brickitect, u should check out BrixInIt. All pieces and minifingers are 100 percent official and includes over 300 lego pieces. If ur not sure, check just2goods video about it
You can get D Va and Reinhardt for $32, and it will keep its value and maybe increase in value over time. Fake LEGO is worthless now and worthless in the future.
I think alot of youtubers seem to dislike non lego, but other brick companies offer a low budget way to get access to 3x the amount of bricks you would get from lego. I still buy lego sets, but I don't part them out and I take really good care of them :D
Gotta say, I really don't get the Lego purist mentality unless the pieces just suck like the BTR crap, (I used those chasis for piece sorting.) Isn't the whole idea of Lego to build whatever you can think of? It just seems limiting, especially if there is just no freaking difference between a Lego piece and off brand equivalent, but to each their own.
Complaining about prices for this kind of services is a little short sighted in my opinion. They MOC a set, source the parts, print instructions and packaging and don't have the advantages of scale and own production like LEGO has. So it's always a lot more expensive than a regular set. It's about service and surprise (and not about getting the most value for money, that's impossible with an (interesting) subscription). And tbh at the moment I'm severely bored with regular LEGO sets so if we had a reasonably priced brick service like this in The Netherlands I would find this price acceptable. However, I do agree that I would expect 100% LEGO products.
I definitely agree with your points. It really comes down to the individual. Do you want a surprise each month of LEGO and non-LEGO bricks or do you want to use that money toward a bigger, but known LEGO set. To each his own, but I think when the novelty wears off, the LEGO set choice is the best route.
While I do agree that it is a low value for what you get, especially when one build was authentic Lego and the other one was not, I would say that the pad printed minifinger is probably worth more than $4. Especially if they are authentic Lego pieces. Thanks again for the review, I don't know if you would pursue any other subscription boxes but it was good to get a taste.
If you are going to review anything you should keep an open mind. You did not give anything even a tiny chance? Custom LEGO figs cost $15 and up for quality. Some go for hundreds or more. Peace.....
I have a mixed opinion on subscription boxes. Sometimes it is worth the money because you get amazing minifigs and pieces for a cheaper price, but then there are other boxes that give you ok bricks and even some none LEGO pieces and I just am not willing to pay $30-35 for a shot in the dark
I dont think it's worth it because for 33$ for less than 100 REAL Lego pieces that's a pretty bad deal I honestly actually considered signing up for brick loot like 5 months ago and I'm glad I passed
I know off-brand isn't as fun, but as a Cleveland girl, I love the hat-haha! And the game boards are fun-I recently was trying to put a game board in my space station, and had to use a triangle printed tile which worked, but a real one would be fun!
brixinit isn't much better. but it was all genuine Lego parts. the downside was that it was just 2 medium bags of random bricks, a mini, and a small pack of the 'featured' element. oh and a tiny bag of accessories. could have got more bricks by buying a builder's box set
Hey buddy I just got a massive 11k Lego haul for 100£ with over 200 Minifigs and Sevral figs worth over 20£ each. The haul also included a boat haul worth about 5£ to 8£ 😀 I think the subscription boxes are expensive and I'd rather spend my money on thrift store hauls.
What they should do is a LEGO curation service. What I mean is real LEGO, at close to MSRP, but with an added fee, for the curation and shipping. There would be different tiers, maybe $20 MSRP, to maybe $100.
Yea sadly its not worth it. There is no way any loot box could be worth it, they could send you real Lego sets but they have to make a profit somewhere. It will always be a rip off unless Lego made there own loot box that would be sweet! Do it Lego!
I think these brick boxes are good for moc builders looking for a new idea to build perhaps. I'm starting to do my own mocs and actually prefer using non lego because you can buy cheap big sets and part them out to build new designs. It gives me the option if I like what I make to buy lego bricks to build them. I'm still waiting on lepin scooby doo sets that I spent $150 usd for 4,000 pcs and going to buy a kazi pirate ship and make a scooby doo moc pirate ship. But I do agree that is not worth $33, I'd rather look for some knock off sets for that price for parts for mocs. I do recommend buying non lego for building mocs it's alot of fun. :D
This is what I do as well. Certain sets that Lego makes I want to have and keep as a set. For just MOC parts, I go with off-brand. sometimes the QC isn't there so some pieces don't stay together well, but that isn't that often and worth the savings. You do have to be careful where the bricks come from and if they are going to be alright. Lego wins in this category because you know they will always work well with other Lego pieces.
This BrickLoot package is ok. I mean, the custom Michael Jordan Minifinger looks awesome and also the buildable Basketball display is really cool! But, the price, sports center “set” and the accessories are bad. It’s not that hard to put real LEGO Bricks and pieces in their custom subscription boxes. Plus, white LEGO tiles are easy to find and they could’ve just custom printed them like the Minifinger that was included in this box. There is still a lot of great little LEGO related things in this, but $30 is a bit overpriced for this because there’s mostly non-LEGO in it. I agree with you that it should be around $15. But, a real $15 LEGO set would kind of be better than this. It was awesome how you got it for free though lol! I definitely think this review would win the MEGA BRICK contest though! Awesome video and looking forward to tomorrow’s video soon!
Dispointed! I am truly unhappy that brickLoot doesn’t include real Lego system Bricks, for some of their builds. Especially when the main build isn’t real lego bricks, and just a pile of nonlego! ( No offense) I would say the only good thing that came out of this would have to be the build for the basketball player with the ball and the minifiger of MJ with cool details. That actually using real lego system bricks! This might be a little bit of Bias but I actually like the Monopoly board just because I have amazing memories playing it with my family. Sorry if I can being so negative with BrickLoot just want to share my thoughts. I would only pay 15 dollars with 5 dollars shipping and that’s included for 6 months. Great video Greg and thanks for sharing your honest thoughts and hope you WIN. Ps. Sorry for being a little bit inactive on the channel, been a bit busy with hanging with my family so haven’t had time to comment but I still continue watching Amazing videos EveryDay!
I agree. Brickloot is way overpriced. I think if all of it was real Lego and they included one more decent sized thing, then I would pay $25 and $5 shipping.
I can understand your disdain to this box in terms of value. No criticism there. What irritates me is you obsession with a brand. Lego is a brand and they no longer hold a patent over the brick design. The studs are part of a function and are no longer protected. This was confirmed in several independent legal proceedings around the world. Those bricks are not fake Lego… they are just not Lego. Cobi, Mega Bloks, BanBao, Sluban, Kre-O are not fake Lego. They are in their rights to manufacture the bricks, just not the entire sets. Fake Lego is a derogatory term by fanatics who should take a step back and rethink their life choices really. And quite frankly I get it in terms of Lepin as well. If Lego wants to kick sets out every few years despite demand just to supply a collector or in better terms speculator market I think people are in their right to say well fuck that. Lego isn’t losing any money if e.g. I buy a Super Star Destroyer from Lepin for 100 bucks now are they? They sold theirs years ago and made their money. I’m certainly not going to pay some collectors/speculators rent to buy one. Lepin it is then.
I see you Greg you know your sports!! PS I know you don't care for these very much so you probably don't want to buy more, but it would be cool if you got more subscription boxes (maybe even a different brand) simply for content. Once again it's up to you I just think this kind of video is cool! (: Go Warriors!
I recommend brixinit, at least its real lego if your a purist. BrIxinit is a lego subscription service with real lego pieces and pro lego building tips.

