyone following this at the moment? I love this dress, I am a beginner to crochet. I have got past making the sleeve holes. I have got 22 changed. Starting the next row which is increasing. I'm struggling to understand this row as it's too fast for me? I would appreciate some help with this please. Thank you Regards Mary
I believe the only increase on this row is that there are two chains after each shell and the stitch is an extended double crochet.
