About the ghoul reproduction thing: Ghouls aren't superior. the conditions that gave rise to ghouls, radiation are temporary as radiation eventually decays and fades away and the world can eventually recover from it- and humans by practicing the right safety procedures can survive without needing to mutate into a ghoul, and the advantages that ghouls get from radiation will thus eventually become useless in a world without radioactivity. Ghouls are, no matter how fantastical, are just an adaptation to the world humans find themselves in Fallout. its possible even, that ghoul's immortality is powered by radiation and thus when it runs out, so does their immortality. thus Ghouls are only a situationally useful adaptation. evolution is not an inevitable progression from good to better, its just adapting to be good enough to survive whatever the current conditions are. in a post radiation world, its likely the humans would out reproduce them anyways through sheer numbers. its why thinking in terms of genetic "superiority" is flawed from the outset, as many genetic differences are just different traits useful in different situations with downsides in others. without radiation-which is an inevitability in Fallout- Ghouls are just ugly humans.

Lack of radiation is an inevitability until you realize that there’s a way to replicate the effects very easily.
If the ghouls ever figured out that they are immortal and virtually invincible until the radiation dries up, that’s pretty good motivation to create Chernobyl set to 11. While nuclear missiles, even ones intentionally designed to be dirty, will only irradiate an area for at most a few hundred years (more likely decades); a nuclear reactor set to intentionally release as much radiation as possible could irradiate an area thousands of miles wide for tens of thousands of years.

What's the downside of Ghouls being able to have children?
Ooh I dunno Cynthia..... but I think having a group of functionally immortal humans being able to reproduce on mass is kind of a bad thing.

Enter my favorite Gateway character, the cousin of the Legend of Korra's announcer-who-tells-us-what-happened-last-episode guy.
2:12:00 "Know what's NSFW? Not working."
I know it should be obvious, but I know a lot of people who don't realize this, I think many of us either know one of them or suffered one of them:
"Oh noes, wonder why my boss hates me, I'm practically a slave!" *Continues looking at memes instead of getting work done.*
Yes kiddo, it's totally your boss that's at fault, not you. //Sarcasm.
2:43:00 Fusion cores, very valuable. Unless it's Fallout 4, where you find them in half the dungeons so they're just worth 200-300 caps a piece. Yes, to a level 1 player 200 caps may sound like a fortune... Then they look back at that when they're level 40 and their caps are in the five digits range and go "fusion core? Waste of space, could use that weight for a dozen fans instead."
Unless you're into Micromanagement Tanks, aka Power Armors, those make fusion cores stay 'useful' through the whole game.

I very much agree on the whole fusion core thing for fallout 4 I have like 20 of them and currently 3 sets of power armor all with different paint jobs for different situations depending on what I'm doing but I also enjoy having power armor for the extra defense since I built my character to do insane damage with guns and have all the carry weight but I die in like 4 hits from a mire lurk without my power armor plus who doesn't feel like a badass in giant metal suit