brickitect, u should check out BrixInIt. All pieces and minifingers are 100 percent official and includes over 300 lego pieces. If ur not sure, check just2goods video about it
You should try brixinit
Its really good it's all lego
You should try brixinit I tried it and it was nice
Nope… for that amount you can get a solid 30 dollar set and a polybag like dorado showdown, Rex’s rextreme offroader ect.
You can get D Va and Reinhardt for $32, and it will keep its value and maybe increase in value over time. Fake LEGO is worthless now and worthless in the future.

As a like fan I live Lego but I also enjoy other buildings brands too such mega blocks which a very close in quality to Lego.

What's wrong with not logo sets i have 2 of them and they are COOL
Exactly

@MSGTsniper Guy.. Should have done it on real lego though.
@@moonnightbricks3948 The figure is LEGO.
I like it cause I think it’s cool and I don’t think kids are gonan care if it’s fake LEGO I don’t care really
Honestly for fakes these don’t look too bad
nononononno the custom pad printed minifig is more than 4$ printing pad is expensive it goes for 15$ at least
Me: laughing in class
Teacher: What's so funny?
Me: nothing
Brain: Hey! It's Just2Good back from the bootleg hood
The pad printed figure is worth 20 dollars alone but most of the time you don’t get those ):
Well if lego ddnt make this sets, than its not FAKE.
Lego dont really have a patent for the brick itself
i am also a LEGO purist, but sometimes i am impressed by the quality of some non lego pieces
2:52 you said mini figure
Just can't win
If you are going to review anything you should keep an open mind. You did not give anything even a tiny chance? Custom LEGO figs cost $15 and up for quality. Some go for hundreds or more. Peace.....
3:41 lol what did he say? If that means the same thing as it does in the UK.......
bummed can mean disappointed or sad
It doesn’t say anywhere on the website that it includes Lego, that’s just an assumption people make.
At the price they charge, it should be.

