It was all very tasty, @Amy McLemore! We appreciate your kind compliments very much, and we are so glad to hear that y’all are enjoying our channel! Henry was so tickled to ride that ride that he is still telling about it….lol! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have an awesome week ahead!
I would go there just for the biscuits! They are my fav. bread ever. I could not believe Jennifer did not get collards..lol. She missed out right there. And the catfish is second best to Huck Finns. I'm with Brett...that broccoli casserole is the bomb!! Did anyone try banana pudding? Yum! Well...now I'm hungry..lol. You can tell I'm a fan of Paula Deene's Kitchen! Loved Henry's dance moves at the fountain! And his hat!! Too cute! Looks like fun was had by all! Have ya'll been to the Island after dark! I can watch the fountain for hours. It's beautiful. Love the tunes they play too! Was that one of ya'll's parents with you? Tell them hello and not to be shy...talk with us next time. Hope ya'll are having a great weekend and God bless!
@Cathy Hendrix, those biscuits are so good! I would love to try the collards, but I think I was the only one at the table who would have eaten them (Henry likes them sometimes)….lol! We loved the broccoli casserole there. We will have to try different dishes next time we go. So neat that they have such a variety. Most of us got the ooey gooey cakes. Brent’s parents were with us, and his Dad tried the peach cobbler. He said it was pretty good. I bet their banana pudding is good too. Thanks again for recommending Paula Deen’s! Henry said, “Thank you!” We agree with you - the Island is so pretty after dark! It is so relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs to enjoy the fountains and the music. Brent’s parents vacationed with us in the Smokies this trip, but they did not want to be on camera. We will tell them you said hello, and not to be shy. 😊Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have had an awesome weekend, and we hope that you have a wonderful week ahead! God Bless!
All kinds of southern yumminess on that table! Love both of the ooey gooey cakes We have been here a couple times and want to go back and do a video. Love your shirt Jennifer! Glad Henry got to ride his ride. Another great video.
@vafunseekers, we completely agree with you! Everything was so tasty! Those ooey gooey cakes were so rich and delicious too. We would love to see y’all do a video there too. Thank you! I bought my shirt on Amazon. 😊 Henry was so tickled to ride….and especially, in his favorite color, yellow. He is still talking about how much fun he had. We appreciate your kind words very much. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that y’all have a wonderful week ahead!
What a great video to watch on a dreary Sunday evening😊 I've been a fan of Paula's cooking and recipes for years, was nice to see all the southern comfort food classics and I don't doubt that it was delicious. I noticed there were eight options for the main courses so I figure a person would have to go twice to try everything if they were getting the "Georgia°. It didn't surprise me they offered a Butter cake as a desert option at Paula Deen's! I really enjoyed your review and video thanks for sharing.
Thank you, William. We are with you - she has some great recipes and always seems as friendly as could be. That is a very good point about going twice and being able to try everything by ordering the "Georgia." We looked at the menu for the location in Nashville and the item selection is slightly different. The one in Nashville offers meatload and black eyed peas. At some point, we may try to go to the one in Nashville to film the different menu items. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. We hope that you had an excellent weekend.
Thank you, Mary. It is definitely a great place for bringing kids. The Island now offers a wrist band that's good for 48 hours from the time that you purchase it. The wrist band gives kids unlimited rides for $39.99 and for $49.99 it includes the ropes course. We hope that you had an awesome weekend and thank you for watching.
I have eaten at both the original Paula Deans in Savannah and the one in Pigeon Forge and they where both outstanding. My husband and I are planning a trip to Gatlinburg in September and we are going to be eating at Paula's at the Island again.
We would love to visit the original in Savannah. We bet that location is so fun to visit. We've been to Paula Deen's Creek House in Savannah but heard that it has since gone out of business. We hope that you and your husband have a wonderful trip this upcoming September - what a great time of the year to visit too. Thank you for watching, Rea.
I have not heard anything about Paula Deen since her departure from Food Network. I like the concept to serve family style, food looked decent and price point was good ... BUT .... Henry's dance moves were everything! Hope you enjoy the weekend!
We agree. It seems like she has definitely gone quiet from TV after leaving the Food Network but her restaurant sure is excellent. We attended her Lumberjack Feud and attended the Pigeon Forge Ribs Fest last October and seems to really be making a presence with her businesses in Pigeon Forge area. Lol - Henry was boogying. Thank you for watching, Deb. We hope that you have a wonderful evening.
Congratulations on being first, @Dad Of3! We appreciate your kind compliments very much! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have had a blessed weekend, and we hope that you have a wonderful week ahead!
Thank you, Julie! lol, there is never a dull moment with Henry. He always has something funny to say or a facial expression that is one of a kind. Thanks so much for watching and we hope that you had an excellent weekend.
Thanks, @Sean! Our boys are growing and growing….time, slow down! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have a wonderful week ahead!
Love the hat! Have one myself :). We have ate here once and it was great. The fried chicken is great. Glad they brought it out by accident. The best thing about this restaurant is the prices arnt insane for what you get in our opinion.
That's awesome. We're so curious to know when the opening date will be for the Buc-ee's in Sevierville. Hopefully, they'll make the annoucement sooner than later. The fried chicken is definitely the way to go and we're so glad that it was brought out by mistake. It was one of the best things we tried. The one in Nashville serves meatloaf and a couple of other different options that weren't at the one in Pigeon Forge. We hope that you guys had an excellent weekend.

