I've scene this competition on another video. Its interesting seeing it from this angle.
Very nice interview. More like a conversation. I cant agree with Riccardo encouraging dancers to dance with injuries though. ( of course it depends on the type of injury and severity). Its less risky for them at their level,. Because, they neglected to say they earn alot of money and have access to therapists and things that dancers at low levels often cant afford. I know this because I was a talented completive up and coming armature dancer and Injured my self during a lesson two weeks out from our national championship. I couldn't afford all the therapy and medication (almost all my money went into lessons and my dancing. so I did what dancers do I chose to dance. As Riccardo said Dancers are superhuman. THEY ARE NOT! I'm a little bewildered at such a view from an 8 time world champion. and in my experience somewhat ill founded. Then he goes on to highlight dancing with a broken toe. as if its humorous and something commendable. I took the risk and severely aggravated my injury during that competition. Guess what> I was never able to dance competitively again. 10 year career gone. Personally I believe participating in any strenuous sport (and that's what competitive dancing is) or activity with injury is simply just a dumb idea. Its only ok if you get away with it otherwise it could well be the most regrettable decision one could make. So because IIm a dancer and I'm superhuman instead of missing one national championship I missed them all. My advise to anyone in that Position is . BE SENSIBLE IF YOU HAVE AN INJURY. YOU ARE NOT SUPERHUMAN.
Love Y and R but totally agree, injury is serious. Can ruin your future dance goals or even disable you for life, if not taken seriously when warranted.

I love watching them dance but in the interviews Yulia is arrogant. If that is her real personality, Im glad they are retired.
They were very worrying if you'll be glad or upset about their retirement, but you seems still watching their old videos... lol