I honestly actually considered signing up for brick loot like 5 months ago and I'm glad I passed
to be fair to the crate, they do label what is and isn't Lego. HOWEVER, the website seems to feature Lego heavily when it isn't all Lego.
This is what I love about this channel. You are one of us. You always search for the best price and always give it how it is. Nice job 👍
If anyone can not hate brick loot it is Brickitect
maybe a giveaway for the sport shop? im sure someone's kid would like it?
Nope
Why do people care if it isn’t LEGO brand? Is it for the aesthetics? I’m not hating but I’d just like to know
It’s about the improved quality and uniformity in a collection. Some people don’t care about these things, but some do.
brickitect oh! Thank you for clearing that up :)
The Minifigure is probably worth more like 15$.
The minifinger is worth £15 !
I have had a couple of brick loots there pretty cool if you like all lego.
I know off-brand isn't as fun, but as a Cleveland girl, I love the hat-haha! And the game boards are fun-I recently was trying to put a game board in my space station, and had to use a triangle printed tile which worked, but a real one would be fun!
The red hat is legit lego and I got that hat from the lego store lol so your investigating needs work lol
I love the Michel Jordan figure and you should do a brixinit box
brixinit isn't much better. but it was all genuine Lego parts. the downside was that it was just 2 medium bags of random bricks, a mini, and a small pack of the 'featured' element. oh and a tiny bag of accessories. could have got more bricks by buying a builder's box set
Jason Krynicky that’s true

Obviously there is not $33 lego in there, they still need to make a profit of course
True
like the sports theme but it feels a bit like the free offer legos you get at the lego store.good but you could get more lego with your money

I got this for $20 and $20 for this is a good deal.
How can you tell the difference between Lego and not Lego brand ?

Clark: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I would never sign up for a subscription box. Your video confirms it! I would much rather buy a bulk lot from an online auction.

Why do you say miniFINGER not miniFIGURE
I know right. SOOOOO annoying.
You’re new to the channel his son Clark calls them minifingers. The channel is based on him and his sons adventures
Greg costom minifigure can go to20 dollars
As someone who is into the custom lego community the custom figure would be the bulk of the cost. Custom figures are quite expensive to make.
I bought a lego set that was 20 dollars but went to walmart and got it for 16 dollars and opened from the left side of the box
I got one box years ago, and even though what I got was much better, it was not worth it. I'd much rather go by a $20-$30 set every month.
Is the old fishing store still worth it to get even at the more expensive prices since its retired?
Yeah it's worth it
Some of the parts in the sports pack are real Lego the hats, tennis rackets, and some of the balls, and the gloves too
idk I spent 33 dollars for 12 random mini figures. (but if they did it your way and made every single minifigure 4 dollars it would cost 48 dollars)
The ball for the minifig is about as big as the one for the built up lego guy.
How to get tricolor?
I hope brickloot sees this and makes the changes needed
Yeah there are bigger RUclipsrs that did a review on this
(No offense Greg)
And got it personally sent to them by Brickloot And Brickloot still suck
2:20 (minifigure is the right term not minifinger) still love your videos tho
The hats are from CMFs I think
They cant do lego for some things so they can do custom colors and custom pieces and custom minifigure heads

most of the non lego items we find in the UK in pound shops

Its minifigure not finger.
The figure is custom printed, so it is worth a bit more.
$33 is not worth it but I agree this need to be worth $20 because they include fake lego in this box .but the basketball player is still cool though
It's only 50 real Lego pieces so it should only be 5$
I mean I got it for free at a hockey game so,I guess it wasn’t a waste
Wow tyler clites was on lego masters
The basketball is bigger than his head
The video starts at 1:17
Okay, I'd be fine with this if they would remove the fake Lego box and made the other fake Lego stiff real
The only thing that is worth it was the Minifigure. Custom padprinted figures are not cheap.

I can get a fire truck with what price