All the food looked great! Hurry up and take that baby to the rides! Gentry is such sweet boy, so polite and loving to his little brother, and little Henry is so adorable, always trying to do whatever Gentry’s doing! Mocking is the most sincere form of flattery, especially when it’s a little brother looking up to a big brother! I love it and could squeeze those little cheeks off!😊❤
He couldn't focus until we finally took him to the rides, lol. Thank you so much, Kathy That is so kind. You're so right, he's always trying to be like his big brother. We hope that you have a great evening, @KathyS and thanks for watching.
Brent, really enjoyed your video! That all looked so good and the desserts looked so yummy and delicious! Henry was too interested in the ride than his response. Love those boys!
Thank you so much, Carla. That's so true. He is normally very eager to help with the outro but all that he could think about was getting on that ride this time lol. Aww, thank you, Carla. You're always so kind. We hope that you had a great weekend.

Thank you, Ms. Susie. Henry was really focused on wanting to get on the rides. We're not sure why Gentry was so tired. He may have been tired from waking up early that morning and the day prior, we were at Dollywood from rope drop until closing time. We really appreciate you and thank you for watching.
It looks like you had some extra people is that Jennifer's family the chocolate ooey gooey pie looked wonderful thank you again for a wonderful time have a great weekend ❤😊
Hi, @Lori Freeman! Brent’s parents vacationed with us this trip, but they did not want to talk in the video. That chocolate ooey gooey cake was so rich and delicious! i loved her tv shows years ago, too bad one slip up and all of her pots, pans, etc were on discount at discount closeout stores. was sad to see. but im glad to see she has a restaurant there. so, thats nice.
It was definitely sad to see but she has really made a big presence in Pigeon Forge. She also owns the Lumberjack Feud, where they host the Pigeon Forge Rib Festival.
Henry was super focused on wanting to get on that ride and the food was excellent. Thank you for watching, Bobbie. We hope that you have a nice evening. WHO-DEY!!!!

You should have gotten the fried catfish. It is probably the best I have ever eaten. The sweet potatoes are amazing, I wish I could find the recipe for them. There is something in there that makes them the best .
We will definitely keep the fried catfish in mind on our next visit. It sounds like it is a must try. Thanks for the recommendation. We hope that you have a great weekend.
Thank you, Rachelle. We went here shortly after they transitioned from breakfast to lunch so that may have also played a factor in the food being so good and fresh on our particular visit. Thank you for watching and we hope that you had an excellent weekend.
We're sorry to hear that you can't eat butter, Marc. They had some items without butter such as the roasted chicken and fried okra. We hope that you have a great evening and appreciate you for watching, Marc.
We've read some reviews that said that the food seemed like it was sitting under a heat lamp. We went right as they started serving lunch and couldn't find anything even slightly wrong with any of the food items. We can't wait to go back. The one in Nashville serves meatloaf and black eyed peas on the menu. We hope that you had a great weekend and thank you so much for watching.

@Every Day Is Saturday Everyone we knew personally that had been to Five Oaks Farm Kitchen had a bad experience but we went ahead and gave it a shot and were impressed. Glad we did.
Hi there, @battles423! That is true. However, when it comes time for you to choose your dessert, your server will ask if you want it packed up to go, or if you want to enjoy it there. Thanks so much for watching! We hope that you have a wonderful weekend!
@Lisa Harper, they do not allow leftovers to be taken home. However, when it comes time to order your dessert, they do allow you to choose whether you prefer for them to bring your dessert in a to-go box, or to enjoy there. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have a wonderful week ahead!
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV , my wife and I have visited the Mts for 37 years, most the years, 2x a year. Many great memories, our daughter with us, she's 33 now, I think of the families now, with several children, know it's a financial strain to go on vacation, times changed, I get that, but also the big picture is, without the visitors, most will close, we still love to visit the mts, mostly ride around and eat, not @ Paula Deen's,lol.

That may have been the factor for why our experience was so great since the food wasn't sitting underneath a heat lamp. The one in Nashville serves meatloaf and black eyed peas. We hope that you guys have a great experience here as well if you end up trying it.
@Every Day Is Saturday Everyone we knew personally that had been to Five Oaks Farm Kitchen had a bad experience but we went ahead and gave it a shot and were impressed. Glad we did.
Great video as always. Beautiful family ❤. Who were the two sitting with y’all?
Everything looked delicious. Would you guys recommend breakfast or lunch at Paula deen's family kitchen?
THE FOOD LOOK DELICIOUS TOO MY FRIEND
It was great, @Joey Demitro! Thanks so much for watching! We hope that you’re having a blessed week!
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV BRENT AND JENNIFER YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TOO MY FRIEND
Dose Palau’s have gluten free and dairy free options? Do you know
Unfortunately, we didn't see any immediately that stood out immediately on the menu.
I’ve heard you aren’t allowed to take any leftovers from the restaurant.
Hi there, @battles423! That is true. However, when it comes time for you to choose your dessert, your server will ask if you want it packed up to go, or if you want to enjoy it there. Thanks so much for watching! We hope that you have a wonderful weekend!
I don’t believe they allow leftovers to be taken home?
@Lisa Harper, they do not allow leftovers to be taken home. However, when it comes time to order your dessert, they do allow you to choose whether you prefer for them to bring your dessert in a to-go box, or to enjoy there. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! We hope that you have a wonderful week ahead!
too expensive, just my opinion
They definitely could not get away with these prices in places other than tourist towns.
